| Isn't the math in ep 14 a bit flawed? It looks like they have only 200 people there or less and everyone has to serve 200. No way is one person eating more than 3 meals and even that is stretching it. |
| Nice opening song. The ending theme is alright but... did the singer really intentionally sing like that? It's funny, I guess. I'm looking forward to see Erina's face of her reaction when she finds out who Soma's dad is and that it is someone she is very fond of. Like father, like son! Jouichirou's younger version is so... HOT! <3 |

I did not appreciate those guys staring at Ikumi. You dont stare at one of my waifu's and get away with it. Oh, snap. Erina got the hots for Rikiya(Jouichirou). I don't blame her. He is Rikiya. Thank you Rikiya for making Ryouko have a foodgasm. It was a sight to see. Jouichirou didn't graduate because he fucked around and was having a kid...I think. :D |

| New OP is fire, really loving this series ! (Previous ED was better imo) The character development has been phenomenal, it's crazy how none of the side characters have been left out - probably the strongest point for me. Plot development is really good, every episode introduces adds another layer to the story. The pacing has been great to this point; slowly peeling back Souma's dad's past has introduced more twists. I wonder if Souma's mom has a connection to Erina? Only gripe: Can't tell if the 15 yo's are blushing out of admiration of a 40-50 yo guy or if they're actually checking him out (creepy af). The sexual innuendos have gone too far imo... Really glad I started this series, 1 episode feels like 3 episodes of Boku no Trash academia + the character development is a godsend in comparison. |

| -Joichiro is such a badass, and it's very apparent how much Souma takes after his father. One of Totsuki's legendary warrior kings returns to grace the land once more, and lo and behold his descendant is none other than our journeying Saint Knight! The Warrior King had disappeared from the land, and lived a peaceful and reclusive life. His son was raised as a commoner, fated to become their champion and a defender of the weak from the establishment forces that be. However, the blood of royals too courses through his veins, and thus shall he be the bridge that unites the land and ushers in a new era. -Who is the mother? It'll probably involve a twist. -Joichiro is Erina's idol? :o -Shougeki between Souma and joichiro. Should be intense. -The new OP is fine, but I'm not a fan of the ED at all. |

| Some revelations about Joichiro. Joichiro and Doujima were at the top of the school during their days. Erina seems to admire Joichiro. Can't wait to see her reaction when she finds that Joichiro is Souma's father. :D |

| The OP and ED are weaker than the first pair, but maybe they'll grow on me, who knows? At least, Touma's father's secret is finally out, even if it is to a very small number of people. Like it was blindingly obvious from the start that Touma was not a simple chef, yet none of the students even guessed that he had such a pedigree behind him. So basically, the students were somehow both underestimating AND overestimating him. Like they thought of him as a riff-raf who had somehow gained entry into the school, yet everytime he survived they thought of him as someone pulling a miracle instead of it being something that had been drilled into him. Did they really think the academy's hurdles were that easy for some no-name to jump over? Really enjoyed the episode. |

| I'm not totally sure if Erina's aware of it but her passive-aggressive remarks about her comparing Soma's cooking skills to that man strongly implies that she does and shows that she's pretty jealous of Soma spending a lot more time with him instead of having cooking lessons with her. It's a really big shock that Joichiro was a mentor of hers, not to mention the fact that he's the legendary chef who started the Golden Age of the Polar Star Dormitory with Gin Dojima while being seated at the Penultimate position of the Elite Ten. His cooking really is world-class and Soma just found out about his legacy and where his dad's story had begun in a really cool way. It's unfortunate that he can't marvel upon his old man's glory days because he had entered the lair of the Demon of the East and it's pretty much Hell's Kitchen from there on out. The new opening has a lot more action than the first one and the new ending is pretty much Erina and her secretary's love story with pretty creepy undertones to it. |

| Doujima knowing Soma's dad isn't surprising, there were hints ever since he first met Soma despite the different last names, but to have Erina know him as well? bleh I hate twists like this :v |

| Fun episode and a nice change of pace after an intense camp arc with the Polar Star residents returning home and greeted by Soma's father, the former 2nd seat of Totsuki Academy. Some nice bonding moments as a whole between family there (until the cliffhanger post-credits with the challenge being thrown down by Jouichiro). Also, a photo of Erina and Jouichiro together was revealed too. Her idol in cooking, and his son is the person she probably hates the most. Anime ladies and gentlemen. |
