Maybe she isn't the strongest in the group but she put up a decent fight; her opponents have some strange abilities though... And this episode also really shows a difference in firepower imo between the two groups. The blood, sweat, and action was pretty good. Poor Maria D: |

| Why does Maria no longer fit with gungnir as ss2? It makes her suffer injury. Hibiki was crushed by 2 dolls. Look like they are disadvantage against new enemies. |

| I hate Hibiki so fucking much, I don't even want to see her dead. I want to see her broken after watching her friends die in front of her. I've taken 6 points off my score for this series all thanks to her. |
| I just noticed (cause they emphasized the hell out of it) that Hibiki uses TRON while Maria uses ZIZZL at the end of their holy activation. Which means tron is for the rightful user and zizzle isn't, I think kanade and miku used zizzl too. Hibiki only took 4ep. to snap out of it :O I thought it would take longer :) LMFAO when she took the gungir and said it was hers XD even thou it was Maria's and she gave it to her last season :P The action was GOOD :O berserk? maybe the process for advanced gears makes you berserk if you don't have the spirit.  |

| Hibiki was usefull for like 30 seconds of the entire episode aaaaand got mental broken again. Must suck for Hibiki lately huh? This anime just defines being a shitty character to a new level! |
| I give Maria props she put up a good effort and did avoid them all getting killed. Really that was the most that someone could accomplish in her position. Like Kirika and Shirabe she just can't use the gear to its full extent without linker. Plus even Tsubasa and Chris who don't have that issue couldn't beat their respective opponents. |
| Hibiki's hesitation would have felt much more fitting if this was still season one. Whatever, at least it was "resolved" by referencing past seasons (lol). Hype for the upgrades. Perhaps a second version of their transformation. |
| Well, Hibike got over her slump only to be utterly defeated. Maybe she even died. That fall would have been enough to kill her, I wonder what made her fall so slowly. |

| Eh, this is fairly tame. Even /m/ got worked up about it, and they're the reasonable ones. To be fair though, its been 2-3 years since the original and G aired, and the writing team didn't do a particularly great job on the plot, so its not too surprising that people forgot about it. Heck, I don't think it was handled particularly well here either, but I watch symphogear for the JUSTICE and music anyway |
| Hibiki's character always confuses me. Sometimes she's my fav and sometimes she's annoying af. And just finally when I got to see her in action again (Fav fighting style and actions scenes are always hers imo) she gets totally destroyed D: Hopefully ElfNein's ignite project will power them up enough. Because they're seriously at a huge disadvantage right now. |

There is a very wide gap between not liking fighting people and refusing to fight to defend yourself on top of not being able to comprehend symphogears as being weapons. Hibiki's character isn't in line with her development so far, she's been backtracked to before season 1. She didn't want to fight Chris in season 1, but she was ready to defend herself and fight back so she'd have her side heard. She fought Fine in the season finale, who was still technically human. She didn't want to fight the new trio in season 2, but she was ready to at least use her gear. Heck without a block by Kirika an Shirabe she would have hit Ver with her symphogear, she sure didn't know the writers were going to block that attack. To save Miku, she was ready to fight and defend herself. They couldn't find a good route for her character so they basically forced her to have a character dilemma that didn't make sense. In no way was she a pacifist who didn't see the symphogear as a weapon and wouldn't even be able to activate her gear to defend herself and those around her. Criticizing the bizarre treatment of her character isn't hating on Hibiki. She's better than this and the story didn't need to spend time telling her what she already should have known. You don't have to like to fight people, you don't have to want to hurt others, but to save others you sometimes need to fight. |
| Nice double gungnir action in this episode! Both Maria and Hibiki were awesome! Miku's such a great friend. She helped Hibiki remember the reason why she sings ^^ That red doll enemy is pretty crazy. She reminds me of that enemy in Sailor Moon who pretends that her doll has a toothache and proceeds to solve the problem by ripping its head off o_o Wow I actually thought Hibiki defeated that red doll but unfortunately it was just an illusion, and she ended up getting her gear destroyed. But then again, how could it be symphogear without a plot twist at the end of each episode? xD |

| Maria + Gungnir Hibiki was awesome... at least till she lost (it had to happen eventually). I really wish they'd find an excuse to gear-up Miku again :( ... why are people complaining about plot holes in Symphogear... it's Symphogear! |

| Amaizng!!!! Man what an episode!! Seeing Maria on Black Gugnir Form is awesome!!!!! I miss this form!!!! Shame she's having a hard time dealing with the recoil damage. Though seeing her all bloody in the eyes and mouth reminds me of Kanade and her sister Serena! Shame Ma'm died :( Still i hope Maria and others will keep on fighting. Man just as when Tsubasa says Hibiki can win, she instantly gets owned like that. No offense to her, but i always hated her stubbornness and refusing to fight even though she had no problem fighting in the last season. I really can't wait for the new Symphogear!!! I hope Maria gets another black cape gugnir!! Can't wait for the next episode!! |

| I was a bit annoyed on Hibiki's attitude on this episode, especially when she grabbed back her Gungnir necklace from Maria. Damn, this is getting better! Villains who overpowered each and everyone of the good guys, and not only that...they are just minion puppets! I have a hunch on what would happen...the bad guys are waiting for the correct opportunity to get the Ignite equipment, that is why they are always retreating after they have crushed their opponents' symphogear...and maybe Carol look-a-like is in cahoots with orig Carol...hahah...this is just a hunch. 5/5. |

| Poor Carol, must be boring having to sit on that throne all day and wait for your dolls to carry out your orders. Jokes aside, i always wonder what the boss is doing in situations like this all the time. In real life, kings only went to the throne room for audiences, they had a "regular" life. Much of the time was probably taken up by paperwork (or what would be paper work today), and of course they had time "off", too. But villains are often portraited as sitting on their throne 24/7 - at least they aren't ever shown doing anything but sitting on the throne and talking to themselves about the heroes, or acutally handing out orders. Even when we know the time a mission is going to take because they talk about it, like "to avoid delays, carry this out until tomorrow morning" "impossible, it takes at least 3 days" - or whatever. They never sleep, never read, never go shopping, never talk to friends and relatives etc., unless those activities are directly related to their master plan. |
| I like this season so far, even if the antagonist is pretty underwhelming at the moment. She is basically a little girl/annoying brat, that plays with dolls and throws a tantrum if things don't go her way. |

| I liked maria stepping up to the plate when no one else good. Just like shirabe from the previous season though, I'm still annoyed with hibike's ideals of only wanting to help people. Bro you gotta hurt some people sometimes to save others... can't this anime's themes be a little bit more mature than just the standard "I want to help and save everybody" stuff? We already got tons of glorified ass shots so I'm pretty sure it's not little kids who are tuning in to watch this stuff. Maybe it's just me but sometimes the overly innocent overly righteous main character just gets on my nerves |

| Hibiki's saving Miku was really badass and stylish, and the ass kicking she (started) giving that Autoscorer was pretty hardcore. It's too bad they cheated to destroy her gear. |
