| Not bad. I wasn't even thinking the cooking part was training. I had a feeling getting the tuna was but the more you know. That was pretty cool on the fight with the Orge. It looks like the MC finally settle in on being able to kill now. Sent with Mal Updater |

| Instead of Leone saying that she smelt pain from the woman and that was why she must have been selling her body I think that manga's reason, that Leone caught the scent of a venereal disease(STD) from her, would have made more sense there also seemed to be an animation error since the bra kind of cut off in the space between her arm and chest |
| Well done, well paced, well executed, the characters are still as fun as they were in the beginning, decent introductions, decent plot advancement. And before anyone believes that they aren't dishing out justice, the battle looked exactly like Tatsumi was bringing justice the corrupt and since he won't be going back to his village it's kind of a flimsy motivation and an even flimsier resolve to kill. But who cares, battle shounen with blood! Gratuitous gore! Nobody gives a damn about character psychology, let the violence commence! 4/5 - Enjoyably solid. | Bah, this episode was awful. Thought this was going to be a decent dark anime, usual shitty fan service on show, Leone's character design in particular is absolutely - garbage. Random swimsuit scene with Akame too, what on earth has happened? I must have tuned half of this stuff out in the first episode if it was present. No idea how that guys arms fell off as the kid appeared 6 meters above him. Are these kids magical? I don't even know what's going on but I certainly know I don't like any of it. I don't know why they even bother hyping up these villains or even exploring why they're villains when you know they're just gonna get steamrolled by mindless plot advancement. |

| Good episode but this anime doesn't give much the ''dark'' feeling that i expected from reading the manga, at least for now. |
| Alright I'm done with the episode now and I thought that it was still pretty good I'm bummed out that a really awesome scene got omitted but as I stated earlier, hopefully it'll be included later on (Preferably in the next episode, that way they'll all be back home) Apart from the missing scene, everything was adapted really well yet again, the animation was the same as last week, loved it...The action scenes/gore did not disappoint at all My favorite part was without a doubt the VA's....Everyone's voices are just so good as of now ESPECIALLY Braht-onii-san :DD Man, Dat Kamina voice + Braht is just perfection But one thing that bugs me is that the subbers are using the official names and I think we all can agree that the official names are just retarded so Bulat = Braht Mine = Mein Lubbock = Rabac Maybe they'll have Esdese as Esdeath (The official name) 5/5 for me (But if they dont add that scene later it's a 4/5 for me) |
| Decent episode. It wasn't nearly as serious as the first one, but I still thought it was enjoyable. Looks like Tatsumi is going to be working with Mine next episode. Should be fun to watch. |

He wasn't I didn't presume he was an important villain, he's just someone they used to fulfill his mission of getting accepted into Night Raid, he was destined to die regardless of what happened. It was shitty mindless writing, veteran soldier who is majorly feared gets essentially 'one paneled' by a kid with no real explanation how he did. His arms actually got cut off off screen because none of the animators knew either. It's all full of shit. First thing I see in the next episode preview? MC walking into a room and seeing a girl in a swimsuit bending over displaying her breasts. Yeah, this isn't be to be taken seriously at all, just mindless action mixed with fan service. What's new? |

| Great episode. Glad Tatsumi didn't bitch out. I'm not gonna complain about this episode because I'm not a manga fan expecting every single thing to be the same. |

That was your first mistake, the show isn't serious at all, it's just an entertaining bloody battle shounen was some likeable characters. The fanservice is actually more noticeable in the anime because whitefox decided to put more focus on it. For instance that scene with akami in the bathsuit is literally 1 page and all that dumb shit with her diving off and swimming and the close up of her enlarged tits was basically all whitefox (they only showed her splash in the manga and they never showed her swimming). Also the fish were supposed to be dangerous, not vigilant. Also orge wasn't an important villain, he was just used to as a trial for tatsumi. Lastly it should be noted that the first important villain likely won't be until episode 5. It's good to know that the fan service is inserted by White Fox, which seems unusual, I trusted this would be good with them at the helm. | Like most people said the story/characters aren't really to be taken seriously for the most part. There will be some "feels" later on but the funny/easygoing mentality stays for the most part. It's the same with the actual antagonists later on. Just a bunch of weird folk that are there for entertainment/edgy purposes. |

| Decent ep, although alterating between sol and carnage kinda brings the mood down, I think it's understandable for intro eps though, so I don't mind. Hope it gets darker/edgier/gorier. Didn't mind the fanservice either, it's always a fun touch, if it doesn't resort to comedy beatings of guys. Now for the most important thing, let's see if this thread can get bigger than the one for ep1. |

| Colourful designs doesn't necessarily mean an anime isn't dark... I'll skip on reading the manga though, thanks. Do you believe this is a faithful adapation thus far? | Yea, it will be 24 episodes, so there should be no reason to rush. I mean it will end with a cliffhanger no doubt so it's not like they need to rush this. Although with the first 2 episodes you can hardly tell how they pacing will go. They might just rush the beginning, who knows. |

I'd rather them pace it properly and leave the door open for a 2nd season. Whether or not they do that, I wouldn't care, as long as the pacing is fine. It really wouldn't matter where they end this, as it wouldn't be completed anyways. |

Personally I am still hoping they'll do the invasion either in the next episode or the one after that. It wouldn't be too unlikely since I did find it a bit off how the HQ was so quickly found after the first chapter. |

| This series is quite entertaining so far. But I don't get how Tatsumi is so strong, did he train in his village or something? He just seem OP. Also I'm not big fan of mixing comedy and serious moments, it's just silly and stupid. 4/5 |

This series has some lighthearted moments and I find the fanservice kind of funny and it isn't centered around it, it's just there here and there. If you think this show is only going to be about fanservice or whatever, then you're greatly mistaken. ____ Also people that are concerned about the bandit scene being cut out, that scene was very pointless in the manga and it didn't really mean anything. It would have killed the pace if they included it so I'm glad they left it out. White Fox has been a great job so far so to the few that are so hurt from this episode, just drop it. Seriously, no one is forcing you to watch this. You'll be the ones missing out on a great show, fine by me. |
