| Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari. The MC sais I'm not going to meet with the other heroes and leaves in one episode. Then in the next episode we see him sitting at a table with the rest of the heroes. The hero plans to go all over the world where waves are causing destruction. However at the end of s1 he ends up becoming a lord, with a domain and people to govern. Just these two moments confused me more bthan any other anime ever did. |

He pretty much openly admitted to making a series to try to generate controversy to draw attention, because as he put it, if 100 people all like something, they are less likely to want to financially support a series than 50 people who like it having to deal with 50 people who hate it and everything it represents. This can be interpreted as "Piracy is such a thing with this type of content around the world that generating conflict to make people who enjoyed it more supportive of my series and therefore put more cash in my pocket was my goal," but that's not explicitly stated. I just kind of got that undertone from it. You can watch it here. The dude also says something along the lines of "There are some passionate writers who create the trends the rest of us follow, and I think that's great, but my passion is making money." He also does the interview in a fursuit. Redo put me off entirely of even considering watching it because of the premise, but the interview itself was funny as hell to me, ngl. |

| that moment in shadows house where the story build up to a certain possibility and rather then the characters finding it out in some grand reveal the anime literally has the villain walk into a room full of villains and one of them pretty much says " pls exposition that thing that you already know and we already know " and then he literally expositions the mystery. and after that the characters dont even find it out . one of them just guesses it correctly in very specific detail . |

| Plenty of stuff in Kyo Kara Maoh, notably: 1. When Yuuri bitch slaps Wolfram for insulting his mother and everyone starts congratulating them because slapping equals getting engaged in the other world. Like how dense can you be!? Read the situation for goodness sake! 2. Later when Yuuri says that the only reason he doesn't break the mistaken engagement is because he feels bad for slapping him without knowing about the custom and doesn't want to hurt his pride by dumping him so he'll instead wait for Wolfram to break up from his end. Like wtf, it was totally Wolfram's fault, he deserved a tight slap for the way he was behaving, it's a really stupid excuse the author came up with just for shipping purposes. 3. Demons age 5 times slower than humans both physically and mentally but for some reason 16 years is considered an adult and 16 year old demons basically have the physical body and mental capacity of 3 year old and they are perfectly legal to fuck and marry! What was the author even thinking!? |

| Code Geass. Suzuka was so against Lelouch for using violence to reform Japan instead of Suzuya who... also was a fighter except he was fighting for the bad guy.
