Blue Lock vs. U-20 Japan

The next phase of the controversial Blue Lock project is underway with the candidate pool being dwindled down to just 35. Out of the remaining strikers, only a select few will be chosen to play in an upcoming exhibition game against the current U-20 Japanese soccer team. Playing in this match comes with a caveat: winning will grant the players the right to represent the nation as the new U-20 team, but losing will bring an end to Blue Lock in its entirety. Among the ones left in the running is Yoichi Isagi, who is coming to terms with his own abilities.

To further complicate matters, the six best players in the pool have already been named to the starting lineup and the remaining 29 will have to duke it out to claim a coveted spot. Each candidate must select a top six pairing to team up with for the selection to prove their competence. But if this mishmash of strikers wants to overthrow the current U-20 team, they will need to find a way to combine their playstyles effectively.

Preliminary (3/14 eps)

I don't understand where the hate is coming from, not that there is much.
The first episode didn't start of with a BANG, like season 1 did but this is because it's preparing for the next matches coming up.
Episode 2 there wasn't anything crazy but episode 3 was insane, Especially Isagi's goal.
I feel like most people who voted low don't have an in depth understanding of football and the thought processes people have to go through when playing with the ball, I feel like blue lock does a great job of this especially how Isagi evolved as a player as the episodes go ... on. The story is great so far, the animation could be better, but then again I'm the type of person who doesn't put all my expectations on incredible animation as not every episode is going to be ufotable level, but I do enjoy a good story when I see one.

Mixed Feelings

OK, SO APPARENTLY BLUE LOCK S2 WAS LITERALLY ONE OF THE BIGGEST ANIME THAT FANS ARE WAITING FOR THIS IN 'FALL 2024', BCOZ MAINLY FOR THE JAPAN U20 VS BLUE LOCK MATCH [U20 ARC ] , BUT WHAT WE GOT IS UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT ...

If i have to describe this season of BLUE LOCK in one word till now, the word would be 'DISAPPOINTMENT'...

Story is Good[ especially the U20 ARC is extremely good if you guys has read the manga] ,Characters are very good , we got our GOAT ISAGI , we got SHIDOU[ 2nd best player of blue lock ], We got ITOSHI RIN ... [ no. 1 player of Blue lock], We have our fastest runner Long red hair Princess CHIGIRI .. , we will see Bachira , Nagi and Barou in further episodes , Pacing of the story is also fine , but what about THE ANIMATIONS ???

What we Fans got is' POWERPOINT PRESENTATION' with some good looking moments [like Isagi goal moment was actually good tho] , instead of giving the real animation ??? Why 8Bit studios why ??? Why you guys are playing with our emotions ??? You guys were the one who made the S1 of blue lock , you guys have made Animes like 'Reincarnated as Slime' ,then why you guys are giving us powerpoint presentation ???

1st episode was ok ok , Second ep was trash and third ep was just a little bit better than 2nd ep ..

Now, I'm one of that guys who still believe that They have saved their entire budget for the U20 match and i do hope that they will do justice to this GOATed arc ....

So, if they gonna continue the Powerpoint presentation for the rest of this season , then I'm not giving this season more than 4 /10 [ I'm giving it 4 just bcoz i love blue lock manga and i do really love U20 ARC ... , but
IF THEY REALLY IMPROVE THEIR ANIMATIONS in further episodes AND IF they really do JUSTICE TO THE U20 ARC , THEN I MAY GIVE THIS SEASON A HIGHER RATING AND MAYBE DELETE THIS REVIEW BUT ONLY IF, when THEY REALLY IMPROVE THEIR ANIMATION PRODUCTION]...

THE BIGGEST SCAM OF ALL TIME IS BACK TO THE BUSINESS!! THEY ARE CREATING BIG-HEADS, “EGOIST’, BUT ANIMATORS FAIL IN THE PROCESS.

Blue Lock is a series that never leaves a moment to deceive you by their frisky and adrenaline-pumping trick or tactics about their so-called made-up football, literary. Anyway, it’s usual for me because I have been scammed on a weekly basis for around one and a half years, thanks to the manga, but when I watched the episode of season 2, it’s like this is beyond any help. Animation was so fucking poor, one-dimensional (felt like I was watching a manga panel with ... some color and PowerPoint effects), and holy damm that disgusting 3DCT animation. And I'm not saying this is new for season 2, this also repeated in season 1. However, I don't know why people don't accept this fact that both seasons are the same shit, but ironically, season 2’s animation has lost all the remaining qualities that we got in season 1. And the reason is simple: they change the director and other stuff, just like JJK seasons 1 and 2. So, yeah. It looks like they are continuing some kind of tradition or might be culture.

Whatever it is, there's nothing more or less. If there’s any award on “Scam of the Year," then Blue Lock is definitely going to win.
