| Seeing Maria back and taking on a more active role again was a sight for sore eyes. We got a sports festival epsiode and obviously, Runa participated with Ryuuto being involved too. However, with Maria also being back, things got awkward this episode as expected. They even had her in a that sports festival outfit. But oh well, the main catch was still Runa in the spotlight. |

| Wouldn't be a romcom without the traditional sports festival episode.. Luna volunteered as a cultural festival committee member to push forward her "Friendship Plan" with Maria. She roped in Ryuto, and the three of them became responsible for pamphlet distribution. However, Luna and Maria's opinions clashed, while Lute and Maria found themselves getting excited discussing games. On the day of the sports festival, with this awkward dynamic in place, an unexpected event unfolds. It's positive to note that the exchange between Ryuto and Maria at the train station alleviated any unease Ryuuto had been experiencing around her. However, the rooftop conversation doesn't seem likely to contribute positively. It appears that things might become awkward once more between the two of them. I don’t know how to feel about Maria tbh. |

| Sports festival is basically a must for every romcom anime, and this one is no exception either. Runa was lucky enough to pair up with Ryuuto and they even won the match together. Happy outcome there. I don't know what else to say about Maria again, it looks like she's still harbouring her resentment against Runa as expected. |

| As typical of a festival, having Ryuto and his buds around to help Runa get back with Maria, The Friendship Project is back in session. In this case, it's being part of the pamphlet committee to decide the event for the culture festival, though a rather disconnect between sisters and Ryuto because of their interests. Even Sekya had his own issues, though not as bad as Ryuto is facing right now, which he has to play matchmaking to ensure resonance between sisters, which now they are total opposites. The truth about Maria, even after the divorce and resentment to Runa that she has tried to break both Ryuto and Runa, she stopped forcing herself at one point, and eventually knows that he's been keeping a distance from her even in the same cram school. The Sports Day event comes first before their event, it's quite the typical popular event, but when Runa's mother comes along, Maria goes into hiding, because she eventually confessed to him, which also eventually forced him to lean on Maria's idea for the culture festival. Oh boy, Ryuto is in a crossroads here...he can't even lie about not wanting to accept his own girlfriend's idea for once. |

| I knew that Runa should've left Maria alone instead of forcing herself and Ryuto to join the pamphlet committee (or whatever its called). This may be an unpopular opinion but it looks like Maria and Ryuto have more in common than Ryuto and Runa but Maria was the one that rejected Ryuto previously so I'm still indifferent to her. Also, it doesn't help Ryuto's cause when everyone knew he was lying about picking the pamphlet and finally admitted to liking Maria's version more. Anyway, I'm thinking that Runa is unhappy with what Maria said on the rooftop and will probably bring it up at some point but she kind of brought this upon herself. |
| Well we knew that Maria and Runa on the committee would lead to some juicy drama and boy we got that today. Maria’s unresolved trauma rearing its ugly head. I do feel bad for her having to change her last name and everything while Runa got to stay in relative luxury, but it’s not like Runa set that up. Blame the court system if anything. I liked seeing opposites collide with their taste in videos. Runa is in to fashionable content creators while Maria is into Let’s plays which is pretty cool. Honestly, seems like if Maria were in a better place mentally and had been at the school before Runa, she and Ryuto would’ve made a better couple. Similar interests and taste in design. Cat’s out of the bag with Ryuuto going to K prep. Turns out he wasn’t as sneaky as he thought he was if Maria already knew this lol. He did all that crawling on the ground for nothing The day of the sports festival arrives and we get a really cute scene with Ryuuto and Runa finishing the race together. Of course with Runa and Maria’s mom showing up there was bound to be drama and we got that. The rooftop scene was really good. But idk why Maria thought their mother wouldn’t interact with Runa at all when coming to the festival? Like I get she’s insecure but that’s still your mother’s daughter too lol. Runa knowing how Maria feels now is gonna make things interesting. She’s already put two and two together and understands Ryuuto was not being honest about the flyer designs out of consideration for her feelings.. this is gonna be fun |

| Looking from all three perspectives, I have to lean towards Maria in this situation. Her personality and actions reflect what she has been through unlike Runa who slightly overreacts every time even though she is well aware of, and acknowledges, everything. On the other hand, Ryuto is your generic main protagonist who just doesn't improve on anything. He keeps repeating the same mistakes and chooses to remain oblivious. So long story short, Maria for the win. At least, she exhibits a tad bit of character development. (She feels like an actual human being at the very least) A great example of gyaru "done right" would be Kitagawa Marin. Moreover, Runa just feels like Marin's empty husk with a few out of the box touches that are completely unnecessary  |

| Just when I thought Maria was about to be somewhat redeemed into a bearable character, she starts acting up again by gatekeeping a mutual mother?! The show is trying to give a proper explanation to her behavior in the form of a complicated family history, but the writing is honestly so cheap and atrocious that nothing holds weight anymore. The character dynamics feel so unenthusiastic and unnatural I find it extremely hard to even root for the main couple at this point. Ryuto is so scared of offending his girlfriend he has to suck up to her on every occasion, and once he finally says what he actually thinks, the gullible Runa feels instantly betrayed. This isn't a healthy relationship – y'all need to get some boba and talk your insecurities out. On the other hand, Akari and Ijichi have caught my attention. Their little moments during the past couple episodes were pretty sweet! I could see them getting along as fellow stream enthusiasts even if they're interested in totally different subjects, haha. It could also make for a good character arc for Ijichi to get over his dumb "normies are enemies" mindset once and for all, but I doubt the writer would dare to do anything that satisfying... |

| I liked this episode. It's common for every school rom-com to have a festival episode and I thought it was good. Only issues with it is the logic with Maria. I don't understand how her mother talking to her twin sister makes her feel bad, like that's her daughter too. Also Maria confessing again was weird, that was just to add more drama I guess. Last thing was the ending, Ryuuto, tried to lie but it made it worse. Like dude, it's a poster, pick one. I know you wanna agree with Runa but this is meaningless. Anyways, can't wait for next week. |

| I guess that was a try to make us feel pity for Maria. To be fair, I can see why she's behaving that way. Good thing that the reasons to dislike her keep outweighing that xD (still think some users are a bit too harsh on her) I'm less tolerant of Ryuuto being such a people pleaser. |

Runa already knows that Ryuuto's first crush was Maria, as well as the fact that he would never do anything to purposefully hurt her and everything in his power to show how much he loves her. Why does she still think he would cheat on her? If that isn't what she's thinking, then why the hell is she upset? Because Maria still loves Ryuuto? That's just next level petty considering she knows that Ryuuto rejected Maria before. |

| I still hate Kurose for what she did, but I must say I'm on her side here, she is trying to distance herself from this cringe ass couple and they are trying to push themselves to be their friend, that shit must be so fkng uncomfortable for her. wtf was that scene at the end? ARE WE REALLY GONNA GET DRAMA OVER A FKNG PHAMPLET??? THIS PLOT IS SO BAD I SWEAR. Good to know that Akari is actually a good and chill girl, she seems more like the superiority-only and evil gal (since she was like "ugh" when she knew Ryuuto was Runa's boyfriend), I like her more this way ofc. And I'm glad that Ryuuto's friend didn't do anything cringe this episode, unlike Ryuuto himself, dumbass compared Runa to a fkng race car again, I wanna punch him so bad. Btw, this episode reminded me... we never knew who the fuck took that photo of Ryuuto and Kurose at the park in ep6, I always thought it was Akari (because as I said I thought she was evil and wanted him to break up with Runa somehow), but now that we know her a bit better I doubt it, so I must assume just some random mtfk decided to take and share that photo for no reason? What the fuck? How can people be ok with this? lmaooo, maybe we will find out who did it in the future but I absolutely doubt that, the writing is just that bad. |

| Kurose really need to fix her inferiority complex because she keeps making new problems and dragging people around her because they care. She can at least tell Shirakawa about it. But if its too hard to fix it or tell the truth, get better at lying or acting so people won't try to "help" you, you can then keep your problems to yourself. |

| Pretty obvious that the guy from Ryuto's cram school is Nikol's ex. Seems like a more interesting character than Ryuto's mob friend, which gives me even more reason to say Nikol is too good for that dude. |
