| It's a list, I've seen better and I've seen worst. As to whether it's accurate or not, that's a different story given that most users on here probably couldn't explain why they like something except for "it's epic!! XD" and all the troll accounts. There should really be an "It's okay" option. |

| The list is functional and I have no problem with it. It's a measure of both quality and popularity, and they won't always coincide. The purpose of it, as I see it, is to create and encourage discussions, as seen in this topic, so at least it's working. |

| Don't want to beat a dead horse here, but I think it is damn crazy how Gin Tama takes up 4 spots in the top 10 anime. I'm of the opinion with some others on this forum, that it would be nice if there was only one slot for any particular series (including a series, multiple seasons of a series, movies, specials, OVA's, Omakes, whatever else involves that one series) for the top ten ranked series. I'm not necessarily angry that Gin Tama is in the top ten, I'm just annoyed that the same series/movies of that same series are taking up valuable space in the top ten that could other anime could be in, and thus the list seems less interesting and very skewed towards one anime series. I won't lie, I haven't seen any Gin Tama myself (read the first 9 volumes of manga years and years ago and forgotten a good bit of the plot/stuff that went down) so I'm not saying that I thought the show sucked and doesn't belong there.. I suppose like one poster said above me, at the end of the days not much the vast majority of us here can do about the rankings. If you really rage against them, make your own list, make it real pretty with icons/pictures/gifs/fancy shit, post it on your profile, and entice other users to look at your "more accurate" top ten list of anime... |

| I'm fine with the top 100. Of course I don't agree with the placement of everything but I can understand the merits of most of the series on there that I have watched. Only thing I don't like is that I think there are way too many anime that have breached the top 100 or ranked high up within it because of sequel inflation. |
