Well, all the main cast got dressed up for this episode for this coffee shop. It's a celebration of this season imo and a perfect fit for a season finale.

Such a cute way to end the show. It seems Azusa didn't change at all this season and is still the energetic witch girl everyone came to know. Not that she needed a change anyway. Feels like they never needed to do anything too wild for this episode but having everyone get together one more time is the way to go.

Wholesome ending again. Festivals are always a good way to end the story.

Anyway, this wasn't exactly as good as the first season, but it definitely had its moments.

Gonna miss my cutie pies. <3

Flatta's dance festival, to which Azusa and her family has done their coffee shop last year, attempting to do the same would be a no-brainer since it's so popular. But going big for The Witch's House instead seems like a better chance, especially with the increase in manpower. And so it is, the coffee shop will be open for another festival rendition, with Laika being of the most appeal. Of course, having the entire cast altogether in the Witch's House is a given, but it's Sandra stepping up to the plate and helping everyone out, also making a splash with customers.

The festival right in the heart of Flatta, and the joyous mood pours over for all, which brings a resounding end to yet another good season of the series.

Though I will admit...Season 2 is kind of a downer as compared to Season 1. Not bad, but definitely of less flare than the prequel.

I really enjoyed season 2 (I mean I'm such a big fan it would have been hard to disappoint me tbh) and I'd love to see a season 3. Whether or not it did well enough to get one, who knows, either way I am so grateful we got a season 2 in the first place when there are a lot of anime that never see one.

Glad to have enjoyed another animated season with Azusa and her family. Season 3 or not, I'll be going back to the novel very soon.

A wholesome ending to a very eventful season. New power, new friends, and new family members made Azusa's life ever more lively and bright.

Looks like the festival was a success but it's also the announcement that we will have to do without this anime again which is a shame.
It was nice we got another season tho and the girls had a lot of fun.
Some episodes where a bit random tho.
With any luck we might see more but who knows.

😢 it’s really all over ugh this season went by too quick. Gonna miss my girls so much. I love how this finale felt like a proper season wrap party with every cast member getting involved and sending off the season. Seeing everyone at the cafe was great and then the girls enjoying the festival itself warmed my heart. Idk, this show’s just such a fluffy watch that makes you instantly feel better and we’ll miss it.

People saying it wasn’t as good as the first season, but I actually liked this way more. I feel like Azusa grew significantly over the course of the season. Finding her own mother figure was probably the biggest thing that happened. She’s always been the reliable figure everyone looks up to, so I liked seeing her be able to get babied for once!

Slime 300 nen idol spin off when?!! Pekora’s idol performance was great, but those lyrics are actually kinda crazy “keep stanning me until you die” 😂 I was gonna say how messed up it was she brought Azusa on stage to sing, but Azusa ended up killing it getting even more fans! Yuuki Aoi is so talented, great performance, great season. Sad it’s over.

Decent and cute finale where we get to see pretty much everyone who played a role in the season.

Overall, I didn't like this season as much as the first one.
It is partly due to the fact that there are now so many secondary characters that I'm having difficulties to keep up (don't get me wrong they're all fun, I just get lost sometimes about who is who), but also to the fact that the episodes felt very much like 'your adventure of the week' this season (first season was also like that to an extent, but there were more overarching plotlines in it I believe).

Now then, the show is still cute, the VAs are still doing a fantastic job and I can't exactly complain too much about a season where Yukari Tamura (pecora's va) get to sing in two episodes :)

Coffee Shop return and summer festival. Misjantie and all kids help organize festival. Love there cute maid outfit. "We demons have taken on the role of livening up the dance festival."
Azusa yelling at her friends "So you're getting staff privileges!" Momma Yufufu show up, cute quote "Your momma is happy to help you anytime, okay?" Nintan "Numbered ticket rules are for humans. Gods have no need for them." Azusa made a cute uniform for Sandra. Azusa freak out two people flying in midair "A competitive card game that uses ancient magic."
Azusa friends attend concert, Kuku friend sings a cute song. Audience wants Azusa to sing: "Please sing, Great Witch!" Idol singer Azusa know how to sing well.
Looking forward to Season 3 next year 2026.

A huge downgrade from season 1.

Part of it's charm was the VA cast doing cute onomatopeya sounds, and whoever was in charge of season 2 took them away. The musicals were also a huge appeal in my books in season 1, Falfa & Shalsha kiddie song, Rosalie doomer song, but more important Flatorte's small guitar solo gave her a huge boost in her personality (she pretty much felt like the meme girl that needed an excuse to get naked). The thing I looked forward the most since the season 2 announcement was a follow up on Kuku, who in my opinion was the most interesting support character with a great background story and the dichotomy of playing her own music despite everyone hating it, or playing music that everyone enjoyed (we obviously got the result on this last episode) and my massive gripe is that we only got a couple of dialogue lines from Kuku up until this final episode.

I'm okay with the average fanservice on some characters like Halkara, but I definitely had to draw the line when the author had Sandra grow up and gave her huge knockers. I legit had to skip the rest of the episode.

I did enjoy some passages though, like befriending the egyptian spirits that allowed to give Rosalie more time under the spotlight, and most Sandra oriented episodes. A couple of the new side cast characters were fun too, like the neet catgirl.

It's a shame because even though season 1 might had been a run of the mill budget sized CGDCT show, it had that special charm that made it distinctive and memorable for me.

And so we end with a coffee shop and festival singing.

Well much like the first season I found this show cute and watchable, if largely forgettable. For instance, if season one had a coffee shop episode I already forgot it. Sandra was a welcome addition to the cast. I sort of hoped that we'd get the goofy dancing animation from the OP incorporated into the concert at the end of this episode somehow, but oh well. Solid 6/10, I'd watch more.

That looks like a enjoyable festival to visit. The one currently in my city is way too crowded every single year.

Enjoyable season again. Had some highs, but overall I didn't like it quite as much as S1.

End cards are like this are always nice

Actually, the "original stuff" in each season is from later cafe stories. The Season 1 finale is a combination of the first two cafe stories (especially considering how the original cafe story takes place before Rosalie joins in the LN/manga). Meanwhile, the Season 2 finale has the first half be based on the third cafe story (while incorporating the "tsundere Sandra" bit from the second cafe story), while the second day of the festival (Pecora handling the event) takes place after the second cafe story in both the LN and Manga.

To better understand what I'm saying in terms of the LN versions of the story:

First Cafe Story: Takes place before Rosalie arrives; only involves Azusa, Laika, Halkara and the twins.

Second Cafe Story: Takes place after the daughters go to school (LN)/Yufufu turns Azusa into a child again (manga); rest of the family joins the cafe crew; Beelzebub and Pecora help out in the cafe; the festival is demon-based.

Third Cafe Story: The cafe is streamlined (with a ticketing system and the pine spirit helping out); the Egyptian ghosts and the Gods are customers.

The girls were cute in their maid uniforms, funny how the gods just invaded the cafe without a ticket lol.

And a pretty fun festival with the side characters having their own stuffs, Pecora using the opportunity to closer the relationship between demonkind and humans, what a great demon queen.

Good season overall, Sandra's cute and it's nice to have the Demons onscreen more, wished we got more Laika focused episodes tho.

Masterpiece, and yes great final episode for the end of the season, when all the characters are shown, Azusa is left to follow the example of one alchemist and take Beelzebub as her wife and yes Curalina's pictures are as good as always.

@Serafos Yeah I agree, it wasn't a bad watch but still a little step down from Season 1.
I like to watch some anime, I like to talk about some anime, I dislike wars over some anime, but more than anything I love to live my life, anime is an enjoyable and entertaining addition onto my life but it's not my whole life.

A fine wrap up to the season nothing really special.

I think overall quality wise and just kinda overall this season was trash compared to the first, but it wasn't bad just plain. It had some strong points such as Sandra and Pecora. Sandra was a very good introduction and blended in nicely to the family and I mean Idk I just like Pecora she's a really silly and fun character so she helped hold this season together for me.

The water mother was also a good addition (forgot her name) but other than that it was a fairly dull season.

@TnAdct1 Maybe I was overselling what I meant here, I do know that all the material was combining multiple cafe stories, but as a result the episodes had to be stitched together with it's own ideas and plot elements. For example I'm pretty sure up to volume 14 of the LN there has been no talk of a permanent Witch's House cafe as mentioned at the start of the episode this might come later in the LN but I don't remember reading it in any chapter up to where I am in the LN.

What I was trying to suggest is that combing parts of multiple chapters make the stories differ from the source material and as a result it feels like it is it's own thing.

Decent finale to what has been a fine second instalment to the series, imo.

Return of the coffee shop and nice costumes but the best segment’s got to be the Demon King herself, lol. She definitely operates at her own pace.

So they hopened the coffee shop again, guess I would have preferred seeing a new idea for the last episode, but oh well.

Season 2 was not horrible, but it never reached the enjoyment of season 1 in a single episode. Too many focus on side characters, that horrible "mama" woman and the below average animation certainly didn't help either. 6/10

The dance festival sure has a storied history. I guess from the villages POV the witches houses is a precious source of extra income for them. The uniforms sure looked cute. Laika's especially. They sure ended up with quite the number of familiar faces lol. Sandra was just the thing the house needed to enhance their sales. Sandra and Pecora fighting over Azusa was adorable. The festival sure was a lotta fun. Great opportunity to hear Aoi Yuki sing after so long as well. Beautiful end to the season.

Great fan-service seeing everyone in their maid outfits. Sandra looked adorable! It was so nice to see all the new characters return for this final episode. Pecora is definitely the best idol in the anime. And Azusa singing to close the season? Perfect ending.

So we’re ending in a similar way to the first season with the festival and the cafe, it really took me back to the original finale so I really liked it for that, and this time we had the additions of the new characters we’ve met over the course of the season to make it even more fun, Sandra tried to resist at first but she came around. And ngl, I wasn’t expecting them to address ticket resellers and scalpers lol, I just came back from being gone to concerts over the weekend so that was kinda surreal, and if you know anything about concerts in this day and age, scalpers and resellers are rife when it comes to getting tickets.

And speaking of concerts, the performances at the end were really sweet, especially Azusa who even got me feeling emotional, it just hit me all at once that I’m saying goodbye to these familiar characters again, it feels like yesterday we had a whole season ahead of us but now it’s already over, thank you Azusa and the gang for the good times once again!

And that was it for the long awaited 2nd season of Slime 300, it was one of my favorite and comfort shows of Spring 2021 and it is again here in Spring 2025. Yeah I think I can say this season wasn’t quite as good as Season 1 for a few reasons, one being the vocal sound effects being gone, or the stories being a bit too focused on side characters, but those are very light complaints for me. As long as I get more of Azusa and her wonderful family, and whatever wacky characters and situations they get involved with along the way, I’m satisfied, and that’s exactly what this season was. OP and ED were also very good ones, cute and fitting for the show, I think I prefer Season 1’s because of nostalgia but these are great follow-ups. And I know it’s already a miracle we got a Season 2, but I’m all for a 3rd season of this one day, I could watch these girls go on silly adventures for many more episodes so I hope it might be a possibility, but at the same time I’m very thankful we got two seasons of content with these characters, I enjoyed both very much!

There was genuinely no way you could've ruined this episode but they somehow managed to do that not only for the second half but for the entire 2nd season. I've never had such a vitriolic reaction to a sequel with the only exception being the unspeakable 2nd season of Powerpoint Neverland.

This season did not have its highs and lows, it was basically chill the whole way, and they had like 3 episodes that had some sort of singing involved (what?). It also just seems like the author is doing whatever he wants to do, it's just random things on top of random things, but it can be fun/ny for the most part.

+If they keep adding more girls to the story, this was likely to have been the last season, cuz if they do, it'll probably have the same problems as 100 gfs.

I'm obsessed with Pecora's song, literally. Especially the part that goes, "Cuteness in full bloom! Everyone's obsessed with Demon Lord Pecora!" The mix of rapping and pop singing is just splendid. Yukari did a great job voicing Pecora, it’s pure cuteness overload.

Pecora-glazing aside, it was a solid finale. Not sure if there's going to be a third season or not, but if there is, I'll definitely be waiting for it. I still can't get over that "breath of fresh air" vibe. If a second season happens, I'm absolutely watching it. From now on, I'm tuned in!
