| Uhm...on the one hand I'm glad they got the Anteiku raid up and started but on the other hand... Otherwise....it's a good start I guess....TryingNotToCompareToMangaTooMuch... Am I the only one that got really hyped when Nishiki commented that Kaneki didn't really need the mask anymore? (I never really liked the design of that thing....) But then after he beats Tsukiyama he puts it on anyway *sigh* |

| Episode very slow, showed the preparations and the beginning of the battle, very sentiments presented, but I think the agitation starts from the next episode, I look forward to see how will be the adaptation of the latter arc .. |

| Holy fuck, if Tokyo Ghoul will continue delivering like this all the way 'till the end then this is how it'll be mostly remembered, NOT how this 2nd season started. Talk about tragic, emotional and of course, exciting. I'm at a lost who to root for anymore. Actually, rather than rooting, it's more like I want a bunch of characters we've had the time to get attached to up 'till now to make it out alive. But there has to be a winner and if all of them did survive this all-out war then this season wouldn't be as entertaining as a result so yea...have at it guys & gals, and early R.I.P. Old man Yoshimura's obviously not gonna make it and I'm thinking that neither will Shinohara. I'm curious if Juuzo's gonna make it out in one piece after all this though... |

| What's hard in this anime is that there is no good or bad side. I don't want the doves to die because they are just protecting the people right? Also, I don't want the ghouls to die because they are living beings and the only way for them to live is by eating human flesh. This is just so cruel, the whole war coming up is so cruel, how many ghouls and humans are dying :( It is not easy also for whoever lives after the war, nothing but pain is here :( |

| This series is absolutely breathtakingly dark, tragic and beautiful. What the show's creators have done through music, animation, and character development just blows me away with every episode. This is, in every aspect, a well told tragedy. As a tragedy I know this fight isn't going to end on a "and they all lived happily ever after" note but I'm still kind of hoping. I've really grown to love all these characters and I hate seeing them get nixed one by one. Note: No, I have not read the manga. |

| The start was good, with the CCG guys contemplating the fact that they may die during the fight, the ape and black dog last stand was cool...Until they got 50 ghouls dressed exactly like them. Not really of a last stand for the Owl and his 2 trusted friends when you have also an army of clones. Then it gets even worse with Touka, since she must have been aware WHY she and Hinami where taken away from Anteiku before the attack, yet she goes and ruins that plan. Tsukiyama is annoying as ever, and Kaneki still has next to no presence in the actual story. Better than last episode, but still "meh" at best, maybe the next one will be more exciting. |

| I still have a bad feeling that Touka joining the Anteiku fight will have some sort of connection to that promotional picture of Kaneki holding a body. Regardless, fantastic episode, I'm definitely hyped for the next one. That ED art reminded me of a recent chapter of :Re which was really nice. |

| Yomo Renji is my favourite character in the series and i'm really confused about his powers...He taught Kaneki how to fight and seems kind of badass.Yoshimura-san assigned him the task of protecting Touka and Hinami so im guessing he's important in the series.I wanna see him fight.Hope in the next episodes :) |

| THIS EPISODEEEEEEEEEE <3333 Everything just blew me away in this episode; the Devil Ape leader and Black Dog leader both being the two members of Anteiku; Manager showing his badass side (which I'm still pondering about the son being the actual One-eyed Owl and I have a couple of ideas but don't want them to be any particular-possible spoilers to anyone so I won't say). The whole episode was just ughhhh loveeee Touka wanting to go back = can't wait for the next episode (though I was hoping for at least a cliff hanger on that aspect!! >.< but I'll wait for the next episode ^^) And then Kaneki at the endddddd. What can I say. Overall --> Feelings uncontrollable xxx |
