| I know the quality of videos on Crunchyroll is HD, but how is it compared to free streaming sites? are they same or different? I would be willing to buy a subscription if it's better than the free streaming sites. Currently, I use GoGoanime but have also used animefreak.tv from time to time. I can't really tell how good the quality is and how it would compare if I watched the same show on crunchyroll. thank you. |

| If a website has 1080p streaming, it's basically the same as Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll is the best legal streaming site besides Netflix, but I feel like they're both inferior to the illegal ones. If you care about that sort of thing, Crunchyroll or Netflix are both fine --- you just have to bear with their small libraries. |

| I use free streaming sites with 1080p. When they are down / heavy traffic, I use torrents of 1080p. I won't mention names in case of site violation. |

| Crunchyroll is far better than free streaming site, it's faster because they're sharing bandwitdth(iirc) and better than the other site, free streaming site will be so slow if they use HD 1080 like crunchyroll. |

Kissanime has the largest selection compared to any other site you can think of and has various resolutions for each anime (because not all of us download every anime in 1080p) as well as easy access. I download off other sites, yes, but Kissanime is reliable for mostly anything. |

| I use Crunchroll occasionally though I dislike seeing the same ad 3 times in a row. And you cant skip intros unless you want to see the same ad 3 more times. I use http://www.chia-anime.com/ Since I can watch on my Ipad. |

| Anyone who buys a cup of coffee at someplace like Starbucks can afford the $7/month it costs to subscribe to Crunchyroll and get simulcast releases without advertising. If you own a PS3, I recommend using that instead of a computer to watch CR. I believe they use different servers for the PS3 version with less tendency to stutter. Watching at times when kids are in school is also a good method to improve your CR performance. |
