| The bear part was like an ironic creepy, but the animation was still weird. I hated the blood splatter at the end; it looked bad. Sometimes, objects in the foreground look like they aren't even in the same scene (blood splatter and butterflies). The researcher lady was kind of annoying, but I think I was more annoyed with the male character for being so naive and just like being so "tra-la-la". Then after the end of the episode, I was more interested in the mysterious researcher. Let's keep going. The shortness actually is an issue. |

| I don't get it? Like.. What's the point of watching this(or reading the manga)? There was no story. It was basically just "Here are two siblings. Oh, the girl exploded into a monster. Shocked face on the brother. The end." That's the entire first chapter of the source? The second episode didn't add anything of substance either. Why blame the studio for this? There is nothing to animate... Nothing happened. They couldn't have done anything different if that really is what the manga is like. Censorship sucks. Okay. But even without the censorship there isn't anything going on at all? That's not even "gore porn". It's just nothing? Just random scenes added with a little bit of dialogue. We don't even know who these siblings are, let alone the random lady on the side. It just doesn't make any sense. Absolutely random stuff. On a sidenote. I kinda like the "water color" effect. The background style looks pretty neat because of it. That's it though. I didn't even want to comment. I expected nothing of this show due to the score and its reputation but it was so pointless that I couldn't leave it at that... Any manga fans feel free to try to explain the appeal of this "story" to me :/ I'm seriously baffled this was pushing enough sales to make any publisher fund an anime for it. |
