| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was an intense episode. Yamamoto, Nozomi, and Ichigo's tag team attack almost worked. Kageroza is just to plothax at the moment to beat. This is the best filler arc I have ever seen in any anime, hands down. |

| The fighting is really good in this arc. Its actually a fair bit better than the fighting in some of the normal arcs. Ichigo is still pretty much a rag doll, it'll be more interesting once they get back to the main arc again in that regard. |

| This episode was a good one. I enjoyed the fight of Yamamoto against the Reigai captains. I wouldn't have thought Kagezora is so strong that he can withstand Yamamoto's and Ichigo's attack. |
| Eh... It was cool, but didn't REALLY enjoy it. Yama-jii kinda feels different for me, I even thought he was a Reigai in disguise at the beginning. The best part is the ED... Oh the SS Arc, how I miss youu. |
| Everyone forgot about poor fatty ... LOL Pretty awesome episode! It was good to see Yama-jii really unleash his full power, which just goes to show that if he'd decided to execute Nozomi himself there wasn't a damn thing the entire Gotei 13 could do about it. He was quadruple-bound by one of the most powerful kido captains around, and it still held him for just a few minutes. I'm not sure Bokudo #99 could hold him, or even that huge Sacred Beast seal the fat vizard used. Maybe if you added both of those to the four you already had on him, you might seal him for an hour or so. I was surprised that triple-team didn't manage to take down Kageroza. I'm wondering if Nozomi will supercharge her zanpakuto with the improbably long name and then fire an equally huge shot back at Kageroza. Then it'll just be the two of them bouncing the same energy back and forth until Kubo gets bored and has the bad guy lose. However they finish this rediculously OP bastard off, I can't see them stretching this arc out very much longer ... 5/5 |
| It was okay, but nothing much happened in tihs episode. Kageroze appeared, and Yama-jii, Ichigo, and Nozomi are all fighting him. 3/5 |
| A battle of reflect reiatsu attacks might be coming. Also, Ishida's reasons for forgetting Oomaeda could be A) He didn't know he was there or B) He's ugly in Ishida's opinion. |

| This episode was pretty good, but I was still hoping this was the end to the fillers. xD Guess not. >.< Ichigo looked pretty beat, so i dont know how he gets up in the next epi.. |

| It was okay. But it was pretty obvious that such low level Kidō would not be able to hold back Yamamoto. I also think Nozomi was a bit impulsive though, as if she thinks she would be able to fight all the imposters. Plus the fact that she only got her powers back not long ago. But overall, it was a good episode! c: |
| When Kageroza said "everything is still going according to plan" I was like: "f*** you Aizen... wait I mean Kageroza" same damn smug attitude. +1 great ED. Absolutely love that series. | Aside from the batlle scenes, this ep sucks. It's fragmented. First, Kon is just plain annoying. Rukia and Renji acted as if they didn't notice Yamamoto got pinned down. After the blast, the Onohana regai appeared with the two as if she got the upper hand before (she's bound before the blast!!!FCUK!) and the original is nowhere to be seen. Can't they make a better story board for this show? This arc would have been epic if they're not rushing the scenes too much, and I don't mean to drag it long but just make the transitions and reactions smooth and realistic. |

| @MasterofKido Probably Orihime restored them after the battle with Aizen was all over and done with, just like she did when she restored Grimjow's arm earlier in the series. |
| The part with Unohana was a bit weird, yeah. Like they forgot that t he regai Unohana got bound by the real one. I expected when they showed the 3 captains in split screen that Unohana would not have the violet lightning eyes and she would suprise them, but no.. Also, how come Kageroza got Nozomis power? She did not use it that moment. It only touched her zanpakuto. If that would be enough, he would already have the power of every leutnant, captain aswell as Ichigo and friends. Another thing is: Obviously he can absorb normal attacks, too. But they are not as dangerous to them as when he absorbs all that power. Especially regarding Yamamoto. They should just stab him. He has an amazing zanpakuto, but hes more or less a normal guy physically. Hes not like Aizen with all that transformations, and even Aizen did get hurt when stabbed or slashed by normal attacks. They would not even have to stab him, just cut him again and again. Minor attacks that don't matter, but it sums up. Hes not able to do copy every single cut. He does not even consider doing so most of the time. And hes especially notable to use them all at once. So it would be mostly useless to copy them anyways, so theres nothing to fear, compared to copying Ichigo and Yamamotos simultanous attack, which allowed him to use both at the same time in the first place. He would laugh at the first ten cuts, he would ignore the following ten, maybe even hudnred, but sooner or later he would notice. He would become slower, weaker, they could hit faster, harder, speeding the whole process up again and again. Did work against the head captain, too, more or less. He would probably escape, but thats not a bad thing. Ironically, Kageroza is running out of time. He had a suprise, but they know more and more, they can defeat the regai, rescue/free the other captains. You can literally see it. First it was only Icihigo and friends, them some captains, now even Yamamoto. Oh, and i wish they would stop showing off the captain, regai or not, against Yamamoto. Especially those two. They did that way back for some reason, they did it over and over now in the filler. They should fight seriously. If they can not reveal bankai, at least let them use some old techniques like Hitsugaya freezing his flames or combining Kido and shikai for greater effect like Hinamori did, or give them new stuff to play around This would make for more interesting fights, as they try something different than before, instead of them doing the same thing over and over. It was nice that Kageroza interrrupted the 3 captains seeing that it would not work. Characters should at least evolve a little, if something did not work before, don't do it over and over. And they should not suddenly forget stuff, like how to use Kido, which happend to (fake) Byakuya for some time, Fortunately, he remembered. Just in time. He still died, but that attack by Yamamoto was not fair anyways. ;) It's not like it would be boring right now, but it could be so much more. it wouldn't feel dragged out, too, if they show off cool new stuff instead of repeating fights they had before. Which also means they would not have to cut short to not make it feel dragged out. @masterofkido: I wondered about that, too. Shes nearly forgotten. Only recent thing we saw was with the several fakes vs. Hitsugaya. She (preferable as the real one, not regai) should really get some screen time, which should not consist of her getting beaten somehow. |

| With the way Kageroza's power works, there could potentially be an endless cycle of he and Nozomi absorbing each other's attack and firing it back forever until someone gets tired. I dunno, but looking at the preview they obviously won't be taking that route. |

The guy is so powerfull that even Aizen had to deploy special tricks to stop his sword from working or fighting him in general. His probably ten times faster than that Kageroza guy anyway. All he has to do is slash him before he can even lift his sword. |

| Yeah, still filler, but enjoyable filler at that! So far, the pacing and action have been good enough that I genuinely want to watch more. Roll on wednesdays! |

| For the record, this episode was actually good! :-) Great fight scenes and the matchup was great! It was cool to see again Kyoraku and Ukitake going into shikai form! And seeing Unohana fight was cool! :-)) In this whole arc it looks like old man Yama-ji is getting more praise then Ichigo.. Ichigo was like...meh.. weak haha |
