THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Well, it was far better than the last episode but still things went too fast and they did not follow the manga's story line. It would have been more dramatic if Sesshomaru would have been the one traped inside Mouryoumaru's arm, as in the manga.

Next episode seems promising but maybe I'll disappoint me.

Wow, if I hadn't read the manga beforehand, I would have been totally lost during this episode. Kinda disappointing that Sesshoumaru wasn't there, but since they sped up the plotline of him getting Meidou, then I guess it would have been a little pointless for him to be there...? Whatevs, Byakuya is finally here so it's all good.

lol I love the wavy old guy that'll be in the next episode. He was so funny in the manga.

Well, not exactly. He's in the beginning at least.

Inuyasha needs a stronger sword from "ryuu rin" because of last time.

Kouga's troop got attacked, one of the boys received shikon no kakera from a youkai seems like Naraku. He is now attacking Kouga for his shikon no kakera.

Inuyasha needs to defeat the monster with ryuu rin protection? That guy, with the ryuu rin at right, there also needs the power of "ryuu rin" At the end, he got it first and is fighting against Inuyasha. That guy is "controlled" by the power.

That boy is back to that monster, followed by Kouga. Kouga is going to fight against the monster that attacked his troop. His brother, however, caught by another new born monster that flies.

That guy is completely covered by ryuu rin and Inuyasha's Tessaiga power is weakened. He thought he's winning, but he's completely covered by ryuu rin and broken. The power in that sword transferred in Tessaiga. They saw two of Kouga's friends so the group decided to follow them.

Mouryoumaru got the monster with the boy's brother. Kouga is in pinch, so Inuyasha came to help.

Shikon no kakera controlled Mouroumaru's arm, so Kagome shoot the arrow. lol, Inuyasha and Kouga even have time for argument!

Byakuya, the name of that youkai who gave the boy Shikon no kakera, is Naraku's new clone. He, as ordered by Naraku, only watched and reported the result.

I like the pacing of this series, it would have taken weeks to power up tetseiga in the old series. The fight against Toshu could've been better, though, there really wasn't any suspense to it. Oh well, I guess that's one of the trade-offs for the quicker pace... That may come from the title of the episode revealing the outcome, too.
Is there another word for synonym?

I hate the pacing of this show. I haven't read the manga so I feel like I'm missing a good deal of information. It would have been much better if they had made this episode into 2 episodes.

Yeah I can't believe we waited this long only to have a series so rushed that it's becoming unenjoyable to some people. Kind of a letdown.

It might be rushed at the beginning but maybe this pace will end when it nears to the final confrontation. After all the end did take sizable number of chapters on the manga.

This episode was much better than the last episode, IMO, but it's still wayyy too fast. I would've been totally lost if I had not read the manga... But who knows? Maybe the pace will slow down if the directors realize they're ahead of schedule or something.

The fight with Moryomaru was a bit anti-climatic, but meh, they had to speed it up... Besides, there are better fight scenes that have yet to come. :D

pace is still rushed, but i am getting used to it or its slowly slowing down
ok ryuguu tessaiga adquired, now it needs the service pack 1 and it will be fine
and yes, the old guy we are gonna met was really funny in the manga

the first season run for 271 eps and the 2nd can't even get more than 26? The story is jumping all over the place and they are rushing things way too fast without given any detailed plot.

Well, it wasn't that fast this time. Almost. I hope they slow down when they finish all these powerups and set the stage for the finale, I'm still happy to be watching it again and trying so hard not to be so let down for the pacing. As long as

anyway, here's hoping they slow down. EVENTUALLY!

Yes, that's the chapter that I'm anticipating as well. It's probably my favourite too, so I hope they do a good job. I'm also eagerly awaiting

I still think that they're just speeding through the first bit to get all the powerups/minor plot things out of the way so that they can focus on the big stuff for the remainder of the series.

I have no idea why they limited themselves to only 26 episodes when the show could easily have enough revenue/fan base to make a longer season. =/ Ah welll, I can't complain since I'm excited just to see this last bit animated.

Haha, yeah it was only in the manga...and even then they didn't end up doing much. :P Perhaps in the anime he'll have a bigger role to play.

Yes I want to see both of those things animated. That is one of the reasons I am watching this after this long.

Moryomaru has a very interesting ability. He absorbed the Tetsaiga's adamant barrage, but I can't help but wonder how these demons get the abilities they do.

And Byakuya/Naraku are the same as ever. Instead of fighting Koga themselves they use a little kid to do their dirty work for them >:(

And dragon-scaled Tetsaiga looks awesome but there's that nasty side effect you have to be careful of.

I wish it wasn't so fast paced...This is one of my absolute favorite anime, I wish they hadn't condensed The Final Act so much...

But I still love InuYasha! Maybe I should read the manga.

It's too bad that Tetsuiga now absorbs InuYasha's energy when he uses it...But is it only when he uses the dragon scale form? I sure hope so. xP

Simply put, the 1st series was full of fillers while this one is to compress around 200 chapters of a manga in mere 26 episodes. If anything read the manga.

Another inarnation... so wow, much new.

And another upgrade to Tessaiga? What's with all these powerups that everyone's getting? I mean it would be completely fine if they didn't happen in like 3 episodes next to each other :'D
Oh well, I just hope we can finally get to the last arc soon.

Also, Goryomaru or whoever is lame... The kid at least had a better personality, not just this nothing :/

Nice to see Koga and Inuyasha have gotten stronger weapons, too bad that Inuyasha's newest upgrade is basically a double edged sword.

Looks like Naruku has a new incarnation, wonder how many more there will be or that Byakuya will be the last

the pace of the anime was really too much, left aside inuyasha found that swordsmith too fast, but his battle against him just didn't have the "meat" we needed to get, and then he just got to another fight in no time and felt the same, the anime should be slowed down a little, seriously.

so naraku has created replacement for kagura, though i wish to see more of naraku's plans than his creations.

13 chapters this time. I should add that even though The Final Act is adapting a bunch of chapters together, it doesn't mean it's adapting all of them in order. But I guess that should be expected. When I started The Final Act this isn't what I expected. I thought the anime would just cut to the final arc of the series and that's it, instead of stitching together a bunch of chapters from the 21 volumes that it couldn't adapt properly.

Sesshomaru learns a new move and Inuyasha's Tetsusaiga gets an upgrade. Looks like I was wrong about the subplot about that demon who disguised as a girl in the last episode. The Dakki he had did have some significance to the plot. But it happened so fast I couldn't tell what was important to the plot and what wasn't.

Seems like Tetsusaiga will get another upgrade in the next episode. That's so fast compared to the original story where he'd use the same abilities for a long time.

Naraku's currently lacking in subordinates with the death of Hakudoshi and Kagura. So I guess it was time for creating a new incarnation. Not bad but I doubt he'll receive any meaningful development that will make me care about him. I think Hakudoshi should've been kept alive instead of his half-assed betrayal plot. That little shit was menacing.

Only natural for Inuyasha to get an upgrade for his Tetsusaiga right after Sesshomaru gets one for his Tenseiga.

Should be interesting to see where Naraku takes his plans now that Kagura and Hakudoshi are out of the picture. It'll probably have something to do with the drawbacks of the new abilities of the Tetsusaiga. I believe Naraku only has 3 subordinates now. Kanna, Moryomaru and this new guy.
