Rating system: (Based on how I feel about the media, might be harsher than others because i don't want to put basically all anime into 3 score slots)
10, 9, 8, 7 are all things i really like and would recommend, just split into categories based on how much i like it
10 - cream of the crop for me
9 - special, veery close to 10
(8 and 7 is rated because of flaws, genre bias (SoL etc.), a better/complete way to get the story [manga/ln.], or just sligtly lower enjoyment)
8 - wonderful, but on a slightly different level than 9
7 - great, i like it, but it does feel a bit less special most of the time
6 - nice, but either has bigger flaws (Death note 2nd half), did not click with me much but i see the quality (Cowboy bebop, Mod psycho, Love is war...) or just a silly show i don't care about but was funny (shikanoko)
5 - ok/decent:
totally fine showsi don't have strong opinions on (flying witch) /
good shows i got bored of while watching (Mashle, Hinamatsuri) /
shows that have good aspects like op/animation i really do not click with at all (evangelion)
4 - a bit bellow average but can still be good, the only show currently there was nice as comfort background noise, this tier would also have things with fatal flaws that cannot be ignored but have merit otherwise, or things that had an interesting gimmick but not much else
3 - either a dumb gimmick i got bored of after 1 episode, or just generally bad with one interesting part (Platinum end was not good, and the ending was kind of contrived, but at least it was interesting unlike the rest of the show), 3 is also the spot for any very bad projects made with passion
2 - very bad shows that are at least not hurting anyone, they might have had little passion behind them, but they don't seem like 100% product of management forcing something for profit, there is at least a drop of value somewhere
1 - criminally bad shows that actively harm humanity, i hope to never find one like this, some ai propaganda might qualify for this
Also if I might not even bother to put things on the list sometimes if it's a trash isekai or something
