| A better ep than the last ones, after that underwhelming fight of Guren&co on ep10 and the lame one last ep. Overall a really good calm ep that works quite well as a final ep for this season Surely the whole show is kinda very cliche and somewhat lame at moments but still there is some elements that will make me keep on watching the following. Btw i'm thinking of Shinoa's sister as the accomplice, 'cuz it seems we should see her next time and imo the alleged dead that turns against his old fellow sounds cliché enough to fit in :D |

| 6/10 + Great OST and OP/ED + Yu and Mika perspectives of humanity. - Animation was terrible and further expressed with the backgrounds - 99% OF CHARACTERS HAD SWORDS, but there was like 2 decently long fight scenes of characters using them (Yu vs. group of vampires and Guren vs. Mikaela) - Plot picked up on episode on episode 10-11. It was overhyped, but I'm going to have watch the 2nd season for more answers. |

I think that the human at the end was actually guren.He was acting suspiciously this ep and they cut a scene from where guren was studying a seraph report directly to the last scene showing another report.guren might actually be the mastermind of this entire thing O.o |
| Start taking a cue from other stories you've seen and then continue with the cosmic void; were it not for the final which surprised me, would be a near-fatal boredom. I imagined a first season longer and thicker, but it was a succession of disappointments, now necessarily have to redeem himself in the second phase of this TV series. Of valuable is the soundtrack and the scenery, the rest is not up to enter the Olympus of the best. | [Art] = 9/10 Beautiful backgrounds and great atmosphere. [Animation] = 3/10 The fight scenes look terrible to say the least. It looked like I was watching a slideshow. [Plot] = 4-6 (Depending on what happens in second cour). It was disappointing so far. Nothing really has gotten any clarification , and the plot conveniences that keep getting thrown it to make everything "work" just keep getting more and more bothersome and just doesn't add anything at all. [Characters] = 4/10 Some of the characters are OK , most are damn terrible. Character development is non-existent and and overall Characters just seem really and I mean REALLY inconsistent. [Audio] = 6/10 Above average however nothing spectacular. [Overall] = 5/10 I will refrain from rating this any lower even though I would want to give it a 4/10. The only reason being that hopefully some of my questions do get answered in the second cour and I hopefully get the Character development I want. I came into Owari no Seraph and REALLY wanted to like it , however it just didn't deliver. |
| Pretty boring ending to a pretty terrible first half imo. Somewhat interesting that the vampire noble has a human ally (I'm guessing it's the main lieutenant general because he's a terrible person but you never know). And I admit, I am proud for Yuu because he finally showed appreciation for his friends and their support (surprising as it is, he actually was a good person for a second there). Maybe Yuu will become a better person in the next part, but there's no way I'm gonna watch it. Overall, this show was a tremendous disappointment and a complete waste of time. The characters were overall flat, dull, and bad people in general. They are mostly the reason why I hated this show, but there are other reasons as well. The action was also poorly done despite it being a war between humans and vampires. Also, the whole demon sword thing was undeveloped and led me to believe that it was just incorporated to help the show be "cool". I really only liked the OP and background art, but those things alone could not save the rest of the show from being garbage. I wouldn't rate this as anything higher than a 2. There's no way I'm gonna watch the second half after 12 episodes of this. Honestly, the only worse anime I've seen so far is mars of destruction. You get rid of Mika their goes half the plot. You don't need to like yaoi, but I can see you are being immature. You should probably not watch season 2 because their is more to come that you may not enjoy and may see it as yaoi. |

If it WAS yaoi, it would be a shoujo or josei anime, not shonen. |

| Yeah, it's definitely not yaoi....but it IS "slashy". They're basically throwing yaoi fans a bone without making anything blatantly romantic. XD It kind of reminds me of how the SasuNaru friendship was treated in Naruto (mind you, I stopped watching that shit around 50 eps or so....but....) yeah. |

| what the hell happened to the yu and the blonde kid? motivations flew out the window replaced with bizarre and confusing ones. both of their personalities flip polar opposite all of a sudden. other than that, i liked it. story is interesting and the action left alot to be desired all things considered. the weird monologues in the middle of fights were extra cheesy and kind of awkward, but the voice acting and dialogue writing managed to pull it through barely. 7/10 |

| Well, i still need to see which animes i will be watching this season, but most probably i'm going to drop this one. The anime is not terrible, but it's not good either. It's something you watch when you don't have anything better to watch. I don't like any of the characters, i don't like Yuu and Mika drama and unfortunately the action scenes aren't good. 5/10 |

| So Shinoa's sister died trying to create the demon army and her family is very powerful. Shinoa x Yuu is so bleh, I don't like him...and he will end up with Mika anyway LOL It's obvious that Guren is the one trading information with Ferid. More Krul next time, please! 7/10 |

| Nice ending for the season, yet not good as the last 2 eps, I think. This season is 7/10 for me. Again, I hope for a better s2. Not expecting a 9/10, but I expect -at least- better animations and less boring scenes. |

| Really nice episode to finish first cour. I loved that bits of romance.Shinoa FTW BL is real here, lol That jazzy song Guren played fit atmosphere really well, loved that. Also artwork was gorgeous this episode. Well, pretty good series so far, I enjoyed watching it. Fair 7.5/10 I bet it could be better if it had better budget, but oh well, money is money... Still, waiting for second season :) |
