This topic was made to contain every anime/manga that had any stage play adaptations AND never had any doramas, neither had any live-action movies made for them, if you know I'm missing any, or added something wrong, please reply to this topic.

I'd like to share this site for stage plays: https://www.japan-stage-connection.com/en
I don't know if the club already uses it for reference but in any case I'd just like to share here. The site is a huge help for finding stage play adaptations especially for some of my stacks.

Edit:
Additional site: https://www.j25musical.jp/en/stage/ | https://www.j25musical.jp/en/archive/

@hacker09 Sure!

Here's another site: https://www.nelke.co.jp/

There are also some stage plays on IMDb, TMDB and Letterboxd. Well, those that are available on Blu-ray and DVD at least.
(Example: Patalliro! Stage Play (2017) | 1 episode x 1h 44m - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6461194/ / https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/1173428 / https://letterboxd.com/film/patalliro-stage-play/)

Oh, I also check Amazon Japan for Blu-rays and DVDs of some stage plays.

Some stage plays are also available on U-Next for streaming.

@hacker09 I'd just like to clarify something before I start adding anything to the club relations and this thread... So anime or manga that ONLY has stage play adaptations can be listed here? Not EVERY title on the sidebar that has stage play adaptations?

How about this?:
Patalliro! anime and manga have a live-action movie called Patalliro! The Movie and a stage play called Patalliro! Stage Play. The anime sequel Patalliro! Stardust Keikaku has a stage play adaptation called Patalliro! Stage Play ★Stardust Project★ but it doesn't have its own live-action movie. So should Patalliro! Stardust Keikaku be listed here? Or not because its main anime Patalliro! has a live-action movie?

@IridescentJaune

Correct.
EVERY title on the sidebar that has stage play/musical adaptations AND never had any doramas, nor had any live-action movies made for them should be added here (slowly, likely manually, by someone... at some point...)

Patalliro should not be listed here then, because if the franchise had 1 live action at some point, live-action and series (doramas) are usually easy to find online, but stage/musical plays and such are nearly never available online, or they're too short, or made for kids, or have a voice-over, or no voice at all, so stage/musical plays are only informational 99% of the time, and I bet that other people, don't care about info, but instead want to be able to watch something.

So while Patalliro, if an anime has had both live actions and multiple stage plays, but it has 1 or more live actions for the entire franchise... I want people to be able to find that out, by being able to google something like "Patalliro live action free online" or something like that until they find it. If they care about info and want to see stage/musical plays posters (cause that's all one can find 99% of the time), then they'll google and research in depth themselves.

In the future the script that I made for you and for tsubasalover, will use the data on this topic, to tell users "This franchise only had stage/musical plays and no live-action series nor doramas". So those who only care about watching stuff online, won't waste their time to google something like "Patalliro live action free online" or something like that, so this topic will help those not waste their time searching for what doesn't exist.

The rule of thumb is that if you can find it on 1 or more of the following 3 websites IMDB, AsianWiki, MyDramaList, then it should not be listed here, or if you find something on 1+ of these 3 sites that's listed here, then erase that entry link+title from this topic.

@hacker09 Oh, alright. I see.

But we can add Patalliro! Stardust Keikaku (sequel) on the club's sidebar? Just not in this thread since the Patalliro! franchise has a live-action movie (based on the main anime and manga)?

I've been editing my stack BL Franchises and found some live-action movies and stage plays for some of the titles. I would like to add entries that are not yet on the club's relations sidebar but wanted to clarify things first.

I might also slowly go over the stage plays on the sites I shared previously:
https://www.japan-stage-connection.com/en
https://www.j25musical.jp/en/archive/
But I wasn't sure about some things. Thanks for the clarification. It looks like I'd have to really research before I add something in this list compared with the sidebar.

There are stage plays that are available on Blu-ray and DVD (can be checked on Amazon Japan). And there are some that are available for streaming on platforms like U-Next or Amazon Prime. Most of Patalliro!'s stage plays are available on Blu-ray and/or DVD. Sasaki to Miyano's stage play is available for streaming on U-Next. Banana Fish The Stage is available for streaming on Amazon Prime as well as on Blu-ray and DVD.

P.S. Sorry, I've been mentioning Patalliro! a lot. It's just one of the titles in my stack. LOL.

@IridescentJaune

Yes, you can do that. Whatever has a live action adaptation (like doramas and movies are allowed in the club)

"looks like I'd have to really research before I add something in this list compared with the sidebar."
Not really... Live action movies and doramas show up easily on any google search or on 1 or more of the following 3 websites IMDB, AsianWiki, MyDramaList.

"There are stage plays that are available on Blu-ray and DVD (can be checked on Amazon Japan)." Most people are always willing to pirate though, while not the same amount of people are willing to pay/buy anything...

Seems like Patalliro! is one of those few cases where you can find recordings... I don't manage or care about those few cases and they should still be added here IF it never had any Live action movies and doramas.

I meant I should be careful with adding anime and manga in this specific list since the rule is only those with stage plays and no dorama... I fear I might make a mistake and add those that have both dorama and stage plays. 😅 But yeah, you're right.

Yeah. But we can also pirate those plays. Hehe. 😉 Some are even on Bililbili. 😉

Okay, noted.
