| Hell of an episode and lived up to the hype. This was the most intense episode in terms of pure actoin. Goku going SSJ4 takes the cake and he went all out, not holding back. I think it's also hype worth seeing how far this episode pushed Goku in his kid form. Loved the soundtrack used for this particular episode too. Season to end in 2 more episodes but is worth waiting for this one. The dragon balls got used too! |

| I mean, it was already known that this was gonna be the special episode, but after that cliffhanger of confirmed ssj , yeah man, hype was off the roof. Off the bat, animation looks a lot better than usual. But even with ssj3, not much could be done. Hell, even with Duu and his chocolate wasn't enough.... so what's the next best thing? SSJ4!!!! Not GT SSJ4 though lmoa. Although, yeah, it looks like it. GT had dark-ish hair and yellow pants so. So I guess that mean just take it like DB minus Broly and Bardock lol. But yeah, form aside, WHAT THE FUCKKKKK THE ANIMATION WAS FUCKING INSANEEEEEEEEE. Goku was also going fucking insane. JUST STRAIGHT BEATING DOWN ON GLORIO LIKE THE GOAT HE IS. But nah, wouldn't be a DB fight without the usual jumping's, and so the whole gang pulled up to go crazy, and defend Goku for a bit there while he charges up ONE OF, IF NOT THE SICKEST KAMAHAMAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA IN THE SERIES..... .... But that wasn't enough to defeat Glorio ofc, there's still two more episodes left after all. And if you thought he wasn't bight enough already as is, then yeah bro, this dude is the size of a fucking skyscraper now. So the litteral last resort is all that's left, use the Dragon Balls and summon this Porunga with what looks like coloring of the Ultimate Shenron.... WHO GLORIO TRIES TO FIGHT??? This absolute DUMBASS xD Definitely was a special episode, that's for sure. I don't want it to happen, but a fusion will probably happen next episode sadly... sigh. |

| DB fans today died from peak fiction, after that SSJ4 fight. Neva awakening Goku potential like Piccolo had in the Super Hero movie. Thinking about, I don't remember someone trying to punch the dragon. |

| Well well, they actually did it. SSJ4 Goku. The fights and animation were crazy this episode and lived up to the hype. Next episode is called betrayal but I bet Glorio is betraying Arinsu and he actually wished for everyone to revert back to their normal size/age. |
| HOLY SHIT WHAT AN EPISODE!! Thank you Toriyama sensei, it’s almost as if he knew this would be his last project and wanted to canonise some of the things fans have wanted for YEARS. SSJ3 Vegeta and then SSJ4 GOKU?!!!! Cmon this series has been fucking incredible!! This entire episode was just a pure sakuga fest with my jaw on the floor from Goku’s transformation onwards. But holy shit how strong is Gomah?? Literally broke decades worth of power scaling in one episode. Him pushing SSJ4 Goku and coming back bigger and stronger means he’s on par with Baby, Super 18 he’ll even omega shenron. It’s unthinkable that much power was on buddy’s belt for the entire season and he traded it for a damn hat lmao Lol at Purunga flicking Gomah away like a damn mosquito, shows you how strong the dragon is That last word Glorio used had “child” in it so he probably turned them back into adults, no? Can’t wait for next ep People crying about retcons and shit have to understand that Toriyama just didn’t have this shit all planned out 30,20 or even 10 years ago. Any long running show is gonna have changes like this especially with all the cool movies they’ve had over the years. Just be glad and enjoy shit we’ll figure out how it all slots in later lol. Give us Janemba and Cooler next! |

| They did it. The crazy sobs finally did it. They made SSJ4 canon! I wish this was a surprise. There were so many screenshots from Latam groups that shared around frames of Super Saiyan 4 Goku that I couldn't tell if they were real or not. A child version of SSJ4 Goku definitely would've been a surprise for me... if an anime news article didn't completely spoil it by putting it in the thumbnail hours before the episode came out in English... Oh well. At least the new design of SSJ4 Goku looks unique. They didn't copy-paste it straight from GT and they didn't reinvent it either. It feels fresh while the GT version remains stand-alone. I remember when Super was airing so many people wanted them to make SSJ4 canon already. Just like they made Legendary Super Saiyan canon through Kale by calling it Super Saiyan Berserker, some said they should bring back SSJ4 by naming it Super Saiyan Primal or something. It was a neat idea. But now comes the conflicting canon with Super. If Goku already had SSJ4 (or whatever it will be called here) then why didn't he use it a single time in Super? Especially in the beginning against Beerus? Well, the simple answer is that he probably didn't need to. As SSG and SSGSS probably made that form irrelevant. And with how SSJ3 works, SSJ4 would probably take an insane amount of energy or something. Tho Daima might explain it with something else like saying that it got locked. Or it might completely gloss over it. Either way, this was an exciting episode. The animation was crazy. It's pretty obvious which wish Glorio made if you paid attention to the subs. So, the next episode will probably be amazing. |

| If anything summed up Toriyama's last decade of work, it was this episode. Copying other peoples work or rehashing his own. Dragon Ball can only exist by playing on the same tired tropes they have been using since DBZ. |

| I can finally sleep peacefully knowing Goat Toriyama finally made SSJ4 cannon now only thing remaining is the fusion of goku and vegeta in SSJ4 by the bug (it won't be vigito & it won't be Gogeta either) it'll be a new form and I'm eagerly waiting for it |

| It was kind of neat for me given I skipped GT and was finally able to see a version of this form outside of pictures and clips, but overall the episode was still kind of underwhelming. Maybe it was because I had been spoiled that something big was going to happen in episode 18? So, it killed the element of surprise. Maybe it was the Glorio allegiance crap that dragged at the end of the episode? Hard to say. I assume they'll get their adult forms back in 19. Ideally I'd like the old Namkeian to toss Vegeta a bone and get both those guys in their SS4 forms. Maybe eat the fusion bug or do the stupid dance and finish Gomah off. Last thing I want to see before Daima concludes is Vegeta not getting that form because then the community is going to be annoying, lol. Whatever. |

@HyperSonic1271 thats just hindsight bias at work here by that logic vegeta should use ssj2 equal power to goku ssj3 in his battle against the tamagami
