1.Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho (movie) has guns but they don't affect the art or plot really.
2.Hotarubi no Mori e (movie) good art and story
3. Kontonoha no Niwa (movie i think you already watched) 100% all you need to know.
4. Pandora Hearts (show) wish it had a second season
5. Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu (show)

(i guess I don't really have many anime suggestions that fit the criteria you suggested)

Personally if your looking for really beautiful art in anime i would suggest movies since they it seems they spend more time on little details and such.

These are AMAZING and yea detail makes all the difference. personally first one is my favorite out of the four, but they are all really good!

Yea i'm really into art that uses light(as in sunlight light) and soft colors.
