Wow. Just wow. I mean, one could take this video as a postmodern view of the relationship between man and woman. Or, you can just watch the video and declare it as nothing but pure and utter, wait for it, shit. Just shit. There is literally no other word to describe this video.

You know, I honestly don't know why I wrote this review at all. I guess I'm just bored. I will give out a warning though. You probably shouldn't watch this while eating or if you're feeling sick.

Actually, better yet, don't watch this at all. Trust me, I'm doing you a favor...

The word "epic" is often thrown around without proper reasoning or cause. But when a true work of art presents itself you tend to take notice. My friends, calling this gift from the heavens anything less than a masterpiece would be an insult to God himself. ONE HAVE NOT TRULY LIVED UNTIL SEEING THIS.

The philosophical undertones and visual motifs were brilliantly executed. Intertwined with symbolic allegories regarding Social Darwinism and finding ones raison d'etre, this impeccable work of art not only reaches ambitious heights, but it does so with elegance and grace.

It's cathartic, it's exquisite, it's truly a work of art!

In recent years, there has been a surge in 1 episode short sketch anime that are just...BAD! The general consensus is that Shitcom along with Utsu Musume Sayuri are the worst of the bunch.

What exactly inspired this new form of anime in Japan is anyone's guess. Perhaps it was the short and silly sketches of Robot Chicken, or the short and random cartoons of Terry Gilliam? If you combined both of those with the writing quality of the recent flop, Movie 43, you would be getting close to imagining how stupid Shitcom is.

Shitcom is the story of 2 poorly animated claymation puppets like Mr. Bill ... in the old Saturday Night Live sketches, who eat at a restaurant and shit out of their mouths...for 3 minutes. That's it! Japan is certainly a foreign and unique culture to Americans like me, but there are 2 types of weird stuff that Japan makes. The first is actually derived from traditional Japanese culture, and simply appears odd to Americans that don't understand that culture. An example of this variety of weirdness would be the annual Japanese Penis Festival. The 2nd variety of weirdness occurs when Japan tries hard to imitate the humor or "cool style" of a foreign culture (usually American) and ends up failing on an EPIC level. Shitcom fits into this 2nd category. I don't know why Japan wishes to copy the worst aspects of American comedy, but I REALLY wish they would stop!

There's a tendency among some to assume that the creators of certain post-modern art pieces have hidden great symbolic value and deeper meanings in them, even when such interpretations are indistinguishable from the rationalisation of someone who will stubbornly insist that anything they've willingly subjected themselves to wasn't a waste of their time: Some people say that Shitcom is an elegant deconstruction of romantic comedy tropes that manages to find a punchy and concise way to depict the struggle of finding others that love you for who you really are deep down, but I think they're just talking shit.

I don't write reviews to be silly, so I won't give this the obviously sarcastic praise it gets. This is terrible. It serves no purpose and is in terrible taste (no pun intended.)

There is no comedy. Who would laugh at this? Even if someone has a terrible toilet humor taste in comedy, they shouldn't find this remotely funny.

I will never recommend this to anyone, nor will I tell anyone about it because it doesn't even deserve one extra vote on Youtube. I'd recommend Atsushi Wada over this garbage.

I seriously don't have words to describe such a shit. Moreover, half of the name already reflects the idea of the "Anime". Is about shit and it is a crap. I hate people who troll saying that this pathetic "anime" is good. So, I can say that is the only "anime" which I voted 1. Worst minute of my life. ...Do I have to write a review on this? It's a couple shitting out of their mouths that's literally it. The guy proposes, the woman barfs out shit, the guy becomes horrified, understandably, and then he barfs out shit as well. I think I speak for all when I say: What.

It's one minute long, made of clay toys, has a classy violin playing in the background and it's available on youtube.

Also just a heads up, DON'T EAT WHILE WATCHING IT. Actually, DON'T WATCH IT AT ALL.

So I'm just scrolling through MAL, minding my own business. Then I stumble across something called "Shitcom". I see all of the negative reviews and I see it's only one minute. So I think hey what the he'll it can't be that bad.............right? Well to answer that question yes it was that bad, so bad I would even call it a disgrace. This ONA has 2 somewhat bearable qualities the music and the visuals. The visuals were an average claymation and the sound was pretty mellow. However story and characters obviously don't mean anything to this. There is literally no attempt to develop the characters, ... the plot is nonexistent. And the worst part is it tries to be funny by throwing potty humor that a five year old would probably find humorous but it just ends up as one big flop. I had virtually no enjoyment AT ALL. Listen if you want to experience the mind numbing idiocy that is the structure of Shitcom by all means go right ahead. But to save yourself the brain cells, skip this one.

This review will be short as there is not much to say about this "anime". For starters it is only a minute long so you might as well watch it so you can say you have watched the worst anime ever. The "art" is ugly there is no story and its all around terrible. 0/10 would not watch again. It's scary that this even qualifies as anime.

Because it's not worth even a minute of your time. Use that minute to think about the universe, to masturbate or even to do absolutely nothing, but don't watch this, even if you have a "bizarre interest" like i had.

Um, i honestly don't know why or how i came upon this anime or whatever this was. I was completely dumb enough to say "oh how bad could one minute be?" well, it's one minute i will never get back...

A clay world with clay people have dinner and the dude purposes and she shits out of her mouth and he shits out of his and they smile and accept each other as they are. Don't watch this, if you learned anything from this don't watch it, ugh i'm going to lay down and try to dream of something not appalling

What the fuck did I just watch. This 1 minute ONA left me speechless(in a bad way).

Story: What story. 1/10.

Art: Its a claymation. Not going to complain about a claymation's art because clay figure also counts as a type of art. 5/10.

Sound: The only sound you hear is really fake sounding farts. 2/10.

Character: What to say about the characters... 1/10?

Overall: Wow. 1/10.

TL;DR: A claymotion 1 minute short. It's fairly famous on MAL for being your 1/10 entry example. I tried to give if an objective review.

Story: A man and a woman sit in a restaurant. The woman has stomach issues, and the man proposes to her with a ring. Both orally excrement poop, and are embarrassedly looking at each other. The short closes with both of them smiling at each other in abashment. 4/10

Animation: The short uses clay-motion. Movement is fluid, detail grade compared to other clay-motion movies is slightly below average but not really bad. Camera work is present, different angles and cuts are used. ... 4/10.

Sound: Public domain classical music is used, and there is a collywobbles sound effect. The latter is important for the plot. In total, not very much effort in the sound department. 1/10

Character: The two protagonists are sufficiently characterized by the environment they are in, behaviouralisms, and clothing. This is probably the most you can do in such a short run-time and without words. Emotions (shame, embarrassment) are made visible. So while there is some character design and advancement, the protagonists remain on the level of actors performing a skit, I do not develop emotions for them. 3/10

Enjoyment: Given the run-time of just a minute, there is plot advancement. The plot is certainly a metaphor on human communication and superficiality. Using poop as such is certainly a radical shortcut, and has shock value. On the first viewing, you will only remember the shock value part. It grows on you if you watch repeatedly, transcending trash and camp level. My rating definition for "painful, but better than camp/trash" is a 3/10.

Overall: (4+4+1+3+3)/5=3, above trash level where animation and story originality are the pros. I'm still deducting one point for the mind bleach you need afterwards. 2/10

Story - 2/10
I'm only giving it a 2 because there is A story, if you can even call it that. The story is that a couple is out for dinner and then when the man proposes to the girl everything goes down hill.

Presentation (music & art) - 2/10
It's claymation, not even good claymation. The movements are jagged and the painting is really poor aswell, plus due to the nature of the show it just makes everything look way more disgusting then it needs to be.

Charatures - 3/10
The girl shows genuine fear of her secret being discoverd by the person she loves and ... that means that she seems somewhat real in the regard of having an actual reaction instead of just being all weird and thinking it's okay and the guy is really nice in the way he reviles his secret to try and make the girl he loves feel less bad about it all.

Enjoyment - 1/10
It's hard to enjoy someone when it is so gross that you fell like your getting very close to vommiting. My friend was eating when he watched this and I beg all of you to not do that, if your feeling sick or eating something then do not watch this. I tried to be objective on the stuff above but regardless of all of this the enjoyment factor is extremly low!

Conclusion - overall 1.7 / 10
The show is horrible but looking at it objectively it does have some form of chratures and there is a story despite it not being enjoyable, the show is the world thing ever and it gets a low score for it, but it's not worth a 1, too many people put everything on enjoyment but it has some more then that. Enjoyment factors for 50% of my score but there's more to it then that. It's gets a 1.7 overall so it's rounded up to 2!

Final conclusion:- This anime is shit, bullshit, human shit but just shit wooh welcome to scat porn territory, this anime ain't about love its about shit!!!!. For those who don't know I am Josh and today I am re-reviewing shitcom. Let's just get this over with.

Story- It has a message. I'll give it that. It's showing that if you truly love someone you'll accept them no matter what. I'll give it that but dear god you couldn't have done it in a different way that makes me want to vomit. I got enough of people crapping out of their mouths in South Park.

Art- I am debating on wether this is anime. Yes it is made in Japan as far ... as I know. Yes it brings something different to the table and yes the guy who made it was Japanese. But this looks more or less like a cartoon more then anime. When I think of claymation, I think of cartoon not anime

Sound- There is some sound and it sounds classical. It some type of classic music but that isn't really my thing so I couldn't tell you what it was

Characters- I don't even know how to describe the characters

Enjoyment- While I did think about and got the message..I'm sorry I didn't enjoy it. If you did fine, I didn't. I'm sorry but I sincerely have limits with what I want to see and while I can get the message which a good one...I don't want to see that. I don't want to see crap coming out of someone's mouth. I don't even want to look at my own crap. It made me want to vomit cause I seriously don't want to see n if it is meant to show a message or whatever, I don't want to freaking see that. It sincerely made me lose my appetite.

Overall- While I do get the message which I will again say is a nice one...No I'm sorry it's still a 1/10 for me. There's a message and I am sorry but I can't get passed the visuals without wanting to vomit

Shitcom is an absolute representation of what it is like to be in a relationship.

There is a strong metaphor in this anime. Of which is shit coming out of the couples' mouths. This is used to portray the empty compliments and the utter shit, speech wise (not literal), that comes out of a persons mouth when in a relationship.

This anime may have been short, only being just over a minute, but I have honestly learnt a lot about the world, and society, just from this short time.

However, due to the lack of content and all of that crap, I have to give this 'thing' an ... overall rating of 3.

There is no story, unless you count the ring part of the whole thing a story, so this section gets a 1.

The art is just clay models, which isn't bad. However, just from the current setting, it looks pretty shit. So this section gets a 2.

The sound is decent, being a classical song. However, this is the only sound. I give this section a 5.

Characters might as well be nonexistent, or replaced with a few spoons. This section gets a 1.

I didn't get too much enjoyment out of this one, however, it was still more enjoyable than some of the trash anime out there today. So I give this section a 5.

With an overall score of 3; don't watch unless you're a masochist or have no idea of what it is you are doing with your life or where your destination is.
