 What do you think of them? Do you feel like eyepatch characters only use eyepatches for the "coolness" factor? Are eyepatch characters hot (Asuka)? Do they ruin the beauty of the eyes? Too trendy? I'd like to hear your opinion. |

| In the case of Another, Misaki's eye patch was pretty significant and played a role in the plot. In general, I believe there should be a good reason for having an eyepatch; not just because they look cool/cute. I prefer medical eye patches over pirate ones. |

| The eyepatch obsession is annoying. Asuka isn't even an eyepatch character, but because of the rebuilds (fanservice no doubt) almost everyone recognizes her as an eyepatch character, and it's reflected through most of her fanart. Eyepatch characters would have been cooler if it wasn't such a popular fetish these days, but now you see characters wearing one in pretty much every modern series, and it's stupid. There is such a thing as overdoing it. |
