I absolutely love that dead look in Honda's eyes; it makes my heart beat so fast.
I actually really enjoyed the flashbacks of the episode; it really takes you back and remind you how good Major is even though it's almost like the same thing every season.

Go Hornets. Fuck Toshiya.

I loved this episode and the latest episodes too..it feels like it's finally major again cuz I was getting kinda tired of side stories about the other players, and of course I love it when goro pushes himself and gets hurt..sadistic me

The coach demonstrates once again how incompetent he is.
Running to Goro and asking "what has happened?". A good coach would see it already much earlier that Goro was at his limit.
Is the coach's role only baby-sitting? I ask if the creators of the series know anything about sports at all? Not only from TV but from real experience. It seems - no, not to have a consultant or something.... The show is so poor. It can't be major league. Looks more like a match for 8-year old children.

Ah, this show still knows how to pull at me to watch while it gets dramatic while I know that Goro is being an idiot...again.

I still wanna bash him in the head for doing this again. *sigh*

Glad to see it followed the manga truthfully for the most part. And looks like the same goes for next episode as well.

there was no one in the bullpen so he can't sub him anyway, that would mean suicide if relief pitchers don't warm up And no one on the team other than Keane knows about his condition

great episode, but i only have one doubt.A major S7 is a must right now, this season wont be able to finish the world series, and goro after the majors. i want to know what happens between goro and kaoru. i hope they dont finish it here like most animes do.

That is probably right, on this matter. Why are you quoting me? Your reply does not have to do any thing with my unhappiness about character of the coach. He is still a ......
Why is Goro playing in such a shitty team, where the coach does not know or mean anything? The coach brings no value to the team. Could you imagine how Goro would have played if he had a good coach in his team?

Once again Goro completely tramples on that fine line between guts and idiocy. But damn, it always make for high drama, emotion and inspiration. I loved how they showed the reactions of everyone in Japan who knows him best. Sorta a collective "uh oh, there he goes again..." He'll always be like this until his arm falls off and they're unable to reattach it.

Its been awhile since the crowd has specifically cheered for Goro. I mean, no wonder he over exerted himself so much. He has never been one to let down those who are counting on him, and the flashbacks were a helpful reminder of this. This was a great episode because we got to see the characteristics of Goro that we have grown to love throughout the last five seasons.

Damn Goro must have really been hurting if he couldn't even talk. I don't remember ever seeing him in such a bad condition through past seasons. I guess season 3 would be the closest. Anyway, despite Goro playing past his limit from an injury again I rather enjoyed this game. It wasn't real exciting or interesting like other end of season games, but just a fun watch overall.

Holy crap he had those eyes again. Bad things happen when those eyes come out. That said he actually walked off the mound, I give him mad props for at least being able to consciously walk off the mound before collapsing.

That said, champagne party at the hospital, Goro absolutely deserved that.

It's always so intense, it looks like he's about to die. This was yet another amazing display of Goro's limit breaking pitching, it was really emotional especially with the flashbacks. Goro left the mound a hero. It's saddening to think there's only 5 full fledged episodes of Major left.

Loved this episode. The strange thing about this series, is I LOVE the flashbacks, they happen often but I still love them. They fit so well with the mood and what's being said. Anyways, I'll love this episode even more if Goro escapes this with no permanent damage. Too bad he couldn't get the record though, that's twice that he didn't get a record cause of essentially an injury (will call the Yips an injury).

Gorou will always be Gorou I guess, but at least he seems to have matured enough to leave the mound on his own when he really does hit the wall of his limits. In fact, it does seem he would have left even sooner had the relief pitchers been warmed up.

It was interesting to see even Keane come around.

Only five episodes left? It feels like there's way too much to wrap up in such a short amount of time. x.x

Champagne fight in the hospital ? Best teammates ever xD

Wonder how much his injury will influence his career from now on.

This fucking show! It always knows how to rebound :).

Just an awesome episode and Goro is truly a man. Yeah he is 19 and risking his career, but at least for now, he truly believes leaving everything on the field, no matter the aches and pains, is totally worth it. The only reason he got to where he is was putting his entire body on the line. Had he been complacent (which he was half the season), he'd just be every other jabroni.

just when i was about to say goro does as always they showed it in flashback xD

when they said goro had almost break the record for strikeout in the major league i told myself that this is also will be fitting end like in S3 for goro to break all the limits though losing considered as a good ending as well, but goro were unexpectedly took it for himself and got off the mound, really liked this, and though the match could end up like this murdoch gave a homerun, so the hornets won.

now there's only two episodes, i really don't think this should cause goro to stop being southpaw pitcher, but i believe it wil take a while for goro to continue pitching.

Dammit after failing the no hit no run at his Major League debut, I kinda hoped he would be able to break the 10 consecutive strike-outs record. Even though its somewhat of a repeat with Goro pushing through his injury and inspiring his teammates, still awesome to see.
