| Bad guy turned out to be really weak, after all these episodes of making him seem badass. Although i think at some point there his sanity snapped, so i guess that could explain his quick demise. "Oh my cute Marian!" petting her even though she wasn't there anymore. I hope they discontinue Yuuki "disappearing" this is the second or third time they just went "lolz poof full torch power instantly" They've realized that its his Hougu, so stop pretending hes gonna disappear every single time now :P Overall still pretty bored with the show, but somehow its passable. Its taking up the most space on my HD, so best to get it over with now. |

| Hmm, I actually like the way that villian died, it was an action packed episode It would've been lame for him to steal more air time than he already had. Guess he got his just desserts for that huh :P. I really like the other flame haze though, it woulda sucked if she died and not him. So imho, great episode! :D |

| Shana must have played XIII before. This was probably the only game which features glass shards as a weapon ^^ Also, when she mentioned that she's feeling warmth inside her body, I thought of something like her feelings towards Yuuji, not the rising power of her flame ._. |

| It was definitely a good episode, but somehow I was expecting more. o_O He just seemed super weak. Well, maybe we can look forward to stronger villains and more challenging fights in later episodes... It was nice to have Yuuji's Hougu clearly defined though. Awesome. I wonder if there's a catch to it though that will eventually lead to him 'burning out' as a Torch. Shana said the powers he uses each day will be restored... which seemed to indicate that he could live out life as a [relatively] normal person? |

| Pretty disappointed in how easily he was defeated. "I can stop any attack! Except glass, derrrrrp!" I at least wanted to see Marian in human form, she was pretty ad'awwwable. The hand holding scene was surprising since she knew he wouldn't disappear. A little more 'dere than I'm used to I guess. Not really looking forward to drunk boobs girl next, meh. |

| Not even an under-boss. The doll fancier couldn't even develop a fiendish plot properly, as Marjorie didn't take the bait and showed up for the main fight. You have to give Mariane credit though as she sacrificed herself for her master. Next episode looks interesting as the two Flame Haze fight it out... |

| Kind of another episode with just stuff happening apart from action, but I don't mind that stuff, I wonder if Yuji is gonna stop Hecate from killing or doing something to Shana, hope she gets Alastor back soon. |

| It took surprisingly little to kill the guy who wanted to plow that doll. I expected for him to continuously pull out many of his little toys to defend himself. In the end, I felt his death was anti-climatic in that it was so abrupt and half expected at that point, not to mention how the whole city devouring thing just ends without much explanation. Like what about all those torches who were taken out during the spell's casting time? Or were those torches not enough to cause any major distortions, so everything just goes on as if it were only a handful who disappeared? |

| This is reminding me of the dynamics of Eureka 7 which I just finished - really skilled girl falls into the life of annoying guy who turns out to have a really strong power. Together they can become invincible. I like where this is going :) |

| Woah this anime is great i usually watch anime alternately but i dint cant stop clicking next episode of this anime because its to awsome 9/10 for this anime and 5/5 for this Ep. if you take a look at my list i only have 1 anime that has 10/10 so 9/10 is like a masterpiece to me |

| I'm really disappointed that they got the ring but didn't get the gun or bell. I mean if they had gotten the gun at least Yuji wouldn't be useless in combat :/ |
| So now we know what his treasure do exactly. It's pretty OP :P He can pretty much be immortal with that, right? I still don't really understand what are the Purple and all the setting of the story, but at least, there's some devellopement in their relationship. I laughed when Shana was mad because he didn't say that she was a friend. Also, when he made that thumb up was hilarious xD |

| That part with Friagne was weird, he kicks asses left and right but loses "his sanity" and dies. And is this the part where Shana is out of her tsun tsun part and got more into the dere? c: |
| It was ok I guess, but rushed and not the best episode out there. It's good that Friagne is dead but the way he died was really disappointing, he proved to be fail of antagonist. Also, Yuuji felt like he was helpful but I felt differently, he was pretty useless there. If I remember the movie correctly, this scene had much more substance there. They didn't even explained power of Trigger Happy or that the ring actually protected him from her flames. And it was Yuuji who saw through his scheme with devouring bell and warned them all. I actually recommend watching the gekijouban right after this episode six, it's much more epic and better than anime verison of this arc. |
| The way Friagne was dealt with was kinda anticlimatic in the end, but since he was just a minor villain it doesn't bother me much. The scene between Shana and Yuuji at the end was nice and now we know the reason why Yuujis flame keeps regenerating. |

| I had high expectations for this series. It looked great, had awesome op & eds, an original world and excellent pacing. But this episode was bad. Shana failed to do anything for 90% of the episode and then she was suddenly able to get the upper hand merely because Sakai points out where the attacks are coming from. What is this, Pokemon? Alastor could have done this too, and from the beginning. The villain was introduced in a very elaborate manner and I expected him to last for the whole season. A pity he died so easily. I do hope it gets better because I have been waiting to watch this for three years... Edit - I watched the recap movie and this fight is much better executed in there. Several scenes have been changed and new ones added. I recommend watching it after finishing the season. |

| I kinda feel bad for Friagne. Was Marianne really worth all that trouble? she better be a 10/10 super hot girl, someone worthy to spend an eternity with. Or is she gonna be in that doll form forever? I guess we'll never know. Love makes the world go round. It gives you a buff as well. But I guess it didn't work for Friagne and Marianne. Because they are the antags. Of course Yuuji isn't gonna disappear. The story would end at that point. |
