| Some time ago I found a website that generated graphs of your MAL ratings. I found it pretty useful, as it made me re-think of the scores I gave to various anime on my list - thus widening the scores and highlighing really good titles. Unfortunately, that page stopped working recently, so I decided to make my own version of it. Then chrupky and I decided to remake it from scratch and make it the ultimate tool for MyAnimeList users. | I convert them to lowercase to prevent duplicates. I changed it to show the username you specified, while working with lowercase filenames. |

| All cache had been deleted because of a new engine. You shouldn't see any difference though. I've found a way to make it up to 3.5 times faster and download even less from MAL, but it's not implemented yet. I'm glad to see it being useful (800 views in 10 hours is something). Thank you for your opinions! edit: Okay, uploaded v3. Now it should work waaay faster - instead of downloading the list, it now compares the scores with a *secret* user, and as the compare page is definitely more lightweight, fetching it is faster. Also, if anyone cared: compared to v1, v3 stores ~30 times smaller cache. |

Storing too many of them would quickly become a problem, same as with overgrown cache. It could return an image, let the user download it and delete it afterwards, but I wanted to make it "live" and re-generate the image automatically every once in a while. The "non-live" version wouldn't be too bad though, but you'd have to visit the page, generate the image and upload it somewhere every time you needed a fresh one. If you have any ideas how to solve it then I'm all ears. |

Kinda like this? That way all the detail's in the user's individual BBCode and you don't have to keep store anything more resource-draining on your server than the 1 px graphic. |

| Yes, its main page is working, but instead of getting the image you get an XML error. http://mathesnet.de/script/MALscore/ I'll find a way to make my MALgraph generate images someday, maybe more customizable than the above MALscore's... And, damn, do you all have adblock? :P |

| MALgraph v5 is available now. Visible changes include a new 'global stats' window, comparing your mean score to global average rating and a little remake of BBCode copy window. If you see no changes then just refresh the page. I'm surprised MALgraph is visited so frequently - nearly 450 visits per day is about 45 times more I expected... I'm glad some of you find it useful! By the way, something bigger is coming... |

It can't be that MAL has only 867 users only, right? or is it like it adds only people who have visited your website.. (That must be it or I can't think of another reason.) |
