It's not the most original plot, but still this was really entertaining to watch. I like the fact that Kafka is an 32 year old dude. It makes him really relatable. He is should have his life together, but still hasn't achieved his goals. The fact he is still trying, is motivating to watch.
The plot really feels like AOT x Chainsawman but with Godzilla. The protagonist turns into a monster but still tries to save the world. And Soushiro is basically Levi. Reno is like Armin, and Kikoru is Misa... even Iharu gives me Jean vibes... well so on.
I like the art style and

Only the last episode got exciting, they rest is pretty boring. The whole story is just some "training, which wasn't even that cool and boring" I don't feel like this "training" arc adds anything to the story... I wish they spend more time on "exploring" the problem of the demons or the Demon Slayer Corp, but instead we got some lame-ass jokes.
I hated what they did to Giyu, he was supposed to be the cool person but instead he got so lame.... I don't like the Hashira's at all, it feels like a bunch of chaotic teenagers. The only consistent thing that is good about ... Sep 3, 2024

I’m pissed bcus everybody was hyping about this and it did not meet up to my expectations. It was an agony to finish this, the only reason for me to finish this is to give a proper review.
I get it, we live in a different generation, so yeah ninja’s are extinct, but we can still merge them with new technology… it’s not the first serie that tried this, but it made the story really predictable. Rich spoiled tech nerd trying to “better” the world with his innovative technology, meanwhile he is corrupted by an oldschool gang… and they f’ed up by messing with ... Jan 24, 2024
I dot't understand the hype around Demon Slayer anymore. The only positive I have to share is the animation style except for the "3D parts". The fighting scenes are colorful and really cool to look at. So far the good parts and now I will start ranting.
Story: so predictable... ofc the highlevel demons are "difficult" to defeat and OFC at the brink of the heroes death, they suddenly get a sobbing flashback then awakening and then lastly an energy burst. Suddenly their broken bodies are not so broken.... sounds familiar? Yes it was like the previous seasons. I don't feel like we learned anything new ... Nov 1, 2023
I’ve never seen Astro boy, so I felt like I was missing some background knowledge. I think people score higher because it’s a spin-off. I wished I shared those nostalgic feelings.
Ok back to Pluto, it’s definitely more a mature anime. The subject of AI is getting more popular, and its intersting to see where we as humans should be afraid of it. The story is building up slow not just only to see who’s guilty but also making you feel why. This was really good storytelling. Eventhough the episodes are 1 hour long some plotlines are being rushed and some are cut short. (Think because ... May 31, 2022
I'm mostly no fan of drama's but somehow was intrigued by the plot. The story really gets you emotionally invested in the characters, but only if you really follow them. If you're not interested in the characters, the story is kinda lame.
I really had some issues with the "time jumps". It kinda felt harsh and there'e not a lot of explanations about how coïncident some encounters were. Maquia is likeable as a kid, but somehow gets cringey as an adult. (probably because she still talks like a kid) Overall, I liked the artwork and the moral of the story (kinda cliche tho, but still entertaining) May 15, 2022

I loved season one... then I saw the movie..... it was good, but a lil bit to long.... THEN I saw season 2..... WTF was that.
I never watched a serie in so much agony... I wanted to stop after episode 3.... but then I wanted to finish it, cus I was naive to think maybe it's still has a good ending... well jokes on me... The screaming, the voices , the way of talking, the random dumb jokes, the stupid faces, it was just to much. I wished they spent more time writing a good story, cus even the plot line was horrible. It ... Sep 23, 2020

I first watched the OG Hunter x Hunter and then chimed in at episode 76, so I can review them both. It brought so much nostalgia watching 90's anime, I love the character development, but it's in a really slow pace. The 2011 version is easier to follow but really lacks the deepness of the characters. That said, I love this show. I can compare it with Naruto, but this is so much better. I'm kinda ashamed it took me so long to watch this.
STORY The complexity and detail for story is so well thought. The villains are unique and have their own story and power ... Jul 19, 2017

FIRST THINGS FIRST THIS DOES NOT CONTINUES ON SEASON 1!!!
I was confused as hell. I didn't wanted to read more reviews about season 2 due spoilers, but the first few episodes I didn't understand at all, so my focus was more in trying to figure out what the hell is happening. When I finally realized that the ending of season 1 never happened I started to notice how bad season 2 was. Story: Apparently this season is true to the manga. That's not a problem, but I wished they just continued with the story, because some quotes were being repeated in in such a cringey ... Jul 11, 2017

I dropped the series after 6 episodes, not because I didn't like it, but I've already watched a lot of anime in this category, and watching this felt like a waste of time. I really wanted to watch something similar to "Shinesekai Yori" and I was curious bout this series, but unfortunately I couldn't keep my interest in this.
STORY The story starts in a really slow pace, not much information is being released about the worlds they're living in. When "something" happens, you will understand more of the history. I read other reviews and they claim the it gets better and better, so keep watching ... |
