| Death row prisoners are here, and they are brutal. They're already after us. We did struggle quite a lot against that one guy. And, Shin got a big ability boost, thanks to the idiot yapping about killing Sakamoto's family. Shin can see into the future now, to some extent. |

@Skuvan Maybe it's because the battle chapters read so fast for me, but I forget if Shin's really used this again. And they give a good explanation for why he can't use it often, but it feels like the author's saving its return for something more climactic, even if he's already had some tough fights virtually on his own since then without someone else intervening

@Skuvan Shin's backstory is definitely something that's gotten more focus than Sakamoto's, at least in serving to give Shin more depth, Sakamoto's whole thing with meeting his wife is still kind of vague, even if they do explain some stuff. Good way to keep the audience engaged, give them just enough
| @holdingnothing Honestly, I would’ve watched it either way, whether it had Taro’s backstory or not, haha. I saw a lot of people complaining about the first season, saying it was overrated and that the animation was bad. But honestly, when I watched it, I didn’t think either of those statements were true. The animation was excellent, the fights were spectacular, and the anime didn’t feel overrated at all. So yeah, I honestly just love this anime. |
| 1st episode done and the animation is improving which is a good sign but still kinda lacks in the fighting scenes. About the op song wise it's okay while the visuals go pewpew like damn! |

@gorkthe134th what they find interesting doesn't always lead to a Good Adaptation and ends up hurting the overall reputation of the material for the actual fans
| @SoulReaper85 Of course, with adaptations, there is always the question of how close you want to stick to the original and what to change. Making a perfect replica is impossible (except if you just make the voice actors read the manga, but even in that case you have to choose the pacing). My point is, as long as you are adapting something that already exists you have to make changes, and that is a great opportunity to put your on spin to it. I agree that the safest option would be to take an approach that has been proven to work, which is why many other people use it too. You will have the lowest probability of upsetting the fans and you will most likely also make the producers happy. But by taking the risk, it makes your creation special in some way, and it may even be the reason some people fall in love with it. I am not trying to convince anyone that that is what you must do in every situation, yet it is something I personally appreciate, even if I don't like it. In other words, I am not mad that they reverted something I liked (although I can't deny, that is part of it), but I am more disappointed that they have made their creation worse because a vocal majority overreacted, plus I am worried that the next season will lean more heavily into "the norm". (Same thing applies to Chainsaw Man and the Ryū Nakayama controversy.) |

| So the Death Row inmates are targeting Sakamoto and his gang and one of them has made a move by targeting Shin and Lu at a pet store. Shin has unlocked the power of clairvoyance through his psychic powers to take out the Death Row inmate. I was shocked that Sakamoto is a B ranked target when he should at least be A rank or higher given his excessive body count and poor Shin is ranked lower than Lou at D rank. I also like the OP in this cour. |

| I finished Season 1 two weeks ago and I can finally enjoy Season 2 so soon! First episode is great, we're back with villains that will probably be "episodic villains" for some time. Shin becomes stronger (the bond of friendship?) and it's a good start for this season. I hope it makes me laugh so much like S1. |

| Shin vs that nutcase at the end when he got his new ability is a total ripoff from Hajimete no Ippo when Takamura fought against Hawk. Both the fight and sound in my opinion. |

| A good start for the second part. It was great to see the Order assassins again, and that old Takamura? You can tell he's incredibly powerful. I'm looking forward to seeing him in action. Now that the death row inmates have started attacking, Shin and Lu had a tough time against Saw. But Shin always stands up in the worst of times, and this time with a big improvement: his mind-reading ability turned into a real vision of the future. A solid first episode. I liked the first season, even if some didn't like it, and honestly? This new part looks like it could eclipse the previous one. |

| Mangaka Yuuto Suzuki's continuation of Sakamoto Days, this time, gets a lot more fearsome, with old and new enemies from Slur's end. Oh yea, Kroi's OP may not be as dramatic as the 1st OP, but it'll do just fine. Slur's death row inmates apart, the Order is also on the lookout for them, as much as re-introductions go for a split short time away. And although Nagumo is warning this on behalf of the Order towards Sakamoto, nothing seems out of the ordinary, at least for the majority of the premiere. On the sidelines, both Shin and Lu getting accosted by one of the death row inmates, and the former may be the lowest ranked of the targets to deal enough sense, but dealing with Saw and knowing his intention to kill with Shin's clairvoyance giving him a heads up, proves quite the challenge. Even Sakamoto knows this himself that Shin still has potential to grow within his limits, and if there's truly a time to step up, now's the time to act upon it by taking down Saw himself. Certainly a much better "start" of the 2 split cour seasons, looking forward to more action. |

| Not bad at all. They spent way too much effort on the opening just to pair it with that shitty ass song. It stands out even more. Shin's awakening was just as abrupt as in the manga. It's random but whatever, it's a gag manga. |
