THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So... They ate chicken, and then proceeded to turn black... Anyhow, that was pretty disturbing. Powerful stuff. |

After searching about it on the Internet, it appears that the sypnosis actually isn't from this film. The sypnosis about "puberty" is from a 16 min. film titled "Hand Soap" from the same director, while Yuki Doke's is as following: " Finding a dog's carcass, a boy starts to get strong, hateful feelings toward living beings, including himself." |

Yeaaahhhh, I don't like being the guy that says "Not everything is art," but...just being experimental does not make something artistic... |

Yeah I thought that was strange too... I just put in a submission for new descriptions with words straight from the artist: http://www.wochikochi.jp/english/serialessay/2014/09/-kei-oyama-hello-everyone-the-weather-is-cooler-and.php |

I actually thought it was kind of cool, got a lot of Salad Fingers vibes from it. Would recommend it... To someone I don't particularly like. |

I've seen way worse, but this is real good at being real bad. Disturbing, short, but not short enough. |

Experimental. So what I got out from this, is that the MC wants to eat itself? Also, doesn't the dude eating the chicken on the right look like Squidward? Idk, 1/10. |

Nicely disturbing images, quietly surreal. As a short horror piece it might have been okay, but it lingered too long on the images, making me lose interest despite its short runtime. |

Quite intriguing concept and interesting visuals, however I wasn't convinced by either the story or main theme of the whole movie. |

So it's a veganism message or just randomly focused on blood/guts/internal parts? On the positives, I like at least the idea of using live action human pieces for the eyes and mouths. It creates a distinct look, and I like that they placed the eyes in unusual opinion, like the Squidward dude. Beyond that, none of this work. I think the most disappointing point of all of this is how boring it actually was. Like I thought this was some demented horror short but it was just so dull. It fell completely flat to disturb or unsettle me, or illicit any emotional response beyond mild confusion or boredom. I do wish there was a subtitled version available. I can't imagine whatever they say will change anything, and I'm not entirely sure they're even speaking Japanese to be fair, but I do feel slightly bad rating what I might be missing a crucial piece of the puzzle. But I'm still going to rate it. 2/10. |

Hello i came from the future in 2023, I truly do not understand the point of the 6 minute film. Is it supposed to represent the feeling you get when you lost your beloved pet? Other than that, it felt like it had no impact in what the film was trying to convey. |
