| Well, I myself sound like a 7-year-old kid, so I'm used to childish and high pitched voices. Though voices that are really squeaky when speaked normally, are usually not that pleasant to listen to. Most high pitched girl voices in anime are OK. |

| I've been having a hard time with high pitch voices in anime lately. It's starting to get on my nerves. Why do so many female characters have to sound like 10 year olds? But if the show is really good, I just turn down the volume a little and try to deal with it. |

| Japanese girls tend to have annoying high-pitched voices and that probably has to do with their usual facial structure. (big cheeks, small noses and small mouths) There are exceptions of course, and these generally sound hot/sexy. |

| I know some girl with a naturally high pitched voice, I'm just confused, where the hell did that voice comes from? It's like her voice doesn't match her looks. I'm not hating it though, she was a really nice person and I had to admit that it was a bit cute, something I'd call as gap-moe experience. In anime yeah sometimes it can get annoying, but most of the time it was done purposely for comedy, or the character was supposedly annoying. |
