| I've seen this anime was already rated 8 out of 10 so I though I will give it a try. But I after watching it I doon't understand why it got such a good mark. I mean this first episode wasn't that interesting and that sister is soooo annoying omg. Gonna wait for the second episode to see if it's worth using my time watching this. I wasnt't convinced at all. :/ |

But honestly if you have problems with 2 mature (Yes, they're very mature, age nonwithstanding) people cultivating a loving and respectful relationship based on familial bonds with no physical component besides hugging and head-rubs, then it is my opinion that you aren't ready to watch PG-13 TV shows. | Oh man, that was a good episode. I wanted to read the manga of this but the anime adaptation was announced so I decided to just finish the anime first. I've heard a lot of good things about this series. So far, it is living to my expectations. Cool and strong MCs are always the best. I'm looking forward to see what he is hiding. Damn man, the incest is strong with this one. It's not bad though since I like both of them. LiSA OP ! Yeah !!! |
| Well reading through this forum i have to say that this forum is cancer. I will not write an essay about how great this will be i will simply say that if it follows the light novels well then this anime will be good. One thing that irked me was people saying how there was no character development in the first episode, i mean well no shit the first episode was character introductions and as you saw they introduced many characters all of which who will get significant time of their own later. Character development comes later you know like after the introductions, do you even know what character development means? Oh a quick edit here - You really should not decide on characters you like or dislike in the first episode things can always change your opinion and it may not even take long. A great example of that would be Hikari from Nagi no Asukara, in the first episodes many people did not like him because of how he acted but he fast became a fan favorite and stayed one all the way till the end of the anime. |

| this anime has a lot of potential... a catchy theme song a unique explanation for magic realistic backstory about ww3 comedy a non wimpy protagonist cool character designs fighting and I really like the conflict between the weeds and blooms the only thing that's ruining it for me are the hints of incest... which I should have seen coming, to be honest. I think so far Miyuki is the weakest character. Her brother might be an issue, too, but who knows, he might surprise me. It's reminding me a lot of SAO. I'm not sure how I feel about that. |

Most of it are used as jokes in the series like well, you know the BGM that plays during their moments in the first ep? As for the reasons there will be no incest, it will be explained in episode 6/7/8 depending on the pace. As for why she's acting that way, I think it will be included too in this season though it may be near the end of the season. |

| This is the new SAO, which is great news for people who liked SAO. I look forward to all the newfags later this year struggling to write out the full title when asking for recommendations because they've seen this, SAO, and AoT and need someone to tell them what else to watch. |
| This may be off topic but in the OP we got to see Katsuto's Phalanx animated and as I expected, it seems like they animated it the same way the AT Fields in Evangelion are animated which is quite cool I guess. Can't wait too see Rupture, Gram Demolition and Mist Dispersion in action too, should be neat :3 |

| I think Hayami Saori is an amazing Seiyuu, but I wish they would've got another VA for Miyuki. This is still an amazing episode. Can't wait for next week. |
| I was expecting this to be utter garbage from the trailer. Turned out better than expected despite the retarded boob jiggle. I'm sure it still butchered (or will butcher) the novels, though. Will keep watching, but I can only see this turning out bad. None of the chars interested me apart from the Gary Stu MC who has some kind of potential to carry the show. |

I guess they could have adapted more but then the episode would have been way rushed. Id at least give it another episode. - Harem claims are kind of funny considering the character cast of all revealed characters so far. Kind of hard reading this thread and being current on the LN. |

Well, in the the source having side characters think they are lovers is a running joke anyways. We should wait for the next episode, I believe it will clearly show how the anime staff wants to portray their relationship. | An interesting setting, decent animation and cool-looking CGI that reminded me of SAO/guilty crown. Too bad they forgot to give the characters any kind of personality. And the Bloom-Weed rivalry is so clichè I can't believe they used it. |

| NO SPOILERS DON'T WORRY I'm a fan of the light novels, and I really enjoyed the anime, those who are confused about the magic system should watch the specials. The LN was a series that put a lot of importance to detail so you should start the series armed with info from the specials. Another point for those who are wondering if it will get better, or got pissed because the characters are stereotypical; as I said before it's a pretty detailed series, and if it is done well the characters will become a lot more deeper than they seem. None of the characters are JUST what you saw in the first episode; simple swords girl, glasses girl etc. All of them have interesting backgrounds and personalities. So just be patient and continue to watch If you' re in to action/supernatural/shounen. It's not a simple school action series. Please don't judge it based on any other series (harem/incest etc.) you' ve watched. |
