| Now I see. That badminton-like game with the paddles is a traditional Japanese New Year's game called Hanetsuki (羽根突き). So if you fail to hit the thing then somebody gets to draw a black mark on your face using India Ink. Or so I read.  I remember seeing a glimpse of people doing the painting the face with ink thing in some episode of Lucky Star, but there was no explanation of what was going on. |

| That's a different kind of badminton to what I've played lol, I was rubbish at regular badminton so I'd suck at that too. Stupid shuttlecocks. Sayuri is good and all their faces got painted funny lol. Red <3 |
