Only 1 out of 9 people are left handed, so I'd imagine not many are on MAL. As for me, I'm a lefty. All of my siblings and parents are righties, so I was forced to adapt as a kid. So when it comes to things like scissors (still horrible with these though), power tools, etc. I'm better with my right hand. But I still write with my left and throw with my left, so I'm obviously left dominant. So MAL are you left handed, or right handed? Or true ambidextrous? A lot of people are kind of ambidextrous, but not too many are truly ambidextrous. I'm curious to see the ratio of lefties to righties here. |

| I'm left-handed. But like almost all southpaws, I'm cross-dominant. I write with my left hand. I throw with my left hand, but I'm so un-athletic I don't think it would make a difference if I threw with my right. I've only been to a firing range twice, but both times the instructor taught me to hold the gun differently from a right-handed person. I use scissors and computer mouses (mice?) with my right hand. I open bottles and jars with my right hand. Also, I can apply nail polish to the nails on my left hand using my right hand without messing it up. Important Girl Skill. |

I don't know anyone who is naturally fully ambidextrous, I think it's about 1/100. That would imply that both hands are equally skilled at everything, without any effort from you. You tend to favour one or the other for any given exercise and it becomes more natural to use that hand for that particular thing. You are able to become ambidextrous though, if you choose to work at it. I'm right handed, but I can use either hand for almost everything reasonably well, and I'm better with my left at some things. The right hand feels more natural to me most of the time, but for an example if I try to brush my teeth right handed it feels completely retarded. |

| A leftie, but some things I do with my right hand, like play golf, bat, play drums left or right handed and as others have said, use the mouse with right hand and shoot both left and right handed. You're only ment to shoot right handed though as some guns have a movement that'll hit you in the shoulder if you do it left handed. |
| I'm pretty Ambidextrous with most things like, Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Typing. The only thing I'm not Ambidextrous at is writing, where I use my right hand as it has been forced upon me as a child I was left handed, but its been so long since I have written with my left hand, it looks just as bad as any right hand person writing with their left. |
