Also, all 4 of the Slam Dunk movies are well below 1000. I remember really liking the one that focused on Rukawa and the middle school kid as well. Though it's a movie so I don't know if that counts. |

Obviously, Rose of Versailles, Angel's Egg and Flag are also amongst my favourites, and I like al lot of the others mentioned, even if I wouldn't consider them "favourites", per se. Outside of what has already been mentioned, the Patlabor movies would also fall into this category. |
