Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen

For centuries, the Demon Slayer Corps has sacredly kept the location of Swordsmith Village a secret. As the village of the greatest forgers, it provides Demon Slayers with the finest weapons, which allow them to fight night-crawling fiends and ensure the safety of humans. After his sword was chipped and deemed useless, Tanjirou Kamado, along with his precious little sister Nezuko, is escorted to the village to receive a new one.

Meanwhile, the death of an Upper Rank Demon disturbs the idle order in the demon world. As Tanjirou becomes acquainted with Mist Hashira Muichirou Tokitou and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, ferocious powers creep from the shadows and threaten to shatter the Demon Slayers' greatest line of defense.

This season of Demon Slayer is absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed every single episode! The characters work great here again, the story building is good, interesting flashbacks, incredibly incredibly UNREALLY great music (both in the intro and outro), the animation is once again absolutely perfect and truly one of the best I've ever seen, especially here we get epic fights that look breathtaking and each episode flies by like water. Compared to previous series, I would also highlight the "sweatshop" scenes, which are not bad in Demon Slayer, but never really appealed to me, however, there are several such scenes in this season that ... I enjoyed quite a bit and I still remember them. Otherwise, I would really like to highlight the characters Tanjiro, Nezuko, Genyo, Tokita and Mitsuri, who are absolutely divine and in the last episode I wasn't too sure how it would all turn out, although my expectations were eventually confirmed. I would find a few negatives, and some may find the story a bit straightforward and full of fights, but in my opinion it's so good overall that it's pointless to look for negatives. Full stars are not enough, because I enjoyed this season of Demon Slayer immensely...

Mixed Feelings

Got bored until the last arc [Hashira Training Arc] and dropped it on episode 2 and couldn't continue. The only thing I'll give credit to Demon Slayer itself, its is quality in animation and production. But the story itself is mediocre at best. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The characters are just boring. Even most of the character designs are wayy over the top. I don't know, I enjoyed the last movie, since Its been a while since I watched it. I would recommend watching a few episodes and decide if you would like to continue the story. Otherwise, wouldn't recommend it. Mixed about this one!

I dot't understand the hype around Demon Slayer anymore. The only positive I have to share is the animation style except for the "3D parts". The fighting scenes are colorful and really cool to look at. So far the good parts and now I will start ranting.

Story: so predictable... ofc the highlevel demons are "difficult" to defeat and OFC at the brink of the heroes death, they suddenly get a sobbing flashback then awakening and then lastly an energy burst. Suddenly their broken bodies are not so broken.... sounds familiar? Yes it was like the previous seasons.

I don't feel like we learned anything new ... or groundbreaking this arc. They're just a bunch of vampires, looking for a cure. I feel like the cure is going the be something cliche like "love"

The most annoying part is Mitsuri's screaming and oversexualisation. Still don't understand why I keep watching it, eventhough it's not even top tier anime.
