| That wanted poster is so awesome and I loved seeing almost everyone's reaction to it.From what I hear Oda has characters from the first few volumes play an important role 20+ volumes later, which I think is awesome. |

(and so is usopp's head LOL) but i have a feeling that things are going to be way more dangerous and less laidback from now own... but that's fun c: but... how can they be approaching the grandline so quickly already? surely there has to be more thats going to happen... |

| This episode was fantastic. It recapped events without turning into a recap episode, taking a look back on familiar faces while still respecting the viewer. Then it also gave us some foreshadowing about possible events to be upcoming, as well as a few other good scenes. Really nicely done. However, the town they're going to is called "Loguetown"? Really, subtitles? LOGUETOWN? With an "L"? It's clearly supposed to be "Roguetown"... stupid translators... |

| So after 45 episodes it finally feels like the ball is rolling with this one- it took a while but I feel like the benefits will be reaped slowly over time. Nami's presence is definitely one the guys need- it adds a whole new dimension to their chemistry which I'm enjoying so far! Found it hilarious that everyone was so proud of Luffy being a wanted criminal XD Seeing everyone's reactions was definitely interesting and I love the way it makes everything and everyone interconnected. Also lol at the scene with Shanks and Hawkeye |

| This episode was hilarious and feel good all around. The call backs to Kaya noticing Usopp in the background and celebrating, Coby's proud but somewhat melencholic realization they may be enemies one day, Zeff's smile and the fact he hung the poster up for all to see, Shanks celebrating with Mihawk; what a surprise hahaha, and Luffy's hometown celebrating for Luffy's sake themselves. I also loved the call back to nearly every villain that's been defeated so far! I've heard One Piece really respects it's entire cast and I guess we can see that coming through. I'm fascinated by Shanks and Mihawks relation, it's almost as if Shanks beat Mihawk in the past and if he was at his full strength they would have a rematch. I'm also incredibly curious if Usopp's dad is still with Shanks! That would mean we may get a heart warming and proud reunion of the two! The other scene I loved so much was when Full Body attacked Luffy's ship. The casual nature of Luffy questioning if Full Body was going to shoot at them, and the fact he assumed the ship was wrecked and even offered help were really funny. The entire scene had me laughing uncontrollably. So much was set up this episode, and I'm excited for both next episode, which looks like it's going to be hilarious, and to see Loguetown. |
| It's great to see everyone from the past arcs react to Luffy's bounty being the biggest one in all of East Blue. I didn't expect to see Shanks among them and watching him drinking with Mihawk was surprising and funny as well. He's finally realized as a competitor and things will only get more epic from here. They're going to Gold Roger's hometown, ooooh. I don't know who the lady in the end is as well~ |

| So those tangerine shrubs were planted by Nami. Damn, we got to see some high ranking Navy officers. Navy and Marines are the same right? Holy shit! Luffy has a starting bounty of 30 million berries! Also, he's taken down 3 major East Blue pirates - Buggy, Krieg, and Arlong. It's a cause for celebration and concern. Wait, I thought Morgan was killed by Zoro. Apparently, he's not dead. Everyone we've known yet was shown seeing the bounty poster. Except for Buggy...or did he? From what I saw in the end there was a guy on a raft wearing gloves whose face was being hidden from view. I'm pretty sure he is Buggy since Luffy definitely didn't kill him in that fight. Lol, Fullbody has become such a pathetic person now. Even Shanks got the news. Seriously didn't expect Shanks and Mihawk to be acquaintances. We see a lady pirate on a heart-shaped ship in the end. New villain? Off they got to Loguetown, Gold Roger's birthplace and execution site. |
