My hate for Kurumi has decreased quite a lot, still dislike her though.
Thing are getting serious, I'm hoping for some romance.

And all planing went to waste - either simpleton personality of Sawako helps her or she is indeed master of deception and manipulation :D
ok we all know that it's first

I like Kurumi - in her normal version, not that sugar coated role she was playing
hope to see more of her
plus she is much more similar to Sawako than it seems - both basically alone, playing role of someone else but Kurumi didn't found anyone who sees her as she really is

and bonus - Sawako going at that party... by god's of Nile she looked very pretty (not usual creepy-cute way but simply good)

How disappointingly conventional. The evil rival always gets rejected, pretends to recover then likes her rival despite herself. This is the first time this series has felt a little bland.

This episode actually made me like Kurumi a little bit. Her friends back in middle school were terrible. Nice to see that she's actually just being herself now. The end scene was absolutely adorable, Sawako asleep was so cute.

I don't know if I was supposed to feel bad for Ume the last 3 episodes, because I really don't...other than Sawako realizing she loves him, the last 3 episodes were quite frankly a waste of time to watch unless you wanted a poor reason to somehow like Ume for whatever reason. Even though Ume's friends were pretty bad, she was terrible herself too. Misery loves company, basically sums up her middle school years....

Didn't feel an ounce of sympathy for Kurumi during that flashback. Crying because she subjected others to the same treatment? PLEASE......She is less annoying when she drops the act though.

Ayane/Chizu = best characters in the show imo. love the character synergy from the 2.

No Sawako, rivals doesn't mean friends, she's your enemy that wants Kazehaya.

The rejection scene was obvious. I mean Kazehaya has been all over Sawako since he first saw her, and he even shows his true feelngs for Sawako when he drops the cones.

It was cute seeing Tomo and Ekko singing during the karaoke party ^_^

Okay, that ending was so fucking cute :3

Well, as I thought it would happen, Kurumi confessed to Kazehaya and he rejected her. It was kinda obvious by the title of the episode and the preview.

Pin is so stupidly funny :P

Ugh okay, this episode made me feel bad for Kurumi. And I don't think she's gonna piss me off anymore now that she appears to be done manipulating and playing games with people. I'm also glad she's stopped acting two-faced. So I've warmed up to her a little at least.

I can't wait to see how the show goes on now that they've both openly acknowledged their feelings for each other. :)

LOL @ Kurumi's transformation.

So she got rejected. Although I dislike her, I feel so bad for her during her middle school years. But it doesn't mean that she has the right bully someone because of her jealousy. Kazehaya is cool. He rejected Kurumi straighly and handled that really well although she cried. He apologized and told her that there's someone who he really loves and can't put someone above her, and that girl is Sawako. <3

"Sawako."

"Yes?"

Kazehaya's shyness is cute! Sawako is beautiful while sleeping. Too bad she didn't hear him calling her first name, because she was sleeping and dreaming about her and him. She was sleeping with her head on his shoulder at the end of the scene. <3

That episode ending...

Ahhhh! I'm squirming in delight! Too much cute!!! And Kazehaya's reaction to her leaning on him was perfect<3<3

I was really hoping that Kurumi would become real friends with Sawako and Ayane and Chizu, I know she didn't deserve it but I was hoping it could be like showing her what true friends are supposed to be like. Her getting rejected felt so good thoughXD

Love this show. I know the premise seems like it would be predictable and cheesy, but I still find this show incredibly original in all the little things that it does. Really enjoying this one:)

This one starts with Kurumi shedding tears down her face, after having gotten all her feelings out to Sawako. Lol Sawako is crying right along next to her, she says tears are contagious. She ain’t wrong, I cried with them too ha ha. Kurumi unexpectedly starts sharing everything she loves about Kazehaya with Sawako and Sawako does the same. Lol Kurumi couldn’t even understand why she was doing it. Sawako was happy to be able to talk to her about it.

Kurumi seems to have given up. She acts like she doesn’t wanna bother with Kazehaya anymore, as if there’s no point. Sawako knows how Kurumi feels though, because she feels just the same. She knows Kurumi shouldn’t leave things as they are. She thinks Kurumi should be honest and tell Kazehaya how she feels about him.

Kurumi starts to look back into her past. We see things haven’t always been so great for her. All of her friends really seemed to be just using her, and always talked behind her back, so I can see where she got the mentality of using others from. One day back in middle school, she was crying and hurting, and Kazehaya was the one person to see that. I guess that’s when she truly fell in love with him. I can understand why she would.

Kurumi finds Kazehaya and confesses to him, tears streaming down her face. He says he’s sorry but there’s someone else he likes. She says she knows. That he makes it way too obvious. She then starts acting more like her true self around him, which makes him a bit surprised. She then says he really knows nothing about girls, which is pretty true lol. Even though she was rejected, she gets Kazehaya to call her by her given name, just once. I think that alone made her feel much better.

Sawako decided to tell Ayane and Chizu about her crush and they acted all oblivious as if they didn’t already know lol. Sawako couldn’t help but wonder if she would be better friends with Kurumi if they didn’t like the same boy.

Ha ha I loved Kurumi’s get up the next day. The sunglasses were really a mood. She really doesn’t seem to care how others see her anymore. She even quit the innocent facade she put on.

Kurumi and Sawako talk and Sawako asks if they can be friends. With a smile Kurumi says not friends, but rivals. I like this new Kurumi. She seems so much more real and refreshing.

Field day is over, so the school decides to have an after party. Kazehaya finds Sawako softly sleeping alone on the staircase. He sits by her and whispers out her given name, knowing she wouldn’t hear. It made him really surprised when she turned over and fell against his shoulder. He was so flustered lol. I think this Kurumi arc was nicely wrapped up. Looks like a friendly get together is next.

God, that was such a long sports festival...

Honestly, I would never feel sorry for a character such as Kurumi after the things she has done but I have to admit that, as a character, she's way more interesting than Sawako.

That aside, it was a nice episode, I liked how the rejection was handled and it also seems that Kurumi will become a recurrent character from now on. I guess it's ok as far as she acts like she truly is.

And now that this arc is over, I wonder what new obstacles may appear...

Also, I know Kazehaya and Sawako are the main focus of this show but I really would like to see more development for Chizu and Ryuu's relationship.

ah.....the flashback....kazehaya is really best boi. he is THE SWEETEST

such a good-natured boy, he ran back just to check that kurumi was really ok as he sensed something was up. he's always so understanding (even when she confessed, his first reaction was to run up to her & apologise, it's like he knew how much internal turmoil she has gone thru) and kind. she's right, he really is different. seeing him through her eyes like that, i almost feel bad for her. of course, her manipulative actions were awful, but i guess she just tried to hold on to him, in her own ways....

seeing her crying like that & confessing to him, i felt like a huge weight has been lifted off of her. i'm sure one day she will find someone else & it will be mutual, and she can be her true self around him.

when he told her he likes someone else already, the framing here was lovely!

such a cute ending♡

Finally we know why Kurumi never confessed to Kazehaya before. The conclusion to this arc was quite satisfying. Kurumi and Sawako are rivals now!

Enjoyed the episode,

the rejection seemed pretty smooth and decent to me :) If it was cold then she would have deserved it anyway. No empathy is needed. Yea there was a flashback of her in middle school, but that just shows how she hasn't changed ever since. She pulled girls away from guys attention, the girls did it back to her and now she does it again victimizing Sawako.

They really managed to capture the atmosphere of a party in the last scene. I get why people rate this so highly now.

Kurumi's even more of a bitch to me after that flashback though. Many schoolyard bullies genuinely don't know how much suffering they are causing their victims, half the time they look back as adults on what great larks they had with their "friend" and wonder why they don't want anything to do with them.

Kurumi, on the other hand, knows exactly how much pain her lies can cause. And yet she did it anyway.

Now the drama is over, hopefully she stops acting so two faced and apologises.
