| Ruri has evolved a lot in terms of knowledge: she is now able to come up with really good ideas. She has found her vocation. All her efforts were rewarded. Although she made a mistake in her notes, she was able to detect and correct it on her own. It was a beautiful episode. |

| There's a lot of philosophy of science here. It tackles myths versus naturalistic explanations without necessarily condemning the myths. It's a great episode when you think about it. |

| That was such a great episode! The pay off was amazing. Ruri's and teams efforts really did pay in the form of Sapphires. Saphhire's one of my fav gems. I learnt about them from Pokemon I think xD. The fusion of ancient mythology and modern understanding was incredible. I never thought of that. The point about how myths and stories shouldnt be discarded but understood from a modern perspective really makes you ponder. Ruri realized her error they were quickly able to narrow down their search. The teams really supportive for sure. All in all it was such a great end to the first half. The animation and direction was god tier as usual. Loved the part with the research to be continued. Those captions were great too. Reminded me of early fan subs. |

Well, Ruri might not always look like it but she worked hard this episode. She's also surprisingly attentive to details.
