I guess it's K. it was so good at first but... whattt happened. When I finished the last episode I was like "...Am I supposed to be sad or what" .__. maybe the 2nd season will be better
Huge KyoAni fan here. I agree. Same thing with Chuunibyo. I can deal with Haruhi Suzumiya because there's only one unlikeable sociopath. Plus Kyon is an amazing lead character. But Chuunibyo's entire supporting cast is insane, unlikeable and downright annoying at times. Plus, Yuuta is as generic a lead as they come.
I didn't like the repetitive nature of Najica and her partner Lila tracking down rogue humaritts seemingly for the majority of the series, I especially didn't like how the last two episodes played out and was horribly done. The only things I could say that were good was Najica and Lila's development as partners was alright and the animation for an early 2000's title was okay. Overall, I wasn't impressed with this series to give it a good score.

fuck a1 picture
Curious, but how so?
Candor explained this to me, but I'm curious what you mean as well in regard to "they messed up the whole arc".
In spoiler tag form of course.

I did explain a couple of things about how the arc was messed up in the new discussion thread already, my posts spread over the last 3 pages, so make sure to read them all. :P

Oh, will do then!
Have yet to watch episode 16 of Magi, but good thing I've read far enough in the manga to not care about spoilers, so yeah...*starts reading*

I realized that they don't really use good CG in hentai. :C
You know what. Anime is always equal. When you look at that kinda stuff, you only see hentai everywhere.
I mean Steins Gate is like ya know Makise and that idiot main character lab-coat guy sewing their lab coats together so they can have children without people seeing. And the reason they keep having to jump back in time and why CERN is so mad at them is cause they have too many damn children.
Sword art online - yeah second part of the series was dissapointing.
K - i'm not a hater, but this series was the most dissapointing anime i've ever saw. Animation, character designs... all so beautifull.... but then man would expect some outstanding plot to justify the resources and effort put in it. It was like an anime fashion show - jeah a bishie appears in a cool way and does nothing meaningfull, and then next, and then next bringing loli with him, and then next in a fashionable military style uniform. Crap.
Of my recent anime, I'd have to say Sasami-san is my latest disappointment. It had cool art and a great opening too, but I just got so damn bored with it. A shame, really. I really liked the character designs.
I saw the character designs, and read the plot and it sounded awesome. And the first episode was. Then the second was the exact same, the the third, fourth, fifth, all the until episode 24 where they finally do something different. Felt like the Endless Eight all over again.
clannad & after story. I though they were good, but suuuuper overhyped, thus I felt dissapointed when I realized it was just cheap drama like 80% of the time.

I had a feeling it would happen way back in December when you had interest in it.
Not placing any blame on you by any means, myself am guilty of this as well for other series.

Aria the Origination. Don't get me wrong, it was very good, and the last 5 episodes were amazing and the total peak of their character development (also, I cried like a bitch). But the first 8 episodes weren't great, and overall I found it inferior to Natural, the season beforehand, which struck a great balance of character development, world building, and occasional fantasy elements (the latter of which are completely absent from Origination). So yeah, considering it's supposed to be the best season, disappointing.
I know that this movie is considered a landmark in anime, and I can understand why, but holy damn was I almost falling asleep trying to watch it. Nothing really happened in the first hour and I thought the end felt pretty rushed, too.
My friend bought a movie at the last anime con because he read reviews online about how great it was it was called "Paprika" and i'll admit the artwork was intresting, the voice acting was pretty good, but the whole time watching it i have no idea what was going on. The fact i couldn't follow the plot line or charecters at all ruined it for me. I couldn't enjoy it. it seemed to keep changing and i got fustrated. But I figured I cant judge the movie especccially an anime till its over.I don't remember the ending but i remember it was ridiculous and kinda disgusting.
Hell Girl. I do like watching all these people suffer and oh so tragic and humanity is oh so cruel and everything, but I just couldn't get over how you can choose to exchange their few decades (at most) of suffering for eternal suffering. It just doesn't seem logical. I know people in pain are generally not logical, but... it was just too difficult to stomach for me. Please don't stone me for never having experienced suffering so much that I would choose to go to Hell for eternity instead.
Mondaiji-tachi ga ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?
It has very good rating, so I expected something nice, but... It's not interesting at all! There wasn't a SECOND when I could think 'It's actually pretty good'. NOPE. Nothing at all.
After Kirito finishes the game (wich I think should be the end of the anime), another story begins and that's all the stuff with Asuna's family and blah, I don't think I want to continue watching, it took a weir path.
I had so much hope for this anime. It had a really good, strong plot but towards the end of the series, it just got draggy and the ending was just so... disappointing, arguably one of my worst's endings, but because the beginning of the anime was so good, it's not. It was just one big ball of disappointment for me. I couldn't even bear to watch the last 5 episodes during the arc where they introduced anime-only character Ernst. The anime just changed the manga so much, practically into a whole new story-line. Rin's initial goal, Kick Satan's ass (meaning get to the bottom of Satan's true goal, confront him for his "crimes" and ultimately defeat him... right?) BUT by the end of the series it just more like turned out to be a cliched "friendship overcomes everything" type of thing. Like seriously? -___- Sighs. I was just baffled with the whole ending. With explaining Rin and Yukio's mother's past, it really made it seem like Satan had a explainable goal and he was doing it with good-intentions, but he was just approaching it in a violent and dangerous way. I felt like Rin and Yukio didn't bother to question Satan, they just assumed he was pretty much evil and wanted to kick him out of Assiah and that was a let down. It would've been nice if Rin actually talked to Satan and we knew more about that. And the whole Yukio also inheriting demon powers just, ugh, made me lose so much for this anime. I felt like Okumura Rin was no longer a special character... I mean the whole point why he's so different is because he's got Satan's powers, it makes him special, it drives the plot and major character development. But when Yukio awakened as a demon who ALSO had Satan's powers, gosh what a let-down. Now they both have it so... now what. It just made me lose a lot, I guess. I mean it's understandable, Yukio is the twin brother of Rin and son of Satan also, but then they clearly stated he was too weak at birth and inherited ZERO power, so why give it to him, to maybe give the anime a "touching" ending where brothers in arms can defeat their dad but STILL, the ending could have went a better way without Yukio turning into a demon. I feel like Yukio gaining powers ruined the anime for me, and even if he gains it in the manga, it will also ruin Ao no Exorcist as a whole for me. I'm sure you're tired of hearing me rant but with the whole grandfather filler/ending and Yukio as a demon, the anime progressed rather slowly only to fall into a rushed ending, and there were some more major questions not addressed, such as Mephisto and Amaimon's roles and ulterior motive in the anime. I understand it goes with the manga but they practically rewrote the story-line by adding in things that may or may not happen from characters introduced, so why not go and explain what they were trying to do. I mean, it has been hinted they are half-brothers of Rin and Yukio and also Satan's son, even giving obvious hints and clues to Rin who does not address it at all, WEIRD, so they might as well just tell it to us viewers straight. If they added characters, couldn't they elaborate more on the current ones? Also, most of the anime itself is filler, only keeping in some original things from the manga, which I didn't like what they added to the anime. Overall, I really liked the series in the beginning, I even enjoyed some of the fillers, but I was really disappointed. I still give it a good rating because I liked Rin as a main protagonist, the artwork, the animation, and the concept it was going for. I liked the themes of brotherhood and family bonds. BUT still.. Disappointed.

Jeez write an essay why don't ya? I'm just messing around, but that really is a lot of text.
On topic though: I would say Skip Beat! for its rather awkward ending. I know the manga is still publishing, but the director could've concluded the show in a much more satisfying fashion.
