Damn, those bullies at school pisses me off this episode.

Kinda meh episode but looks like there's a new lady looking for a bit of trouble. More card/game mechanics detailed this episode too. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the older type returns in this show though.

Two things
1) Yuuya being the only one to pendulum summon just because he's the only one with pendulum cards does seem pretty cheap and doesn't seem to be willing to share it.
2) the kids are really starting to bug me. Sora is okay but the other three... they really need to stop with the cheering.

Of course there's more to the story but right now this episode showed that LDS is having a monopoly on all the duel schools, so I think that's a pretty good start, but for some reason this episode felt really slow paced. Probly because this is the same director who directed Yugioh 5DS or its probably just the writers.

Man I wonder who is Renji's enemy... I can't wait to see the Synchro duelist. I'm sure they all can't be dumbfounded to think that Yuya is capable of hurting someone and changing his hair color. To use XYZ according to them is only learned by the elites, so does that mean that the bullies recognize Yuya as an elite since he "supposedly" used them? Nice bullies!

This was an okay episode. Nothing much really happened. So three guys with their specialty in XYZ, Synchro and Fusion summons. First one is an XYZ player. Can't wait for the duel to start.

Well the more I see of Shingo, the more I like them, the way he milked his injuries, you can't help but love his cowardly duchbaggery.

I was thinking is Renji more like Keiba or Kiteo, but I think he and his mom are like the Goodwin of the series. They have the puppetmaster vibe that Goodwin had. Though I am sure like Goodwin they are puppets themselves.

We are going to see all three summoning methods :D
This season is actually pretty good and they are starting with evil corporation picking on the little guys for the plot. Hopefully they actually show all three of them duel so we can see the methods and Yuzu duel. Hopefully the show will make the female protag decent and so far she is OK just hasn't had anytime to shine yet. But seeing the MC duel first I fear we won't see all of them duel.

The chairwoman reminds me so much of the Mom from Kill la Kill (kisagari or something maybe?)

Yuya vs XYZ Student !!!! Awesome
Yuzu will face that girl who I think has Fusion monters.
Sora will face that guy who has Synchro. Fusion monsters vs Synchro OMG!!!!

Xyz is rare? What happened? How far in the future is this? B/c everyone in zexal could xyz summon. And I can't believe this guy is using constellars. I really hope we'll see all or at least most of the mainstream archetypes in this show. Like bujins, firefists, darkworlds, shadolls, etc. That would be just awesome.

I really like that they are using the past summoning methods in this season, and I hope they keep doing that. I wish they wouldn't have even introduced Pendulum Summoning, and just had these methods though. But, whatever.

Yuuya will beat the XYZ duelist. I think Sora will lose his duel, probably on purpose. Because I don't trust him. Then, I'm going to say it all goes on Yuzu's shoulders, and she gets a hard fought win.

Or, I'm hoping they actually make Yuzu a good duelist at least, and not just some damsel in distress.

This was more of a set up episode for the duels coming up, if anything else, so it was no wonder there was nothing special that happened in this ep *nods* I LOVE the fact that they're using older summoning methods, keeps it from getting boring and repetitive =D

At first i thought the Chairwoman would be an antagonist (first female MAIN antagonist? XD), and, although she IS an antagonist for now, i strongly believe that her & Reiji will join up with Yuya and co. eventually to fight their enemies, whoever they may be.

So far it seems the LDS is planning to take over the ownership of all the duel schools. It'll be good to see the past summoning methods. Though the origin of Pendulum Summon still need to be explained. How Yuya can summon a Pendulum Monster and be the only person in the beginning to be able to do so? Hope this series will explore more about this really soon.

He's not the ONLY person to Pendulum Summon. Or at least, I highly doubt it. My reasoning for this is
A) In the LDS teaching Pendulum scene, they show Pendulum Cards that would otherwise not exist
B) They mentioned summoning methods appearing all over the city when Yuya began Penduluming. I think he's just the only person to realise how to use them.

I don't know anything about Xyz summon, but Synchro and Fusion are pretty easy to understand.
