| We got a nice epilogue at the end. This last chapter was really well written, however I didn't really get the manga's message. "Facing irrationality doesn't mean not feeling fear, but rather possessing eyes that gaze upon fear." ~ by Mangastream This message kinda feels a little bit dumb. I just can't see how this reflects on our real life or the real world. Please help me understand! |

But something along the lines of; If you're just able to see something irrational, which brings fear, doesn't mean you don't fear it, you are just able to see it. Don't know if that gives you an idea. But I still can't figure out either. |

| I'm so happy this is how it ended. it was lovely seeing everyone and what they were doing afterwards. Ganta sure has grown a bit. Looks more mature now. Definitely one of the best manga out there. Was great the whole way through. Very satisfying ending. Looking forward to buying all the volumes again when they come out in english next year :D |

I interpreted as, "When faced with what seems to be the impossible, it's okay to be afraid. What matters most is overcoming that fear by facing it headstrong." Basically, even though our struggles can bring fear and self-doubt, we have to push through to achieve what we want & what we believe is right ("rational"). We cannot turn a blind eye to fear, for our trials cannot be truly overcome without accepting it first. Hope this helps a little more. |

That smile. A big thank you for Kataoka and Kondou for creating a great manga that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I won't deny that the hiatus didn't hurt the reading experience but it was unavoidable and considering the pressure they must have felt, the quality of the chapters post hiatus was incredible. Shangetsu said: It was good I guess. I would have appreciated it much more without the hiatus :/. Honestly, I think it's remarkable that both Kataoka and Kondou were able to deliver such an ending (including the last couple of chapters) after the hiatus, especially considering that Kataoka delivered a baby and had to take care of her son while writing the rest of the story. |

| Im happy for the good ending, but I expected a bit better ending for the main cast. The rest of the crew are trying to continue their lives normaly, whitout using their branches of sin... The two main characters are both alive, but Shiro is imprisoned and she was in coma for some time... She is always behind the bars :'( I knew that the end was going to surprise me, as every plot twist of this manga always did, but this time it done it in the wrong direction. I wanted to see Ganta and Shiro togeather in some isolated house after 5-10 years, looking at each other and smiling, laughing their ass off, eating loads of candies, remembering old traumas and crying tears of joy for the second chance they got. Maybe some kisses would be nice too :D Yeah, that would be the the end they deserved after the hell they gone through, but at the end, nobody ever gets what they deserved... Dooh :p |

| I'm pretty satisfied with this ending. I don't think a huge epilogue was needed, although it would have been nice if it was explained how they survived the explosion. That's my only issue. |

| Its over! Damn reading this made me realize how many years have passed I mean this started in 2008! That's before I even knew you could download anime. I was 16 then just a teenager! I still have the memories though, I named my mangafox account (back when I still used mangafox) after the chapter "Bloodthirsty majesty" because it sounded cool. The chapters with the Owl and his gang along with the clash of scar chain vs the anti-branch of sin guys (including Ganta's friend the snake girl) gave me some many emotions back then. I think this is also the first manga that I knew the source material of before it got a anime adaptation. Although the anime didn't get far I still liked it especially the OP. Man this was such a great manga. It had a crazy and survival game premise and executed it perfectly I remember feeling Ganta's hopelessness back then. And also his courage when he became stronger. I guess they revealed to everyone that Ganta was innocent? When I first started this my main question was how they are gonna clear that up for him. Looks like a happy end for everyone who survived this crazy ride. Overall 10/10 becuase this manga hit me DEAD CENTER |

| I'm glad it had a happy ending after all the shit Ganta & co had to go through, but at the same time, I feel it shouldn't have had such an ending. Gawd, conflicted. I was expecting a depressing ending where Shiro & Ganta both die. But I guess it's nice to have something that isn't so sad. Makina's back on her feet! That made meh happeh. Minatsuki learning to be a vet, Chaplin in theater, the old man as a teacher. It was all nice. Some of the things revolving around Rinichiro fell rather flat throughout the series, and I was hoping for more info between the last two chapters, but overall, it was still good. Oh, and I was hoping there was a timeskip of around 10-so years, but this is when I was expecting Ganta & Shiro to have died. In any event, 8/10. |

Ughh I can't believe it ended, I'm gonna miss it so much, never would have I thought after finishing the anime that this manga would be so epic. The impeccable art, the setting, the likable and interesting cast, the amazing action scenes, the character development and depth it was all so good and handled so well. Big props to the author, well done. Even though I think the ending could have been better it was still good so I can't give this less than a 9. 9/10 Also Shiro added to favorites. I love her. |

| Ending was rather satisfying. I liked how it showed us an aftermath, and what the other characters are doing after the events at Deadman Wonderland. I'll give this series an 8/10 (maybe a 9). |

| pretty good ending. i actually finished this manga in a pretty weird way. i started with the final chapter and read backwards to like ch 40. LOL. never thought i would finish this manga but glad i did. it was good. |

| OK ending to a pretty entertaining manga. It had it's ups and downs, but I think overall it was pretty good. 7.5/10-----I'll round it up to an 8/10. |
