Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen

For centuries, the Demon Slayer Corps has sacredly kept the location of Swordsmith Village a secret. As the village of the greatest forgers, it provides Demon Slayers with the finest weapons, which allow them to fight night-crawling fiends and ensure the safety of humans. After his sword was chipped and deemed useless, Tanjirou Kamado, along with his precious little sister Nezuko, is escorted to the village to receive a new one.

Meanwhile, the death of an Upper Rank Demon disturbs the idle order in the demon world. As Tanjirou becomes acquainted with Mist Hashira Muichirou Tokitou and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, ferocious powers creep from the shadows and threaten to shatter the Demon Slayers' greatest line of defense.

This season is a little bit boring than the others.

Reasons?
It's really getting boring when they keep showing you flashbacks of the character, and when character's story is not interesting it's really painful to watch it. Except Genya, his story was interesting but Muichiro, demons and Kanroji... meh.

Fights were also boring, five second of action and five minute of talking during the fightings, not the mention that demons who were expected to be stronger than Gyutaro (UPR 6) were actually weak and there was almost no action in both fights.

Animations were not good as previous seasons.

It feels like the rushed too much in this ... season,

The last episode actually carried the entire season.


Overall
Well, after all Demon Slayer is a great show. It's of course above the avarage so our expectations are high so even small details we don't like can bother us.. Watch it and go for the other season, good anime.

Mixed Feelings

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc


Please understand me, I like Demon Slayer. No matter how clichéd, stupid, and embarrassing the anime can be, I like it for that very simplicity. And the naturally shockingly good animations are just the cherry on top of the already appetising cake.

It has to be said anyway, this season was just bad, there's nothing more to say. The pacing was sluggish, practically nothing happened. The whole season was just one big training arc with an Indian film at the end. Nothing happened in the whole season except screentime for irrelevant side characters that ... can't have any meaning in the upcoming season, and development for the water Hashira.

They should have either squeezed the season into 2 episodes or made a montage out of it, like they made 6 damn episodes out of Rocky going jogging.

I liked the last 2 episodes, the rest can be skipped completely once Giyu's flashback is done. Otherwise the season has no relevance whatsoever.

Only Recommended for Demon Slayer Fans like me, otherwise DONT touch it.

Not Recommended

I dot't understand the hype around Demon Slayer anymore. The only positive I have to share is the animation style except for the "3D parts". The fighting scenes are colorful and really cool to look at. So far the good parts and now I will start ranting.

Story: so predictable... ofc the highlevel demons are "difficult" to defeat and OFC at the brink of the heroes death, they suddenly get a sobbing flashback then awakening and then lastly an energy burst. Suddenly their broken bodies are not so broken.... sounds familiar? Yes it was like the previous seasons.

I don't feel like we learned anything new ... or groundbreaking this arc. They're just a bunch of vampires, looking for a cure. I feel like the cure is going the be something cliche like "love"

The most annoying part is Mitsuri's screaming and oversexualisation. Still don't understand why I keep watching it, eventhough it's not even top tier anime.
