| Watched the pre-air through Kadokawa's YouTube channel (no longer available). MADKID's OP is fine, though Nenne's ED is good. Well, this was surely the post Hero vs. Demon Lord shtick all over again with Uzaki-chan's Naomi Oozora being the Demon Lord, defeated and revived 10 years later, with her secretary Zenia dressed like an actual schoolgirl, coupled with the school swimsuit of all things. But of all things, the Demon Lord is worried about Max the Hero, and what is his condition 10 years after, which Zenia tries desperately to dissuade her from meeting him. And aside from the regret, her going to meet Max...in the laziest and most lax of ways. The Max of 10 years after...isn't what the Demon Lord herself envisioned how he would be, and ends up cleaning his place, aside from finding a sex pumping tool and a computer. The exploits of Max the Hero 10 years before, things have changed so quickly for him, even as much as the Demon Lord finding scathing reports about him, from affairs to outright lies that made him insufferable. Missing the Max of 10 years past, the Demon Lord misses that moment, but why bother when his attitude sucks now, which drives a wedge between him and his companions. Seeing him do his fapping session, this is how low Max the Hero is now, despite his strength still being there, and ultimately, he's done playing the part of the Hero, where he is easily replaceable. But the Demon Lord will not let him off that easily, cooking a hotpot for him to his sorry state, while being in the human realm looking after him. An alright start, this has potential to pass or fail on either spectrum. |

| This anime looks like a meme with Maou and the "demon lord" gimmicks. Obviously, it's not to be taken seriously but still...I had to face palm myself a few times this episode. Animation quality looks mediocre and comedy is a mixed bag. I'll watch more of this anime but yeah, expectations and creativity on this show are bankrupt on creativity at the moment. Oh and the random fan service shots lol... |

| i didn't think id like this one but still decided to give it a shot and im glad i did, because it surprisingly was better than i thought. hope the rest of the show keeps this same vibe |

| well there are a few anime that shows us the aftermath of defeating demon lord like im quitting heroing which makes this rare but it shows us that the hero is forgotten which is not unique but the setting is unique so wonder will it be better than im quitting heroing or not |

| This started with some nice angles. Ngl it was that girl on cover that picked my attention in the first place anyway. I have very mixed feeling about demon lord's current form. And looking at ED it seems he (?) gets "bigger"? I might be mistaken here tho. |

| The first episode had a strong impact and really brought home the comedy and tone of the show. I really enjoyed it, and man, what a great secretary that lady is full of assets. For some reason, the art style reminds me of SAO mixed with early dragon ball. |
| Jahy-sama, but instead of that one's wholesome direction, Lv 1 Maou seems to go for dirty comedy. It was a pretty funny first episode. I kinda hope it keeps being pure comedy and doesn't start any serious plot. |
Wooooh look at the red carpet, it was maintained perfectly.....  I also like that demon lord, reminds me of the demon lord from Mushoku Tensei and the hero's building reminds me of saitama's previous house. You're a little young for this kind of things.  Ps: the demon lord became the Hero's wife |

| Nice intro scene. I'd call that a captivating start for this kind of show. Both Hero and Demon Lord way past their prime living together, I fuck with that. Maou gives me exorbitantly strong Jahy vibes. Oozora's voice was a must to amplify the amusement to the max. Zenia's outfit speaks for itself, they could've saved themselves to cast a seiyuu. |

| Naomi Oozora voicing another little gremlin is just great haha. The fanservice looks quite good. Zenia's ass... Good lord. Thank you, Zenia, for the outfit and thank you anime camera angles. This was a pretty fun first episode, can see this show being one of my favorites of the season. Looking forward to more. |
