HOLY CRAP! THE SHIP IS ACTUALLY SAILING! Last week my shipping senses had a tingle with Akane and that 'Kamui' guy and now this episode...it turns out that guy actually knows her and had some sort of expectation towards her. I'm going to ship them just for kicks and giggles now. My main ship is of course Akane with Kougami :)

Based on hair and eye colour, I got the feeling that Akane and Kamui are siblings. That's just my crappy theory. I need to make some guesses as to how he even knew her.

Also, I'm still feeling weird about the new animation style. The animation is good but it's just...different.

Going out on a lam here.

Kamui is responsible for distributing or creating that drug that clears hues that was mentioned in episode 1. It works but it is also addictive.

Tougane is a mole for his family's pharmaceutical company. He's working to learn more or potentially seize this drug.

Kamui is also using the holograms to disguise himself as the therapist. Akane doesn't actually leave the smell of smoke on her, he broke into her house to leave the WC on the wall and saw the ashtray so he assumed she was smoking.

VERY wrong but who knows

Now for the crazy theories: Kirito Kamui=Shinya Kogami in disguise. Nah, it'd be too early for him to show up, and I don't think he'd show up in this way, or do these things. At least, my curiosity is piqued until at least Kogami comes back into the scene.

LOL, I don't know now....don't sell yourself so short on the 'crazy' thinking. Out of this whole entire thread you're only 1 of 2 posters that actually seemed to catch the elusions that where thrown out in one particular scene that kinda lead me to feel the same way. The other was:
Iasuru said:
Can't wait for that professor dude to show up. Also in before Kogami uses a hologram.

Matter fact, I'd say I'm rather shocked at amazing amount of people that let such interesting 'innuendos' and contextual clues (as they used to call it when I went to school, lol) fly COMPLETELY over their heads (or either reading it completely wrong altogether; few others scratched the surface but didn't go deep enough).

And considering the subject matter about 'holograms' (or even hologram disguising) and hue manipulation in episode (which I'd surmise is going to be the theme or at least one of the main ones in this season), it certainly doesn't make what you sound crazy whatsoever.

I'm not sure why she thought she had the right to shoot the guy when Division 1 was taking care of it and already had him at gunpoint.

I didn't think she liked the shank that guy gave her.

Also Akane keeping incense cigarettes is adorable.

Hell, I get she might not have liked it but that still that didn't give her any right for her or her peoples to overstep their place and take the subject down....thankfully at least Akane got a name from the guy. But tell you still though that I can Div. 2 being the 'Fuck-shit-up' (in not so good, cool kinda way) Squad. Especially that chick....she seems like everything is fine w/ her as long as shit go her way, but let some unexpected shit go down and this bitch starts to make some stupid ass decisions! I mean, I noticed that in episode 1 when they all rushed in somewhere when Akane was trying to tell them to hold up....and they bum-rushed in.

I really liked this episode. A definite improvement over the solid first episode, imo.

The new 'villain' became a lot more interesting already.

Decent episode, it's really picking up from the 1st episode. Well, only 11 episodes, gotta speed things up a bit.

That tribute to Kougami was awesome. If no Kougami in this season, we riot! (heh...)

Liking Akane's development, although it's to be expected, with everything that happened on the 1st season.

Holding my suspicion towards the new enforcers....

The guy you are talking about wasn't Kagari. He already died when the chief shot him.
And the guy you are have been mistaken for Kagari was an enforcer of 2nd Division.

Definitely a better ep than previous, a lot less rehash and the graphics looked a bit smoother than before.

The culprit from prev episode, Kitazawa or what's his name, went really batshit this time. One would wonder how Akane managed to brainwash him previously with her one-liner about his sense of justice.

Mika's snappy behaviour is really appalling. She's way worse than Ginoza with her downright degrading statements. But look at how she glances at Yayoi; I just sensed yuri.

Akane really perplexed me with her new lifestyle and apparent fixation on Kougami ways. Inhaling/smoking cigarettes, even keeping her room holo similar to Kougami's room. It's like she's really willing to see the world as Kou did (paraphrasing good ol' Masaoka). Not all that sure it's a healthy tendency.

The new villain (antagonist?) so far still seems flat with pretty overused "I-thought-you-could-understand-me" speech. It's crystal clear that he's somehow connected with that hue-clearing drug.

The plot continues with the same quality of the another season of Psycho-Pass, until the characters are keeping the line, like this as Ginoza implied with Kogami is now plagued by Mika, and Tougane looks like a new version of Kogami, but for me it has something which makes it very suspicious
But still want the back of Kogami, as the badass protagonist of the first season he has to make his appearance in this season ..

Another pretty good episode, this is good shit, i'm so happy.

I've always thought that Akane was asymptomatic, i think that's the world they use. I think her hue can stay clear regardless of what she does, but i'm not sure, anyway i think this may play a role later on.

Kamui? Senketsu inc

So.. what color is he?
WC... white colored? as a figure of speech meaning he's "clean" (low PP)
or does the WC refer to "what color"
maybe it refers to him either being white-colored (clean) or red-colored (blood is red, and damn was there tons of blood when he died)
Maybe it was the new villains way of seeing how the bureaucrat would react to the situation and act on his next move accordingly? Or maybe I'm overthinking this..

My first thought was Water Closet xD
I think it has something to do with "white-colored" or something, because I think it's a figure of speech meaning that the criminal here is "pure (his pp is low) (trying to play detective here)

.....Am I the only one who noticed how Togane behaves too much like Kogami? xD This is just my assumption but: we know holograms can be used on people already to cover their real identity; we also got many personality hints that Tougane is similar to Kogami - the smoking, the fighting, his deductions, the fact that he's sticking close to Akane and let's not forget the OPENING full of little spoilers......so, I kinda feel like betting that Togane IS Kogami. This episode gave us all the clues we need to piece it together. Which would make me really happy. Looks like Akane really misses Kogami.
Awesome episode, as always !

I think that it can't be so simple that Togane is Kougami. I mean, I think that Akane should notice that.. They have similar things they do, but I think there is some other connection between them..
And how could Kougami get her hue got cleaner, that he could be enforcer again?
Well, this is just how I see things.. : D
But if it's so, then I think it's too simple.. : D

Once again it's painfully obvious that this is written by the same writer from Hamatora, I would have hoped he'd have learned from his mistakes(Hamatora).

Again he's using complicated simplicities to make the plot seem more intelligent than it is, and he's basically copied the concept of PP without the psychological and ethical aspects. I'm highly disappointed after waiting so long for this, I do hope it magically gets better but I just can't see it happening.
Odds are I'm not going to find my way back to a thread after my first post, it happens on occasion but not often. So, if I say something that offends you and you feel the need to force your opinion on me because obviously everyone should have your opinion or none at all, feel free to post it in the thread that I'll probably never see again. However, if you are interested in intelligent discourse, feel free to message me.

Well, I'm pretty sure now that the C in WC stand for Color, but does the W stand for? What? Wrong? I can't figure it out, but Akane seem to have understood.
The first thing I thought about the WC is ''... washroom?'' :P

The new vilain seem to have a personnal matter with Akane. How do he know her in the first place?

What got me curious the most is the fact that the dude psycho-pass droped so much. How can that happen? It make me wonder about the very first scene of the second season where you see people selling ''something'' that get your tint clear.

Loved to see those human explosion again. It's so bloody and messy.

so the 'villain' is that kinda guy
"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."

My guess is that since PP2 takes place 1 and a half years after PP ended, maybe something happened between Akane and the villain during that time span. All we can do now is hope for an episode that shows and explains anything major that happened back then :P

Not a fan at all of Mika, that's pretty obvious! Ginoza definitely had a better route for why he acted "by-the-book" and stayed unbiased with how he treated the rest of the enforcers in the previous season. Mika obviously has an unnecessary infatuation on Yayoi, which I feel like its there to cause some future drama.

I do like the smoke scene with Akane giving tribute to Kougami, despite that it is unhealthy for her. It is a realistic thing for someone to do after the events of season one.

Mika is definitely....hard to like, but if Sibyl's judgements keep contradicting her expectations she's going to have to perform Character Development-jutsu at some point in order to face reality. She reminds me of Season 1 Ginoza in that sense.

There are so many obvious parallels between Tougane and Kogami that it's made me really suspicious of him??/ ?? i wanna know how he ended up an enforcer, that might give some clue as to whether he's mole....or something

This. The new Enoforcers may be cool on their own and all but the whole Enforcer crew lacks presence right now. It's not just Kogami, Old Man and Kagari were both giving the Team quality as well. And Ginoza is not exactly helping right now.

And the new villain is actually an Art good? Tsk, this is gonna be difficult.

Better than the first ep. I'm also feeling the villain. But the first season was so good that the second season can't even compete with it... so far it's ok but nothing can replace Makishima. Akane is badass af though >:3. That cig scene though. I hope she's not smoking and just smelling it for Kogami :D. Also can Mika die already. I seriously hate her -.-. Overall it's ok, but it'll never be as good as season 1. Gen's not writing this one so obviously it's not gonna be as good but I hope the new guy doesn't screw up.

I doubt she's lighting all those cigarettes just cuz she misses Shinya and wants to be around his "smell" or something. First of all, that's just not like her. 2nd, Shinya didn't seem like THAT heavy a smoker so I doubt he reeked of tobacco. 3rd, she said she wanted to get the smell on her or something, what purpose does that serve? I think she has some kind of plan or purpose for why she's doing this.

Thought Akane's smoke smell the therapist was pertaining to came from Tougane's cigarette from the gym, so the scene of her smoking ritual felt weird for a moment -- until it sinks in and suddenly it's all cute and sweet :D

Have a few questions. Why did "WC?" scratch specifically appeared on Akane's window? does the culprit know her personally? Was the guy called Kamui a criminal Akane met in the past? Then why doesn't Akane recognize his name?

I'm surprised that I'm more interested on the new Enforcers rather than the culprit this time.
Hints are quite blunt on S2 than S1.
