| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Meh the show still feels awkward and animation remains exactly the way it was before; in other words..not good. Action doesn't fit the series right while Satsuki remains annoying as usual. And right now, she has rivalries with that other girl. The drama adds a weird atmosphere to the show. Those dresses though. |

| Well if the intent of this episode was to make me feel bad for Satsuki and then happy when she is asked to be in the reserves at the end, it succeeded. Unfortunately it accomplished this at the expense of Urushibara who comes across as an unlikable bitch. And considering next episode is all about her I'm not exactly enthusiastic. It's the standard harem trope where the two female leads fight over the guy again, just like in Saekano. And once again I seem to be siding with the more emotional girl instead of the coldly logical one. As far as Moroha himself goes he has yet to make much of an impression on me. I'm not sure on this show. I definitely think it's the weakest/least enjoyable to watch of the 4 shows like it I'm watching this season, 5 if you wanna count Saekano. I'll probably stick with it just because, but...it needs to stop annoying me and that would require not making Satsuki the butt of every joke...oh and I couldn't stop staring at the principal's boobs whenever she was on screen...for whatever that's worth. :D |
| I kind of enjoyed this episode. Satsuki being left out and I thought it was nice for Moroha to just do what he believes to be right. With her fighting a monster that made others run and some frozen. Moroha also doing something "out of the ordinary" and challenges the monster when a group wouldn't even try. The chanting and the music was pretty nice though I had to laugh a little when he was inside the monster. Still, I was happy to see Satsuki joined in and just a little bit more about Shizuno too. |

| Holy crap! A loli kissed Moroha! Freaking hell... it's like Moroha is every girls bish or something... lucky as well but still... Moroha and Shizuno have already leveled up in rank and Satsuki can't join yet since she's still too weak. Poor Satsuki T.T Such a sweet moment doe T.T I feel like here's something strange with Satsuki's and Shizuno's clothes... I just knew that Moroha had so many past lives that he has encountered every girl before XD. Awwww, now Satsuki has joined the Strikers T.T Considering the ending, it would seem Moroha is too epic to be real XD. |

| Yay at the ending, glad Satsuki was able to join the Strikers now. Felt bad for her in the beginning when she was being left out, but it definitely paid off for her to stand up to the monster and be brave. |

| I have to agreed about animation quality is average, the music is obviously great and plot with past lives is good, probably LN is much better. | Damned protagonist lucky with the girls, and the anime is full of cute girls, especially Shizuno, I like his cold attitude, but also a little thrown for Moroha In two episodes Moroha went from nothing for one badass protagonist, I'm curious to see how the story will develop of now forward .. |

Strangely enough, however, I found it a bit endearing. What this anime really needs are some interesting antagonists. At no time during the two fights we've seen have I felt that Moroha was in any danger - a sense of urgency, or difficulty even, would go a long way towards making the fights scenes more interesting. |

| Extremely generic, filled with the same old character archetypes and shounen tropes. The visuals are also below average, but for some reason it's my favorite out of the three super-bland, generic LN adaptations this season (the other two being Absolute Duo and Sister Testament.) At the very least, the voice cast alone will keep me watching this one longer than the other two. |

You know I think "endearing" is a good word for it. While I was watching this episode, I was thinking "it's not mind blowing, but there's something that makes it likable." I agree with your comments about antagonists as well, but since it's the first 2 episodes, I'm ok with the antagonists not being particularly noteworthy yet. |

| As much as I thought how shoddy the animation of the fight was..the battle unfolding itself was pretty exciting. I was sitting on the edge of my seat. I dunno what to think of this anime atm but I'm keeping it for now. |

| Moroha got a loli and sekushi bishoujo kiss within 2 minutes. Way to go champ. The dude with the axe from episode 1 was the Striker leader's younger brother? That still shocks me since that motherfucker looked at least 40. Satsuki still annoying as all hell. But those shorts she was wearing...goddayum. Those were borderline smaller than panties. Lot's of Urushibara fan service. Bed scene and she rocked that dress. Monster fight, we get another 15 minute spell cast, with lines that sound like they came straight out of a Chuuni's mouth. The animation looks to me like it got a bit better this episode, sans fight scenes. Really the only parts that aren't crisp are anything involving the magic and fighting. That Striker's group...If I were Moroha, as soon as I was back on that roof I would've given my badge to that senpai leader and told him to fuck off. What a bunch of pussies. You're telling me that entire group of B rank plus fighters couldn't handle ONE monster because it has 9 heads? Couldn't even break off into squads to handle the heads? Plz, not worth being associated with that group of fucking scrubs when you know they're going to put all the challenging fights on the OP guy. Don't recall if they played the OP last week, but after listening to it this week I'm not a fan. Sounds like a super generic magical fantasy anime OP. |
| Two lives in the past. That said, his life with Urushibara seems more interesting than Satsuki's. Well, it couldn't get any more simple than defeating that hydra, which is said to be impossible. This MC bores me to say the least. |

| Hard time deciding between Absolute Duo, Shinmai, Fafnir and this which one is most generic. So far, Fafnir and Seiken Tsukai are more interesting. It goes in the following order so far: 1) Fafnir (the fact that the girs might die is more interesting) 2) Seiken Tsukai (the mystery about the guy's two past lives) 3) Shinmai Testament = Absolute Duo (nothing really stands out) Yes, they are all generic but even then it's possible to differentiate between them. |
