THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

That μ girl has more human emotions than I had thought..

Weird episode but that scene between μ and Ritsu was the highlight. I also think this episode really cut down on the comedy. Probably works better that way although I still think the storytelling of the show is very average.

This was an odd episode. The group was making food together and Kotarou was going out dressed up in a costume to help people lol. Ritsu had an interesting encounter with μ. She's awake now.

First half not very important...
Second half is quite interesting with the discussion between Ritsu and μ...

But at the end... who is Kensuke? I never seen him in the group

So Going Home Club knowing no way to go "back home", what are we going to do now? Nabe party! Uh yeah....that's pretty useless and boring af. The only thing that interest me is Ritsu interaction with μ. It's pretty obvious at this point that he's the "creator" or somehow connected with the birth of Mobius. I hope they take the comedy happy go lucky moments in this anime and add more psychological aspects.

So the music room become their HQ. Its quite funny imagining Shougo working in a accessory shop though. Taking advantage of the peace to forge stronger bonds over a hot pot was a great idea though. Hmm Tomoe having a side role as a hero though is quite funny. But the conversation between Ritsu and Mu sure was interesting. Mu though is so innocent and curious about the world. With Mu's awakening looks like the battle between the two sides are renewed. A calm episode that expanded quite a bit on relationship between Ritsu and Mu and hinted on his real world memories. Looks like Ritsu has finally found a reason to fight though.

At one point near the end I noticed Kensuke chillin in the group and I was like huh? Isn’t that one of the musicians? Why is he here? Isn’t this problematic???

...We’re trusting Kensuke now? Why??
*squints at Kensuke* I’m keeping an eye on you....

He's one of the Musicians. IkeP refers to him as KagiP in an earlier episode. The better question is, what is he doing there??? Why is the group okay with him around? What's going on??

The weirdest part is, he just appeared outta nowhere:

Suzuna could've covered him in the first screenshot, but in the next scene with kotono he isn't visivle either (the table isn't that big).

Pretty weird episode.

A terribly boring and useless first half and a quite odd yet intriguing second half with the conversation between μ and Ritsu. μ seems pretty nice for now.

Welp, things are starting to get interesting now.

Loved the watercolor(?) scene between Ritsu and μ. It was also interesting as well as eye-opening in some ways for the former.

Kotaro being "Rescue Man" is pretty heartwarming, to say the least, though it's sad that he couldn't enjoy the hotpot with the others.

One of the Musicians has inserted himself quite well into the "Go-Home Club" group, but how did he do it in the first place?

Also, μ starting to cry, well...I wonder what that's all about.

Anyway, can't wait to see what happens next!

Honestly the episode was a little boring but that stunt in the end was cool. i knew that 'megane' have some kind of a mind control/hypnosis power from the graduation ceremony in ep 1, next episode gonna be good, i think.

Also that end card was sweet, the show have so much potential and its actually good but the timing was sadly bad, a lot of good stuff in this season and not to mention its big brother **** 5! There is not much room to shine...

About Kensuke, he's somehow helping the main group because of what he saw in the previous episode, it seems he's a double agent.

Welp. if this Kensuke dude is a double agent then them Go Home Clubs should find out ASAP before he does something diabolical.

It is obvious most Musicians care for the Myu as she brought them some peace and happiness, even if they all know it is fake. After the last episode, seeing Myu in agony, wrathful, Kensuke is probably reconsidering if this is worth it. Or, at least, he should.

not to mention kensuke showing up randomly at the end i still don't remember the other guy that looks just like him without glasses ,he kinda just started appearing in the earlier episodes at one point.

best part about this show once it started to go down hill has been the pop team epic looking end comics ,lol at least their a bit aware of their use of "blueprints"

u and ritsu talk about happiness, and well i do believe that happiness is more than having what you wish to have with. u's goal is to grant all the wishes people desire to be happy, but ritsu has other way of thinking about it..

well i just hope that u could realize what happiness really is...

I see what they were doing in this episode. The first and second halves differentiate the meanings of happiness. Sharing a hot pot with friends, being a hero to the people, wanting to see someone... Happiness is a way of thinking. Happiness is when you feel fulfilled...or another way of putting it is happiness is when you get what you want how you want it, which is what mu was pointing out. Interesting. I did like the different art for the second half though.

Now what the heck is Kensuke aka KagiP doing in the GoHome club? I don't think the club knows that he is a musician yet, so he could be just a spy of some sort for the musicians.

"Your life shouldn't be built on someone else's blueprint. No matter how unskilled you may be, you should draw it yourself." And they're referencing Persona 5 here...

Yeah, not like he was the one Ritsu ran away from the ceremony during the first episode. Definitely was not him attacking them with the rest of musicians in the previous episode. Mystery-boi.

Go Home Club knew Kensuke is a musician
(Shougo fought with him in ep6, remember? actually they fought with each other between ep2&3). And by the end of this ep Kensuke has joined the club instead of staying with musicians.

yesterday I saw something in reddit that shows the details that the series is having.

"Quite late, but 2 noticable things with Ritsu since Episode 1:

Dark Gray shirt - in color psychology, gray means being neutral, analytical and logical. This is how Ritsu has always been. Most notable in Episode 2 and 3, where instead of immediately siding with Shogo, he took a neutral stance first to find out and understand the truth about Mobius. Lighter shades of color convey communication. Darker shades convey authority - this is more fitting at this point, since he is now the President of the Go-Home Club.

Red Rose brooch - (or is it a pendant?) Red Roses symbolize lies. The world that they live in is a lie. The normal, peaceful high school lives they once had is also a lie.

The ED even had Red Roses as the most prominent feature. There's also a scene where Mu picks up a withered red rose and breathes life back into it - "What is over will begin anew". An endless loop of the blissful high school lives for everyone."

You mean even though he attacked everyone in the graduation? seeing he whats them to trust him makes obvious they know

Ok, we had a calm episode just as I thought with the nabe party, Aria is pretty bossy when it comes to food made by her, funny.

That conversation Ritsu and Mu had was intriguing, apparently Ritsu (given from what was shown on those flashbacks) was a worker for a company (maybe a software developer or something) and because of something he might be the one who created or co-created Mu. I'm really looking forward to the resolution of this anime.

The 4-komas this thing has are the highlitgh of the anime besides the music Xd.
One day I'll be active here, in the mean time I'll keep track of what I watch offline 😅

Seems like Ritsu was the main theorist of the Mobius project, and volunteered for the testing... though did he undergo a change of ideology while in Mobius? Stay tuned.

Ok let me guess that thing that GakiP told to Go Home Club is

Also hot pot moment while it looks kind of pointless it's actualy important I mean

From the looks of it we migh actually learn something about Mobius (there's not much on that subject in game).
Seeing IkeP kind of beaten up made me happy, because he's my least favourite Muscian (Mirei is close second).
I also love the fact that they implemented Shugos part time job moments (tho I prefer in game reason for why he's doing it :P ).
I wonder if Kensuke's crappy ... I mean amazing poem will be implemented somehow in anime xd
For those wondering about why Kensuke is with GHC at the end

Not bad ... but previous ep was better :P

Lmao they literally just inserted Kensuke into the Go-Home Club with zero explanation, completely skipping his arc. But they wasted the full episode doing nothing. Kotaro got some screen time with his wish of becoming a hero.. which was way over the top and annoying. Sure, Kotaro is an obnoxious and short-fused character, but the way the presented the whole hero gag just didnt fit in at all.

I believe Izuru and Kensuke are connected, they have the same hairstyle, we'll see in the next episode.

BTW is that a powerpuff girls reference LOL ??
