Ichijinsha announced a television anime adaptation of Mogusu's Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochiwarui (It's Too Sick to Call this Love) manga on Tuesday.

Synopsis
Once you fall for someone, you can't stop the love.

A strange encounter spurs the meeting of Amakusa Ryou, a high spec businessman who is loose with women, and his high school sister's best friend, Arima Ichika. From there, he falls madly in love. On one hand, he approaches her with almost too straight-forward methods, while she responds simply disgusted, insulting him without hesitation... and he takes it as her way of showing love.

This is a romantic comedy about a twisted elite employee and a normal otaku high school girl. (Source: MU, edited)

Mogosu began drawing the romantic comedy manga in Comic POOL website in January 2015. Ichijinsha will ship the seventh volume on Friday. The manga has a cumulative 1 million copies of its compiled volumes in circulation.

The first thing I thought when reading the summary was "This is not only creepy but hella illegal" This would be considered very illegal and weird if they were both high school students, him being however many years older than her is just adding gallons upon gallons of gasoline on the sun! WTF!?

Definitely doesn't sound like my kind of romance at all, the "couple" dynamic gives me flash backs of anime such as Saiunkoku Monogatari
Though this time her behaviour sounds more warranted, since he sounds nasty, or maybe they both are despicable like in Kaichou wa Maid-sama! by the looks of it, so i'll skip!

Can't wait. We need more romance
lol

What's the age gap here? Is he in his 30s or 40s?

I can’t remember if it’s early or late but he’s in his twenties

Whaaaat.... I’m a bit shocked, haha. He looks like he’s 35-40. I’m used to older dudes to be drawn like this, like in Natsume Ono works.

I remember starting this one but not getting around to being caught up. Seems ok from what I remember although I can easily see people getting triggered by it

I'm going to read the manga for this.

Shouldn't you do it the other way around?

One of those stories where you actually agree when the female MC showing utter disgust and rightly so! Haha! There are moments when you'd feel Amakusa has been showing genuine affection for Ichika but his lousy/womanizer character (although he stops being one after falling in love with Ichika) cannot be taken seriously and you cannot blame her for that!

Cool, sounds like it'll be a fun company when it airs!

This is a very silly and fun manga. I have been reading it for quite a while now. Very surprised to see this one getting an adaptation. WotaKoi was very popular so I got why it got an adaptation. Haven't been keeping tabs on this one's oricon numbers so it could be fairly popular as well.

As for the story, it makes me want to punch Amakusa on the face but the best thing is his character is made in such a way that you'd want to punch him on the face! He has looks but that's pretty much all about him.
