'Tokyo Ghoul' Spin-Off Manga 'Jack' Gets OVA

It was revealed at the end of Tokyo Ghoul √A's finale that Sui Ishida's spin-off manga Tokyo Ghoul: "Jack" will be getting an OVA. The story will focus on the high school days of Kishou Arima, the CCG's shinigami.

The seven-chapter spin-off manga was initially published on Jump LIVE, Shounen Jump's digital manga platform, in August and September 2013. It was later compiled into a single volume on October 18, 2013.

I like Arima as much as the next guy...but I'm quite terrified of how this might turn out, I'll keep my hopes down so if it is bad I won't be too disappointed.

i don't know why everyone is attacking root A , i agree the animation was shit ! but i actually liked the story , and liked the fact the we CAN see hide's body , the story wasn't well-balanced but it was nice , i hope that we can see a 3rd season of TG , because i didn't really understand the ending ,, did kaneki die ? i don't get it

That's impossible because of the following reasons:

1. Only Naruto fillers could possibly be shittier than Root A.

2. TG: Jack is only 7 chapters long and isn't really what you'd call vital information, especially now that the anime is over. Even if they somehow skip most of it, it should still be a fairly decent OVA.
