I also got this Macross Frontier vibe when I saw the girl on TV in a brief moment. The song the students sung was okay imo. All united under one school huh. Nice to see Valvrave back I guess.  That's it my highschool friends, middle finger to both the ARUS and Dorssian. Off we go with one Module to live our lives free from essentials and Solar power?! Seriously, it's time to shut down your brain and enjoy the balls spectacle from Shouko!! The story continues to amaze me for its twists. Who would have guessed Shouko is now my favorite character in the series?! I'm now glad she is not dead. She is a genious with the stripping threat XD. Lucky for her this is Japan culture. In America, this kind of threat has no impact lol. Skirt griping is now a signal for ideas. Nice job Sunrise for coming up with weird gestures! I guess Shouko and Haruto are the new power couple now. Haruto should man (or vampire) up and confess to her again. But the whole thing just looks too good to last long. Dorssian army will catch up to them. In addition there is the matter with L-elf... The story behind Valvrave seems odd from the start. Why a peaceful Academy holds such powerful war machine? Who is that mysterious woman in Valvrave's control monitor? I begin linking her to C.C and Haruto's vampire power to Lelouch's Geass. This is another Sunrise show after all. |

My guess is that it's still gonna happen. It's precisely because they're so naive that at some point something oh-so-heartbreaking and melodramatic is going to happen — probably a character or two developed at the last minute who dies a traaaaagic death — to show them just how harsh reality is, thus leaving them no choice but to accept ERU ERUFUUUU'S help. OH WOOOOEEEEE the predictability and stupidity show is just amazing. The one redeeming aspect of this trainwreck of a show is that it's a spectacularly entertaining trainwreck \ (•◡•) / |

| So Shoko's the president's daughter... I was hoping Haruto would collaborate with L-elf. For the robot part, I think it's just because Haruto is the 1st one to pilot it. "It's been a long time since I last laughed." Is he excited at the turn of event or is he just laughing at JIOR?? Another question, how are they gonna repair the module or get oxygen now? |

| I don't know what to think of this? I mean no matter how nicely it was animated and no matter how nice her words sounded, long term consequences considered, Shouko's "brilliant" plan did just easily doom hundreds of incompetent children to a slow and agonizing death in outer space. Unless of course protagonists happen so I guess ERUERUFU will still win in the end. But she just went from "somewhat likeable, might have potential" to "dumbest least favorite character this season" and just a few hours ago I was pretty sure that title would go to Ronaldo. |

They will fail and we have all seen this before. I say all these negative things but I'm still going to watch. XD Also Shouko is really annoying for some reason I liked it better when she was thought to be dead and it gave the mc a good reason for revenge. |

| The last part was well.. uhm, I tell you that girl is crazy. Somehow people here seems forgot the part where the senator was forced by Shouko to formed an alliance in their newly form state, this will surely secured the survival of the students especially since the ARUS is very interested in the Valvrave. Looking forward for L-elf having his own Valvrave that will be coool |

| I have to say that this was an interesting episode. They quickly found a way to make both sides of the battle evil and JIOR (of course...) to be the better group. (Ughhh...) Though I find JIOR to be too idealistic, too complacent, and too weak. I mean they only fought back once against Dorssia before giving up. Shoko was an excellent leader and I admired her spirit here, however I have a feeling that that has raised (another?) major death flag for her. Those in charge of movements that happened to be the sweetheart of the MC, usually don't turn out well. And speaking of their idea, I think its really interesting and new, but a little too idyllic and naive. This is a tiny module against literally the entire world. With the rest of JIOR taken over by Dorssia, they are on their own. As much as I admire their spirit, I don't think that they can last the long haul. And what happens when one of the superpowers calls their bluff? What if they decide to simply blow them up, Valvrave and all? Also is it really smart to have a "country" entirely run by 480 students and 2 teachers? These are a bunch of teens who have never seen or cared about war. What if this war goes on for years as most believe it will? What happens when supplies run out? If the module has mechanical issues? Or a myriad of other things? And eventually your going to have a bunch of students who are just going to give up, the weak links. These aren't soldiers, these are teenage students. And I actually believe more in L-11's plan. As he says, it's the foundations of the government that needs to be changed in order for there to be any change. This move is just a bandaid on a much bigger wound. I honestly believe what L-11 says. Haruto WILL make a contract with L-11, it's just a matter of time. (Perhaps Shoko will actually die and Haruto will be unable to save her and so Haruto will have to turn to L-11?) Anyway, I had a feeling that the Valvrave would only let one person pilot. That contract's nothing to laugh at. I honestly don't even know what it injected into that poor guy. It look like he imploded and had hemorrhagic fever all at the same time. When the screen said "Your Mistake", I was like "that's the understatement of the year." Akira looks as if she has some social disorder or something and she can't be around others. I'm guessing her brother knows this, so I'm surprised he didn't catch on to how Shoko heard the ARUS transmissions. That Moses line took the cake though, I cracked up at that one. I will forever call that senator "Moses" from now on! Also, it seems that Haruto can expertly pilot the Valvrave again. I loved that things gun and other sickle thing. The enemies vehicles look bad, like giant insects, but I find the waffes though are really good. Well, everything seems too nice now, and the next episode seems the same. I'm doubting that this is going to last long. There be major storms on the horizon in store for our tiny, tiny, tiny "country". I give this episode a 8/10. |
| Oh, I forgot, not counting energy, food, water, and supply problems, how the heck are they going to keep going without doctors and medicine? Especially when some like Thunder are injured? Infection is nothing to play with. Speaking of Thunder, why do I have the feeling that Haruto's male friend is going to become the "Tolle" of this series? And that Yamada will become Aina's rebound guy? |

What episode were you watching? When did L-11 and Haruto team up. Haruto seems stubbornly against teaming up with L-11 (though I have little doubt that that will change in the long run. Also, L-11 is on thin ice. All it would take is for Haruto or any of his friends to call him out and L-11 will be revealed as a Dorssian. He has nothing to keep them from telling. Also I doubt L-11 cares enough about the students to train them. |
| This series doesn't make sense on so many levels...but I don't even care at this point. L-Elf's plan being broken up by Shoko = win. |

Seems I've failed to shut off by brain completely... must remember to do so properly next week. I hope they don't Guilty Crown this show though, if the writing BSODs that badly the animation and music won't be enough to make it worth watching. |
