The rest of the arcs couldnt get me to care but: CHIMERA ANT ARC: Meruem and the guards are peak character writting from togashi. Meruem himself is probably the most well written one in history for a 1 arc character. Damn had potential but ending sure left a sour taste. Don't watch it if you see it in any satisfying ending list etc. Plotwise it doesn't really evolve and the epilogue was ..... I think the overall plot (even though it's not even original and all stolen basically) is actually somewhat decent. The reason this show is just so ass though is because there is a lot of weird stuff added for no reason, like the fact that all the franxx have to be piloted doggy style??? or maybe when Kokoro gets pregnant for some fucking reason???... read more

This show is Unabashedly goofy, and I love it for that. It initially presents as though it's going to have real-robot tone, but then swerves hard into classic Super Robot territory and makes it gay, and that's an A+ in my book.
