| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Man, the battle between Sabo and Admiral Fujitora was intense! That's the kind of battle animation I miss from One Piece. And even the Bartolomeo fanboy moments in this episode were hilarious as always. xD Good stuff! Luffy and Law continue climbing up the Barrier Stairs up to Level 4. And oh boy, what a long set of stairs that is... Anyone noticed the duel that's been happening between Franky and Senor Pink? It keeps getting hard-boiled than ever. xD |
| Damn the fight between Sabo & Fujitora was intense and the animation looks really good this time. I don't know why but I seem to laugh a lot at the scene where Robin says we don't mind risking our lives for Luffy when Senor Pink & Franky are spinning on their heads like what in the actual f*ck are they doing. LOL And yeah ^ their fight is getting more hard boiled. |
| I hope with this episode we can see a little bit of the complaining die down, Sabo Vs Issho is getting insane. Also, is anyone else dead after seeing that little bit of Franky Vs Senor Pink, its gone beyond hard-boiled now. |

They haven't had any appearances with major roles after that episode. |

| Got a nice dose of fanservice in the form of Rebecca; even got a nice underboob shot. How thoughtful, Toei! The fight between Sabo and Fujitora is very intense, hope to see more footage like that for the future fights in this arc. And of course we have Bartolomeo's great reactions. |

| I would say this is another good episode, mainly because of the fight between Sabo and Admiral Fujitora. I have no idea how will this fight end, I hope they would be interrupted with something because I can't see anyone losing at this point in the anime. I mean Fujitora has just became an Admiral and we haven't seen anything from him yet and Sabo had made his appearance finally. They can't just kill him just like they killed Ace. | Wtf was with this episode? The art overall with Rebecca and the Sabo scenes were outstanding! If only they keep this up.. I really really enjoyed this episode. When the art is good, even the pacing doesn't seem that horrendous. The preview also looks good, if this continues (I really doubt it). then the anime can even be better than the manga. Robin's line was awesome! I love how this arc gives her some focus. |

| Aside from the part with Rebecca and Diamante, the episode was epic. It's the nth time I've seen Sabo and Fuji collide, but it was pretty good. The ending was my favorite, dat Robin's speech. <3 Bartolomeo's fanboying is as funny as ever, loved him blocking that hit from hitting Luffy. Epic dedication. Preview looks good. It's disappointing that we won't get to the part I want yet (manga readers know what's up), but it looks like Law's about to do something, and Kyros epic action and tearful reunion coming up? XD P.S. I have no idea why does Toei make Rebecca wear this skimpy clothing. I mean, it's probably the same in the manga too, but they made it skimpier I swear. Edit: Oh yea, does it look like Fuji directed Sabo's fire fist, hoping that it would destroy the birdcage? |

| Great stuff. It seems like a lot of people didn't understand Fujitora's cryptic speech (his personality and character are what make him already one of my favourites: "It's an all-or-nothing gamble. I'm determined to bet my life on it. However, if you lose your dice, the game is over before you can even roll." Couple that with Robin's speech and you will understand the intent of the placement. The dice is Luffy. This game was started by Doflamingo, and Luffy is the "all-or-nothing" gamble of those involved, Sabo included. Of course, Fujitora points out that if you lose your dice, you cannot win, and Sabo is preventing him from getting to that dice. This doesn't make Fujitora's intent and actions completely clear, but it does answer why he isn't going all out against Sabo (which Sabo rightfully notices, an Admiral would not dally so long otherwise). |

Since I saw Naruto (again, for the 3rd time) I started to kinda distinguish between animators really quick. The first seconds of this episode, with Rebeca, I noticed how beautiful the color and textures were. So... bright. Then I started to notice the lilttle details in the animations and they were too smooth! Like, One Piece usually doesn&#039;t have that kind of details! I'm quite shocked, since I love animation in general. so much that with Naruto I had memorized most of the best episodes with their directors, even looking at compilation videos about their best works. You can imagine my orgasm in this episode! |
