| Good episode, the fighting has started. We will see a lot of Edo Tenseis, some are unexpected. Sai's brother appeared which is going to be resolved next episode and Sai in pissed mode is awesome, look forward to it. Omoi struggling with the whole war, he is still young but Kankurou does a pretty good job as leader, he is going to fight Sasori with his own puppet and pay him back. Gaara and Darui spliiting up, the main forces are on their way, intel on Madara still hasn't reached them. Poor girl Anko has been taken hostage. |

| Finally got some action going things started out pretty good i wonder if the in tell will reach them tho. What happened to the big guy tho it seems like he is waiting for a surprise attack or something one thing is for sure next week will be interesting. |
| Great episode for me, I love how they're using amazing strategies instead of blindly attacking them by rushing in. It got intense when Kankuro's team was stuck in certain situations, and Omoi got serious! Mikasa said: Sucked that the guy didn't die along with the Aburame one. That would've been even more intense. Uhmm I don't read the manga so I could be wrong but it was hinted early on the start of NS that he had a companion in Root, the white haired guy he painted in that book that he always seem to be carrying around, somewhere in between episodes 40-50 something of Naruto Shippuuden I think. Hell yeah now that's war!!! Gory and gritty, and things happening so fast only the cool officers who can think on their feet can put their heads on it (Kankuro on this one apparently). |

| They have given a name to Sai's brother. The name of Sai's brother was never mentioned in the manga, not even once. And finally, the war officially started. The one who will kick ass here are Omoi, Kankuro, and Sai. Cannot wait to see more of the action. That usage of Doton was so fun. Ahahaha. It will be cool that Sasori fights his own puppet. |

I hate it though when people give hints or spoilers, even if just subtle to ruin it for the rest of the non manga readers. Yeah One piece has crazy spoilers in it. I know people were telling me this arc is going to be like 20 or somethin episodes? lol no way. This arc is at least probably going to be like 90 chapters in the manga and that could be mean over a year. But in all my years of watching ongoing shonen anime i have never once seen an arc that long, so im pretty sure they will put filler in between just to feel in the gaps. Or possibly create different subtitles "Part 1" "part2" like they did in bleach. |

| I was extremely satisfied with this episode. Great idea for the reincarnated ninjas to have feelings. (I guess I never really thought about it) I wonder if they have Jiraiya? Imagine Tsunade vs Jiraiya. omg.... I can feel some emotionally awesome packed episodes coming. |

Considering the pace, and if it stays like this it would be more than 80 episodes, as for fillers there are some shounen which don't have fillers more than 5 episodes. Katekyou Hitman Reborn! would be an example (haven't compared Anime and Manga, but Anime seemed to have no fillers more than 5 episodes), and alot have went more than 50 episodes. actually almost every single one (at its beginning mostly), not to mention Naruto season one had almost 135 canon episodes without much fillers, and 2 arcs in Bleach went over 60 episodes without fillers, and One piece till where I've reached. Well an episode or 2 or even 5 of fillers are likely to be put. Personally I think they're going to continue it without fillers, actually that's the way it should be 'cause it'd be too awkward if they don't. Same goes for Hunter x Hunter which has much more material than Naruto (about 300 chapters.) Well i am taking in terms of "arcs" their has really never been an arc over 60 episodes in anime. Its usually 15, or 25, or maybe possible 30 or so at the most. For most ongoing shonens, like bleach, naruto, and one piece. Sure some of them had consecutive arcs like the water 7/enies lobby went way over the 60 limit. But regardless they are still separate arcs. Thats what i mean in terms of this war arc. How exactly are they going to animate a total of 80 episodes. If it actually is one full arc of 80 episodes, its the largest arc ive ever seen in anime, other wise like i said they may either put a filler in between, or create a part 1 part 2 subtitle's to separate the 80 episodes. I don't believe its going to maintain that pace though, it probably will probably increase to more to like 1 episode = 2 manga chapters. In any case, the manga is far ahead enough that their is absolutely no reason to place filler at all. The arc is nearly at its climax in the manga and by the time the anime catches up. The manga story might even be over by then lol either that or well into the next arc. Hitman reborn had very little filler actually, the first season was all manga, but thats another discussion for another topic. |

| The war is just barely getting started but already off to a good start. Can't wait to see some of the battles in this arc animated, they will probably make my eyes pop out of their sockets. All the training that the shinobi have been through, all the fights they have encountered, its all for this moment. I am so glad the closing theme song is actually good, to offset the crappy opening theme. Kind of brings more impact to the series episode cliffhangers. |
