Seen both seasons twice. Was wondering how the manga did in comparison.
Well, probably the Papakiki one, since my speaking is by far the worst in it. I have different kinds, too; depending on what you like. Different reviews, rants, reactions to individual episodes, etc.

Yeah, Cal II wasn't bad per say, I just did terribly. I had a Ukrainian professor who was impossible to understand and it was a 9:00 a.m. class so I missed it pretty frequently lol.. and yeah DFQ just blows.
As far as what courses I still need to take. There are a lot. My major requires that I take at least two semester of language, and I still need to finish some of my history prerequisites (no idea why they have history prerequisites in a science major). This semester specifically I'm taking BICH 410, BIOL 351, and GENE 302 (Biochemistry I, Fundamentals of Microbiology, and Genetics) as well as a History of Texas course (required for universities in Texas.. kill me now..). I'm about a full semester behind though, and if you include the core curriculum courses that I still need I'm about a full year behind (summer school here I come)
Also lol :P no reason to give kudos for me being well off, it's not like I had a choice in the matter. You can give my parents kudos if you want though, but I'm just a broke college student =X
Yeah, you do, but I actually already have the Physics prerequisite as well as the Calculus prerequisite.
It's only Calculus I and Physics I, or at my university, Calculus 151 and Physics 218 that you need. I was more referring to Calculus II and dfq (differential equations) raping my body and my soul lol :P
And yes you're right, unfortunately. On average a med school student graduates with almost $100,000 in debt. Pretty crazy. Luckily my parents should be able to support me for that time, as well as the money that I have earned from jobs in the past. Either way though, you're right.. it has to be somewhat of a calling for you to really want to go through all of the trouble.
Not very far yet. I started out as a civil engineering major actually before I realized how much I hated Calculus lol =x .. so right now, even though I'm a Junior by year, I'm only about half way in to my Biology major. Something like 55-60 hours. Need a good bit more :P
Hoping to graduate with about a 3.5+ GPA and do well enough on my MCAT's to get into medical school ^_^ (I think I'll be ok :3)
Yep yep, I was hoping you would reply there lol! Wasn't suggesting the thread :P
Anyway, yeah I guessed as much for 5 centimeters. You're right as well about the personal connection, because it did personally connect with me as well. You definitely had to have that connection to give it a higher rating considering there wasn't very much depth in terms of the two characters.
I wasn't a big fan of Clannad's first season either. I gave it a 6 I believe, below average on my scale at best. However it was AS that I was surprised about on your ratings.. I don't cry a lot man, but I cried like a baby for 5 straight episodes from episode 17-21. The development that Tomoya goes through after Nagisa's death and his realization that he is a father was amazing to watch (for me at least)
I'm still going to watch Darker Than Black, but damn! I hope I don't feel the same way as you did about it lol :P We'll see I guess though :x

What about Trigun btw? Just not your cup of tea? It was one of my favorites when I was younger :x
