| I take back what I said, those investigators are nothing but fuckers, they didn't even make her say her last words. SO Kaneki and Hinami are found out because because the girl screamed loudly. and ofc Kaneki will be responsible of Hinami's safety. |

| Well from his perspective his just killing horrible monsters that eat people so i guess he sees no reason to be merciful or even nice. I am certain that if you heard in the news about such monsters you will be yelling "kill them all" etc and praise guys like him. People yell about human criminals on how we should just kill them etc and show strong willingness for extermination and luck of mercy about such criminals and they are humans let alone a different species that eats humans. So to be honest i think you are being kind of hypocrites here. |

Ghouls kill people, and a lof of them do for fun. All ghouls are the same to non-ghouls; how will they know who the "kind" ones are? To Mado, what he just did was akin to putting down a wild bear or something of the like. You can't blame them. This series has the perfect setting to display moral ambiguity and question who's right and who's wrong. |

| and this is around the time i decided that i wanted the ghoul investigator fucks dead i've read a LOT of fucked up manga and watched a lot of equally fucked up anime, but this part has always got me |
| I don't like how the human side is potrayed as the bad guy here. Up until this point it's clear the readers are directed to root for the ghouls. I hope for better "villains" to appear or flesh out those officers as a character not just plain I-hate-monsters-cuz-I'm-human kind of bad guy. Guess I'm being impatient here. |

| That was a very painful read. The investigators' targets being a defenseless mother and child paired with their casual brutality and enjoying it only makes them more monstrous than the ghouls themselves. At least give her the privilege of saying her last words after clipping the Kagune out of her... Reading the manga feels like the first time I've experienced Tokyo Ghoul all over again. I couldn't have forgotten that much about the anime x-x |

| I don’t care about whatever “justice” these CCG guys are trying to accomplish— sure, it may work for more sadistic and murderous Ghouls like Rize. But for more innocent ones like Hinami and her mom??? If they eat human meat, then it’s out of necessity and NOT cruelty. If the investigators have been monitoring Hinami’s mom for a while, then they SHOULD’VE realized that she hasn’t killed anybody; thus there’s no reason to exterminate her unless she proves to be a legitimate threat. Paralleling the events of this chapter to our real world politics, shit hits hard. |
